i use "P" mode leh but hor stime can, stime cant get the effect. I went to ask a mummy who is quite an expert in this area. Waiting for her reply.

Does your instruction manual teaches how?

My camera semi-SLR but the effect can only come out under gd sunlight. Very hard for me to get such image under indoor shots.

Ya Ashley is sick. Down wif mild bronchitis on wed and of course kena the neubilizer also...she got diarrehea after taking antibiotics. Just went for review this morning and the PD say could be due to antibiotics also but she never say any remedy to it or nt...
PD say tis week alot of babies kena bronchitis due to 7mth cos alot of pple burning joss papers etc so mummies try to stay away from those areas where pple are burning...

your son is very cute and adorable and solid looking... he is so lovable esp the standing on your hubby's hand... so strong.. i believe when you bring ur son out, sure got alot of ppl playing with him right?

Camera - Mine is Lumix. GOt the flower but then I always try to get the effect but cannot also. Hong - I just tried using yr method, everything is blur, Haha, out of focus liao bah.

I think rubbermaid bottle is a gd investment. Anyway is not very ex too. I went Parkway Isetan, Giant, Tampines Giant and Bukit Merah NTUC but i couldnt find it. I thot they stop producing this model.

This shld be the correct method to capture that effect.

"To get that effect, camera gotta put on Aperture mode. The smaller the number, the shorter the focusing depth (read more blur background). Auto-mode difficult tho i now some good digicams does pre-set in their program for portrait mode"

"The smaller the number" - it mean the Aperture number. To know wat is Aperture number and how to set it.. hee hee.. pls refer to ur manual. hahaha..

if ur camera got "P" mode then use that mode. It will auto set the aperture for u. Mine also fujifilm but older model.

today's strait times there's an article which talks about how dangerous the magnets are - when the child swallow more than one magnets, the strong magnets will attract each other inside the child's stomach!!!!!!....so scary........

I wanted to go to her usual PD but he went for medical conference, in d end went to a GP next door. Dun really like him...

She's given panadol n something to boost her immunity. I forgot to ask him if there's any medication for her ulcers, any mummies know? Or what can i give her? And also according to him, she kenna 2 weeks ago, so called d incubation period, but i read from website dat it's shorter, she could have kenna it 3 to 6 days ago. So im just curious, trying to recall where she had been to...
 
OC - Oh dear. Poor Gillian & of coz Mummy.
Did the doctor give any anti viral? I think for HFMD have to just wait for it to recover.
Luckily u went to see a doc and confirm the actual cause.

the PD gave ian something called oral aid for the ulcers when he had HFMD, supposed to numb the area where you apply it. i tested abit, quite powerful.

OC, hope Gillian will recover soon. These days so many ppl got HFMD. My hb got it from the kids last week also, heng he recovered just b4 we left for HK.

Anyway, i might not be able to go for the gathering on sunday..not sure yet.. i have to go back to work tomorrow.. cos i've got one proj tt'll go live on monday. if i can finish everything by tomorrow, then i can go on sunday, else i might have to go back to office... sad case. it's been like...duno how many yrs since i worked on a weekend.

Hope Gil recovers soon! There's no medication to treat HFMD. Have to let it run it's own course. I think normally about 1 wk...Last time when the GP wrongly diagnosed Kay wif HFMD, he gave Kay anti-viral meds to speed up the process. Dunno if it helps...
 
oh ya, OC, doc gave my kids this..mouth drops also...but everytime when i first drip it in their mouth, they'll cry. so i tried it on myself... there will be this..stinging sensation when i first drip it.. then after that it'll numb the mouth. so if it's really very painful for gillian mabbe can chk with doc or pharmacy if they have that.

my pd also will prescribe oral aid.. its ulcer drops.. in liquid so may be able to reach the throat.. its by prescription only. by the time i wanted to get for jedd, he recovered liao.. dun worry

pls take care of yrself too.. kin got the hfmd virus fro her kids

Haiz.. seems like our babies get sick very often... They're so vunerable. Sick and fall down. This moment have to worry abt teething, then worry abt dengue then HFMD... When will we stop worrying for them??
 
PM...u will nvr stop worrying abt them...when they still small..u wooried abt them falling sick...then when grow odler..worried cannot walk..tok slow..then slightly bigger..worried abt their education..then worried abt work...then worried abt their marriage..then their family life..then their children again...it's a cycle...haiz...u ever head this chinese saying...

meaning u give birth and support them til they 99 yrs old..but u will worried abt them for 100 yrs...

Pic - For auto cam, u need to use Hong's 1st mtd. Press the shutter halfway, it will focus on the object. then once it's steady (usu the squares will be green), then u press full. at the same time, rem to set to marco using the flower pattern.

eeyore...at 1st intend to quit & rest for 3mth, but since got opportunity so accept the offer & c how the new enviroment 1st lo.

YB...didnt rest cause the new company shorthanded lo! sure no problem wan lah! now market is good...right time to go back!
