Trial class - at our tods age now... actually i dun think it's a good ideal for pte trial class anymore. They are sooo active and it's really v v difficult to control a whole new class where all tods running at diff directions. Today I am the only trial person in a class of 8. Zav was much much easier to manage as other kids were following the class format.

I think he's not very tall, maybe 77cm??? He's 12kg. Nowadays, i really cannot carry him for long time! My arms and back will break!

Thanks! Bray is very active and quite naughty! He shouted at me yesterday at BJG class, then the teacher says i shouldn't allow him to shout at me, says i pamper him... make me paiseh!

Bray has got temper leh! Now i began to have headache don't know how to handle him whenever he make noise! A week ago, i was out with him (just 2 of us) for 1st time w/o helper for 1-2 hrs! I'm almost gone crazy leh! If he lets me carry him, at least the only thing i need to endure is my backache and arms breaking but he refuses and want to roam about the shopping mall himself! Then he refuses to go when he's at the toys dept!

Hmm, i'm not sure leh. He hates it when the nurse ask him to lie down and pull his legs straight to take the measurement of height. He would struggle to get off! So roughly about 77cm I guess... Maybe on pics usually look like bigger boy.

yesterday at bjg class, teacher gave 2 bowl and 2 type of balls and wanted him to match and put the same type of balls in the same bowl. He just throw the bowl in any bowl and when i corrected him, he got pissed and shouted at me! so naughty rite?

eating - u wait loh... where got so good.
he also wants a share in our food... then when he is full, he wld wan to come down... climb on the highchair etc. not v peaceful one hor. haha

Usu I tell my boy ok 2 or 5 more minutes, then we go do whatever.

haha.. my boy sometimes when I call him to stop, he will stop turn, grin at me and continue walking/running away. maybe they think we are playing with them? catching??

See, even for this pic that i took, i actually run after him to snap you know? Then he purposely run in to our walk-in changing room and stand besides the clothes hanger and smile, very cheeky rite? Want to take him in nice spot or nice backgroud w/o any distraction is very diff!

maybe its not that they have temper but rather they are trying to get their message to us yet unable to communicate, being frustrated thus screaming/shouting became an outlet for them now?

Maybe! But my boy can't talk much now, how to understand what he wants. He just want his way out and those ways are usually not right. I've seen dvd lately. The PD says no matter if we don't understand them, we just tell him that we know what you trying to say, we understand what u trying to do. we know we know....ask us to repeat many times to reassure our kids. he says the kids will calm down and feel relieve that we know what he wants.

guess we have to be very patient with them now.
Interesting dvd, think it may work. I did that with my boy b4, asked him if he want this or that, slowly he calmed down and led me to what he wanted.

Does your child deliberately ignore you when you ask him not to do something? Try not to lose your temper if he does. At this age, making a big deal over little transgressions like pulling petals off a flower or spreading newspapers around the house may inspire him to test your limits even more. Ignore the minor infractions and save your lectures for really big no-nos like biting a playmate or pulling the dog's tail.

hee hee boys will always be boys... even until now, aaron doesnt want to follow instructions if he doesnt feel like it. He bullies his sister until she is so scared of him... when u ask her if she likes her kor kor, she will nod yes and then she will point to her hand and tell us that kor kor bite her. Now, she learns to self defend by biting back! *Faint*
Duff - yes u can call and check which class now allows trials.
I paid $35 and think it's 1hr 45mins bah. Dun miss the freeplay as their toys really fun! Haha. 1 side is. Mini house with kitchen, washing machine, iron etc. 1 side is an eaesl with brush and paint. Middle is blocks and puppets. Z loves the painting.

For me, i really think boys r much harder to take care of... aaron used to drive me so mad that i was so afraid to have a second one.... think i'll go mad soon if no3 turns out to be another naughty boy

Last time easier to distract. Now Z also dun wan other distraction. Tat's when the screaming war starts.
But usu at home-i use the do watever u like way. U wan to climb? Let u climb... If fall down, then u learn ur lessons.
Like switch- I let him meddle with it. I believe after awhile, it will no longer interest him. So now at home, he dun touch them at all. In sm class he will go meddle them, other parents stop him...so I stop him too. Then he get all fustrasted again.
But outside- can't be a public pest rite? Maybe my way also wrong as it cause him to be confuse!

Tinklebell, Totally agree with u. My elder girl is so much different from my boy. I always tell my hubby if I have this boy first I don't think I will hv the second one.
Boy r much harder to takecare, if I don give Zach wat he want he will start to scream and cry terrible..
Those mummies that hv boy 1st, will be much easlier if your number 2 is a girl, u will enjoy..

ya lor... until now, my elder boy is still v naughty! when he wakes up in the morning, he disturbs everyone and we have no peace despite us scolding him and even threatening to spank him! And he bullies his sister everyday until we get so mad with him. sometimes i wonder if he is feeling jealous that's why he is behaving like that or he's simply just naughty
