Wat i do is after washing my face, i will use the wet cloth to wipe my face. rem dun be too hard or too long. (my skin got v raw as I KS, wan to see results fast! haha)

I was reading your blog on the Learning Vision. Just wanna let u know that Lorna Whiston preschool satisfy all of those advantages you had listed down for LV. When you explore other schooling options for J next year, you can consider LW too
They are really good actually if you want a learning through play thematic environment in PG and N1. The teachers for S's PG are great... caring, patient, firm and observant.
For environment wise, fresh air is one main attraction. They are located in a small hill-top off alexandra road in a big compond with 2 colonial bunglow style houses. There is a room dedicated to be the music and movement cum speech n drama room where there is also musical instruments. The long carpark area in front of the colonial bunglow house can hold at least 10 cars i think. When school starts, the gates are closed so there is no cars... the kids will all be there in the morning... some doing PE, some doing rides/tricyles play, some in the playground (also within the compound). There is another area in the hill top that is dedicated to be the water play area ... the kids will play water over there. There is a little hutch housing 3 rabbits (one of which is a lop!!) and S would drop by to say bye to the rabbits each day when we fetches him home. Other activities are conducted in each level's individual classes which are self contained like those in JG. If its raining and they cant do outdoor play in the morning, there is this huge area where is lots of toys and kitchen and castle sets for the children to play in. All in all, I must say that its really a very beautiful and safe environment with rarely available fresh air since its located very much off the road and on top of a mini hill. I am contemplating placing J there next year... the two problem are I think there is a waitlist... they are very popular for people staying in that area. Right now, all their N1 classes next year are full already. Another prob is i think there are no PG in morning session from next year onwards cos they told me the N1 classes vv popular so they shift all the PG to afternoon to open up more N1 classes. I dun really like afternoon classes cos i think its v sleepy to do things in the afternoon and we are freshest in the morning.

Dear Mummies,
I cant find remember how many of you are going but there should be at least 15 families by now? Celeste, you still have the file? We have to add in rodeo.
The original plan was to have it hosted at Globetrotters at S$60.00 per family. However, after our sand play at the Changi Beach Club, many of us felt that it would be a perfect place for our Christmas Bash instead. The Beach Lodge Function Room (sea-view) is available and we will be entitled to Christmas Menu at members rate.
Their quotation is as follow.
S$28.00+ per adult
S$15.00+ per child aged 3 years old and above.
The prices is slightly dearer as compared to what Globetrotter has quoted but on the day itself, those attending the party could come early to enjoy the clubs facilities; private pool, beach, little tikes corner and etc.
Our financial statement would reads as follow if we were to host the party at the beach club. We would probably have to increase the budget to S$70 per pax. Estimation based on 15 families to go.
i. S$70 x 15 families = S$1050.00
ii. Food: (S$30 x 30 adults) = S$900.00
iii. Remaining S$150 Party entertainer?
Financial statement based on the original plan of hosting it at Globetrotters:
i. S$60 x 35 families = S$2,100.00
ii. Food: (S$20 x 70 adults) + (S$5 x 35 child) = S$1,567.00
iii. S$400 to Party Room
iv. Remaining S$133 - small presents for tots or spend on log cake?

no, he cant read out the alphabets. he can only recognises them, ie can point to them correctly when i ask him to identify them. see him perform? dat will hv to depend on his mood. the other day when out wif a fren, he stopped after identifying only 1 alphabet and showed unhappy face liao. keke..

I laughed as I read about the barney toy...haha.. So, did you get J the toy? Still remember the anxious look when G snatched it from him.

I got the set that looks like abc mats but think more suitable for older age coz G not interested to scribble on it. She only likes to take out the shapes or dismantle the whole thing..But one good thing is at least I know now that she knows some shapes coz one day she pointed at the triangle, square and circle and told me what they are with her "broken "language...c-cle, angle,guer...hehe...
