totally agree that we must keep our bb busy, otherwise they will "self-entertain".. they really like "forbidden fruit".. the more u dun let them play, the more they want to play.. so sometimes it is better for them to play until they r bored but of coz with supervision..

Gosh my son has even long played with room n dustpan, helping the maids to sweep the floor.. now he even takes daddy n mummy clothes to wipe the floor n cupboard.. faint ah..

no leh... my hb may not even have email them to request a change... he is always v slow in doing what I asked him to do... sigh

anyway we are quite busy these 2 days to check also... S had been down with high fever of 40deg since last thurs.... that's why he skipped the SM class and even miss the JG potluck party last weekend. So sad... cos I may not continue JG playclub so it may be his last lesson liao. Anyway J also kenna the high fever since yesterday... so far its ard 39.1 deg for her... I am going to bring her for a blood and urine test later. The PD wont give antibiotic without determining whether its viral or bacteria. It cost us $39 just letting the PD take a look at J and telling us to go blood/urine test first... no medicine no nothing

Good morn mummies

Mandy's butt is much much better yesterday evenin when i picked her up. The swollen area had shrunk smaller. The yellow discharge keeps comin out and when pressed at the side, it oozed out more.. (eekk..sound yucky, rite) But think this will be better gettin wat ever residue is inside. Mandy did stay still awhile when we cleaned her anus, which i think the pain is lesser now as compared to yesterday where she struggled to get away from whoever tryin to chk out her butt :p

But she got loose tools from the antibotics. I changed and wash her dunno how many times yest nite till i got so frustrated and she didnt sleep till 11pm when I simply switch off the lights. Think she got no choice...kekeke.. and slept finally. No fever at nite.

She shld be on the road to recovery. Tis morn, the area had shrunk even smaller and the affected area are not so hard.

Thks for offering. Called the clinic. Told not to apply any other thing except the prescribed one. And air her butt more often.

By the way, does the cream work for very dry skin? Now I hv a problem on my face. Think the hormones changing, my skin suddenly turn extremely sensitive, red and dry (sometime darken) along my jaw line and ard my lips, and especially at nite.

initially i planned to go adelaide.. done some research.. but hubby say he sick of aussie liao haha.. so wanted to try something different, so we decided on hokkaido lor, plus winter time, really very different experience for us first timers to winterland.

Ya, me also recently recovered from my blocked nose.. doc say nose may be sensitive to all those burning around.

S is better... doc suspect its sinus infection... he had 2 episodes of bleeding nose this week beside the infection. And his throat was so sore.... think he got better liao cos the fever is only at 37+ now. J ... no other symptoms... she is still happily watching tv... just a little lethargic

some kids have loose stool when taking some antibiotic like augmentin. S always have that and the doc changed it to another type... Klacid or zithromax.

I heard tat for kids under antibotics, it will kill ALL gd and bad ... so maybe u can give her some probiotics to "replenish" the goods one. can dilute yakult and give her... it's one form of live cultures good for digestive system

it's one of the common childhood disease ... the first 5, they get vaccination for immunity... 6th one till today still got no vaccination.
usually it's rashes followed by 3 day of high fever.

sunflower - roseola is false measels. start with high fever for a few days, then once fever gone, rashes will appear like measels.

Continue to dap with the filtered water on and off and air dry. Once the pus finish oozing out, she will be fine already. Do you give her seafood? Are you still giving her scallop? I have a cousin who used to give her kids seafood, scallops, preserved food... All her 3 kids always have big and painful "mee suay" (that's what they call in hokkien) on the face or body. It sounds like Mandy is having "mee suay" on the butt. It's like a very big pimple. It will be very painful before the pus burst, then it will slowly leak out pus, more and more will leak out till dry up.

Glad to know that Mandy is better. G was like that too...wiggling off when we tried to check her butt - when she was unwell. Well, the CB website does advocate that the cream can be used for adult with sensitive skin. So no harm giving it a try.

Dor, glad to hear that mandy is getting better. As for your hormone change, I had dry skin on my face during my pregnancy also, I think the CB calendula cream can help cos its gentle enough for baby so should be gentle enough for pregnant woman as well.

think the trial you went is the globalplay program Im keen in. Sigh, JG better is it? Im hoping that JWT will be comparable, then it wont be a difficult choice for me. Cos I prefer JWTs location and timing to JG, but if JG program is much better, then I will be in a dilemma over which to choose.

have not gone for trial at JWT yet. Wanted to go this week since Im free, but its a break for them too, so maybe next week will chiong trial at JG and JWT gym.
