Hong, do u have the contact no for kids outlet at Holland V? last week i saw a summer dress but didnt buy...i wan to call & RSVP!
 
decor - i also only a few banners n a few balloons (only 10 normal balloons)

think keep it simple the best lah. I feel just concentrate a kids area to decor will do. Adults also wont bother rite. haha :p

then take pics, cut cake etc all in the done up area. haha :p

Bring your bb's birthcert and your IC and a empty milk powder container to the OUB walkway (Raffles Place) to redeem a free 900g of Nan Follow on 3 (for 10mths to 3 yrs old)and a goodie bag consisting of a Hippo plush toy, 3 bibs and a milk powder dispenser.

I heard they quite lax, some mummies didnt bring the empty milk container also can redeem too.
 
8-12mths as of 31st may mah... then all got chance rite?? hahaha

The decorations they provide is not much.... very very simple infact. I add afew more ballons and some banners. You took up the Mac package is it? I opt for the exclusive party so had to cater for my own food.

Lets orgainse a day for our babies to meet up and play at teh gym? On?

haha i'm so happy... Caitz decided to walk again... she did a few times now. I'm so proud of her!!! At least my hb also managed to catch that moment!!! so happy!!!

After trying out GUG trial, i dun think i wanna sign her up for the programme. She was pretty bored in the class. nearly fell asleep too!

I wanna try out JG but i think i might continue BJG for another semester.
 
Yeah!!! I'm so proud n so happy... but my hb is the opposite... he is sad cus his little girl is growing up so fast hahaha

i'm happy cus i take care of her full time n now see her grow up so strong n healthy, i'm just beaming with joy!

ya lor..quite contradicting hor, on one hand, we want to see them reach their major development milestones, on the other hand, hate to see them grow up so fast..my hb was saying he will b sad when his 2 gers grow up & marry away..keke..still so far away, he already worry liao

dsii - i agree with u. gug probably better for older kids...the flashcards and zoophonics thingy dun think our babies can catch anything within that short span of 5-10 mins...i find everything too rushed...think squeeze too many things into 1.5 hours...somemore got chinese even...hahah.

I like JG more...my girl has been there for 1 term liao...i find their programme less rushed, and more sound like they believe snack time is important to encourage socialization skills, free play is important and their teachers will really sit down and play with the kids...more toys and not forgetting, their outdoor play, the kids simply love that...i heard the GUG counter staff mention to a parent that the first 15 mins of free play is for parents who are late...nothing much during that time to observe...iyo so terrible.
 
huh? got flashcards meh?? which part?? i cant remember hahahaa

anyway i'm not impressed... esp the hygiene part! anyway i still think BJG better than GUG. my preference lah

Big congrats to Caitz! Can "hear" your joy from way here. I almost teared when I saw a tooth appearing in my own Cait's mouth. Can't imagine when she starts walking..

But she's started talking though. Favourite word is now "Up" so we carry her. She signs "Oh oh", points to her grandpa's photo and waves hello all the time. Proud parents we all are..

I need to make to trip to HK next weekend for training, and am scratching my head as to how to pump and carry the precious milk back. If there are any pumping mummies who have flown recently, and have met with the airline liquid carry-on restrictions, please do share your experience. Many thanks!

When will you be holding your birthday party? Are you planning to have additional balloons? There is a helium tank and i think they charge $1 For each balloon.

I don't stay nearby. Yup, I opt for exclusive package so will be catering buffet. Which day you normally go there?

Hi Mummies,

FYI, Nestle is giving away a $38 goodie bag that contains a NAN 3 follow-up formula (900g), hippo plush toy, powder dispenser and a set of 3 bibs tomorrow between 11am to 3pm at OUB Centre Walkway.
Mummies, in order to collect the goodie bag, you must remember to bring along your child's birth cert and any empty tin of formula.
(But I saw a lot of people working in that area just give the baby's birthcert no, never give any empty tin to the Nestle Staff to collect the $38 goodie bag)
NAN 3 is a follow up formula for baby fm 10mths to 3 years
 
GUG,
Kay enjoys the trial though..she was very attentive & keep staring at the trainer & clapping & waving away.

But then, I also feel it's more for older kids..some more too many progs in 1.5hrs...music, songs, dance, chinese, zoophonices, hand painting, alphabets flashcards...
 
btw, I saw other kids in other classrooms eating leh..mayb got snack provided?

Verdict on trainer:
Not well-prepared...the chinese trainer can't find the fish toy so just draw a fish on the board. Music cannot play..then dilly dally lotsa time...
 
hahaha yeah... not well prepared indeed... huh the alphabets consider flashcard ah? then BJG flashcards consider what? that one faster leh... cus they say bbs attention span can capture it. i dun find the programme anything special lor... caitz only like the music part. She smiled a bit thats all. Sighz... hard to please her!
