hello mummies,
me too. i noticed my girl start to get cranky in the morning. she'll like cry and cry duno for what, carry her also no use. then feeding time still far so cant feed her yet. gave her water she also dun want. haiz...

my girl also puke milk afew times when i feed her and her puke was so scary cos the milk came out from her mouth and nose... shocked me! got one time when she puked and milk came out from her nose, she looked as if she cant breathe like that so i faster let her sit straight hoping the milk mucus will go down and not block her nose. this one was a very bad shock for me.

then from that time onwards, if she cant finish her milk, i wont force her anymore...

we are in the same plight as you. last time hubby and i can finish our household choses within 1-2 hours during weekends. but now with baby liao, it's like one of us gotta carry baby and that left with the other one to do the house work. then now, every night came back from my mum's house, so busy with baby and housework. duno why suddenly like got so much housework to do and it's like cannot finish doing it one. sigh.. after that still gotta pat baby to sleep... on good days, bb will sleep at 10pm.. on bad days, 12am still havent close her eyes ah... haiz... really very tough loh.. then still gotta wake up for nite feeds leh... i've just started taking full care of bb at nite myself and my body cant take it liao cos i'm feeling giddy groggy today...

I shave my gal botak, then the hair grow out like world map leh..patch here n there, at the back no hair...so ugly! any other bb same? how to make hair grow evenly? heehee

i think is like that...cos last time my #1 oso hair one patch one patch..but after a while...become normal loh...me tat time oso worried...worried his hair cannot grow..scared my hb will scold me (i brought him for haircut..ended up botak come back)...but thank god...few mths later...hair grew nicely...

my gal's hair also like that. think the lady never shaved her hair evenly. can see some short some long.

oh yes, did any mummies took their bb's hair to make the scholar brush? mine can collect liao. can wait to see it. hehehe....

saw one mummy selling max cool cardigan at $8... just nice for me cos i've been wanting to buy a cardigan for fionne. been to robinson but they dont sell this.. me chop it liao... hee hee...

then i saw a BP on agar agar mooncakes.. hmmm... i've tried it before but duno is it the same one... you buying any mooncakes?

my boy also same, his milk intake reduced. ask PD, said no probs, lungs R clear don't know why he sounds like cough.

hello, me din logged in for some time cos down with flu oso, my hb lor, brought home d virus, my MIL genah oso then bb like got a bit of block nose n cough...

got a referral letter from polyclinic to bring bb to kkh next week cos we found tiny streaks of blood in her poo, hopefully not too serious
 
Lala, yes lor back at office after only 7 week. i rest since i 3 month preg, so better work, as i freelancer, so got work better work.. its been really hard for me to pump as i pump in the toilet and there's only 2 toilet in the office. 1st and 2nd day i pump twice in the office, by 3rd day i down to only pump. so all in all, i pump 3X a day only. very sad actually to not be able to pump more often.. but it is really very hard for me as my line of work is very stressful and demanding, forever rushing and meeting impossible deadlines. really hope can maintian pumping 3 X a day.. if not bb like so poor thing..

I really feel like no life, everyday after work, i'll go to my mum;s pl to see bb and by the time i am home it;ll be abt 10-11pm, then got to pump milk, bathe n sleep liao.. really no time for other thing. now i typing fast fast so i can finish this and go to bed already.. cos tmr must wake up early to pump milk before work. i hav no time to do hsework at all, luckily i have a part-time maid to help me on sunday of not my hse sure jai lat.. somemore i bringing bb home on fri.. haiz.. miss him but going to be very tiring for me again..

ok got to go bed liao.. mummies hang in there, we chat again k..
 
Hi Dsii, My MIL will take care of baby when I'm back work but everyday I got to bring him back.

Just feed my baby, latch on. Actually breastmilk not empty out yet but I really lazy to pump.. :p
 
dsii, Germayn's intake also decreased ytd, for her whole of ytd, she took abt 40ml less for each feed. It's like, when i feed her halfway, she'll scream and scream. Then I'll burp her. after burping her, i'll try to let her drink again. Then she'll scream still. Then I thought she didnt want the milk anymore. Then i gave her her pacifier but she was still agitated, like..no milk from pacifier. Then she would scream still. Would keep trying till an hour later when I have to throw away the excess ebm, then would latch her on. So her milk times went haywire ytd also..

my older boy had cross eye also, when he was younger. got better liao but now still abit. we asked PD abt it when he was a few months old and PD said it's normal for babies to be like tt, so it shld be ok.

going to pump now.. havent pumped for 6 hrs. last pumped at 2am cos my gal woke up at 1.30am for her milk, then just woke up at 7.40am for her milk. then her milk time before the 1.30am one was 7.30pm. haha. think she was too tired after the morning and afternoon battles (getting her to finish her milk). And i tried to let my gal drink defrosted milk ytd. cos normally i'll express and keep some in the fridge and some in freezer cos i still want her to have 'fresher' milk. then the ones in the freezer her bro and sis will help to clear and i wanna accumulate to abt 2 mths supply so tt when i stop pumping she can still cont for 2 mths. but i realise tt her face was like..abit funny when i let her have the defrosted milk. and after only drinking abit, she'll be cranky. i hope she doesnt dislike drinking tt.. if not all my efforts will go to waste.
 
miss u mummies here! miss the time i sit in in front of the computer wif bb reading the threads...

taking care of bb alone really hard work, although miss bb, but working makes me feel more normal lor.. i think i am the lao lu ming kind, haiz...

but i envy those SAHM too, can spend so much time wif their bb...while i cannot. must rush here n there everytime...
 
Hi misaryeo, With lesser frequency to pump milk, do you feel engorge and uncomfortable?

I'm thinking of starting a routine to help me get use to lesser frequency of pumping and longer interval so that when I get back to work I will have lesser problem of engorement. After considering my work nature, I think I can pump twice in office... (provided I dun have much things to do at hand..). But that would means I have to wake up at 6am to pump milk as the next pump time would be lunch time, than at about 4:30 think I can squeeze time to pump.. Dun know the long interval from 6am to 12pm will be too much to bear or not.. I teach so not possible to pump milk when I have class in the morning. Some days no class than can lar. Anyway, I have decide to pump the most 4x a day and try for one month when I get back to work. The most I can stretch is till December (school holiday but still must go back work). Well, who knows, I might stop breastfeeding before I get back to work.. :p

same same. now that i no longer bf, the guilt is there, which is far worse than no life at all. just tell urself that u're doing the best u can, no matter wat. we sure can cope watever comes our way, just hv to "tong", tiring but all worthwhile

i feel the same way, while i enjoyed taking care of bb, but i'm also glad to be back at work. trying to maintain a balanced work/family life so not easy!

I also think working will make one feel more normal coz doing things for yourself. Taking care of baby full-time is like giving all your time to baby. hmm ... if my HB is earning a lot, I don't mind being a SAHM, spending time with my girl ... better still with a maid around to take care of household chores... hehehe

Hang in there with your pumping ... 3x a day is already very good, considering have to meet work demands. I am also not sure how things will be like for me. Understand when you say 2 toilet cubicles, so stressful!!

Btw, what pump are you using? Do you feel very paiseh when it's time to express milk coz carrying the breastpump? I am using the Medela PIS, so huge, think everytime I go toilet, surely my colleagues will know. Very embarassing esp with male colleagues around

Me pumping milk now, last pump was also at 2am... very sianz & laszy with expressing milk nowadays. My girl is like yours, she simply refuses to drink frozen EBM. I have many many frozen ones in the fridge, initially was thinking such a waste but realise that if mix FRESH EBM with the frozen ones, she is ok. You can try to do that.

Same here, when go back to work, 4x a day of expressing milk is the best I can give. Twice at home and twice in office. I am also trying to stretch to a 6 hour interval. These few days doing that, get engorge a few times but the body will adjust soon.

I give to my son, but tik he won't like the smell so I mix his formula with some EBM, anyone try this before?

Yes im giving EBM to my boy @ 34mths. EMB @ 210ML + 3.5 scoops of FM. I mix with his formula n he drink.

I went yesterday with my girl, there are some clothes for infant as well. I ordered some clothes fromt he Vbabay.com thru the spree there too. My frd told me the material is gd, i give everyone feedback once i got it. Anyone getting from there?
 
hong, how u & bb julian?? set routine liao? pls can i check, how much milk is Julian drinking now huh? my bb is drinking 150ml @ 4hr interval and gets hungry 2 hrs later! sometimes even before 2 hrs ley so i give water but he rejects water! me back at work yesterday. took 9 wks ML only. ya, wait for ur feedback abt the clothes. heee, so hard to find nice clothing for bb boys ley. wat's the website addy huh?

he said blocked nose loh..but dunno issit cough..cos ian didnt make the cough sound when he was there..hahaa..but he gave him cough med anyway..and nasal drops...hope he will get better loh...as forthe phlegm he said only abit..so dun worry loh...

usually he will drink ard 100-120ml..at times can hit to 140ml...but these few days..his intake decrease leh...now drinking abt 80 or 90ml the most...but at times..can only drink 60ml..waste my BM...haiz...and Fm too..hehhee...but PD said maybe he not feeling gd thats y milk intake lesser...

YES...aiyo...headache ah....2 timnes per night...hmm....usually 1st feed will be ard 2 plus..then 4-5am....

Julian still taking 120ml but his interval is 2.5hr. I always wanna stretch till 3hr but he cant really wait.

150ml 4hrly but after 2 hr, he fuss to feed again? I think the amt is ok, cos 2nd month shld be 150ml. If u give him more milk, will he take? Are u still bfing? If not must feed him more water cos FM can be quite heaty. Just force him to take some, a little is better than none.

Routine - still trying to set, but i alwways make him sleep after bath after the nap will feed him n make him nap again. once he wake up will play will him for a while then feed him to let him sleep.

Mine cant sleep thru yet.

I need to ask him abt my girl too cos she is also very heavy althot she doesnt take much. Among her peers, she is abt 4 kg more than the rest.
 
Seems like lots of mummies over here still need to feed their bb at night.

dsii, my bb also same like urs he needs to be fed ard 12am and 2 plus then ard 5 or 6 plus. Very siong... especially when I also need to pump milk twice at night. Wonder when they can sleep thru the night.

yes, if give him more, he'll whack all leh. last feed ard 11 or midnite depending on cycle, i give him 180ml hoping he can sleep thru the nite but hor, 5 hours he wake up liao. ethan also cannot sleep thru the nite. i had to stop bf cos of mastitis, so now fully on FM. ya, i supplement wif water, wait until he really fuss then give him water (i add a bit of glucose, heh).

i went at wk 5 and doc say can wait until wk 8. So i went later, they combined 3 different vaccines:hep B, DTP and something else.
She is better now.
all you mummies feed your bb so much. You know mine ony drink 60ml still at every 2hr or 2.5hr.She will reject if you give her more. When I bf, i think she drink more but in bottle, she only drinks 60ml,after that will refuse.

may be ur bb doesnt like bottle or the teat so she reject. Think she prefer ur breast more.

why u add glucose to the water. Try not to if u can lor else they will reject plain water.

Sometime my boy will fuss before his feeding time. I make lesser for him, so end up he take lesser each feed but more frequently.

That mean u boy can drink alot. U mean after 2hr u make 150ml and he took all? What brand FM are u giving him now?

if give plain water, lagi worse, he rejects totally! oh, i always stretch it to at least 3.5 hours before i give him his feed. i give him 150ml for his feed, and when he fusses, i give him 50-60ml water (most of the times wif glucose) then give him pacificier if he fusses again. this few days, i tried giving him 165ml and he can finish all...but still fuss before next feed ley. now in the transition from Similac to Nestle NAN. i also want to give him lesser if before his feeding time but my mum always tell me cannot, cos will disrupt his feeding time ley.

i think my baby have rashes on his cheek, applying BM can cures ? or what should i do ?

And yesterday i bring my baby to granny house , after baby come home , refuse to eat n sleep the whole nite ! wonder whats wrong , maybe there is kids at granny place , too noisy , make my baby angry n stress ! Anyone baby also like that ?

how is the reaction of your older girl to your bb now?mine is super--whiny, emotional,i can't even have a break at all....

Whitelady, my girl had sticky yellow discharge from the eye for few days,i "sprayed" BM into her eye to wash her eye for a few times. After 2 days,she recovered fully. I dont know for face. you can try but prob it won't work. My bb's face was covered with rashed thro out. It was at wk 5-6 than it recovered. in the meantime, clean with cool boiled water. It should go away by itself, if not, then see PD for med.
