PD not sure what caused the UTI. The urine culture results would be out today. We stopped giving her panadol between 12am - 6am and her fever is back yet again. Haiz.

I read something that UTI was a cause of bacteria growth in the tract and one way is to ensure keep drinking fluid or something acidic would prevent the growth of the bacteria to hit the kidneys.

Don't noe.. a bit worried.. got to take another leave today to check on her.

ezra is not in top form... he is super sticky & cranky cos i think he is teething... not sure how he wld react to so many new faces!! his fever came back up again last nite.. not sure so really not sure i shld bring him along... if not i most likely come for a while just to meet with all the mummies & babies... but will see how...

hmmm what are some other signs of UTI.. ezra started having fever last sunday, cough also but by wed/ thur his fever is gone but yesterday morning fever returned in the night, day gone, last nite fever again, morning gone... fever was abt 38.8 last nite...

i think he is also teething, with a bit of running nose... his milk intake dropped, porridge also dont 1 much...

Mom_yam and Rach, thanks for the efforts put into organising the bash. Where did you both get the time and energy to do the collage, name tags and cupcakes?!? The only time I'm free is when I'm sitting in front of the comp, which is like a precious 1 or 2 hrs a day. Otherwise I'm super busy with my son and household chores....

Got him to sleep at 10.30am (whew!)... hopefully he'll wake up at 12pm, and we'll be on our way. Will bring along my video cam.

Ezrababy, her fever persisted though we had the pink normal panadol medication and nerufen (the orange) fever medication. Nothing unusual except with some smell when change her diaper. Yet, we thought she was heaty?

PD checked and decided to do a urine test since nothing can be found with exception to when she pressed on her lower abodominal, my girl cried badly.

Today results were out and found that e-coli bacteria were found n needed to use a stronger antibotics to treat as the e-coli bacteria is resistant to the current antibotics.

After 10 days, need to do another urine culture and an ultra scan as well.

Really wonder how she caught this.... except for tix careless mommy nv clean her properly. Haiz.

<font color="0000ff">Ezrababy</font> How is yr boy? Still having fever? Teething can cause low grade fever only. Suggest to bring him to see doc. On and off fever no good lei.

Can be cause by not properly cleaning of the private parts. Do not wipe up & dw using the same bb wipe. Also dampness can cause bacteria growth. E-coli are found in feaces. I use to get UTI very often. Passing urine can be v painful...

<font color="0000ff">Kolarie</font>, Don't blame yrself. Just give more H20 to drink to flush out the toxins.. Hope she gets well soon too.

thanks for concern... ya he is still having fever but strange thing is only in the night abt 3+am, will get up to feed him Carpol & by 7am or when he is awake, fever will be gone... has been like that for 3 nights liao.... actually his 2 cousins also went thru similar fever last week so i suspect its the same bug... their fever gone by day 5 so i am still counting down for ezra...

i know how your felt.. cos everytime ezra is sick, i wld feel so lousy...maybe its cos i never bf him longer... maybe i was very careless... but DH wld also encourage me & ask me not to see that... children falling sick is part & parcel of parenthood....

Apparantly i went back to collect the chart that i've done and the toy, the staffs throw away liaoz.. sob sob.. only the chart they manage to "save" back for me but they cant find the lego man..

Oh ya, so careless of me. No wonder when I left, I just felt that I have forgotten something. Dylan was holding onto the camera and happily walking around. he prob left it somewhere when he was tired of holding it not knowing that it would cost his mummy a few hundred bucks if you all have not 'saved' it.

Also, the lego man was not his. I dunno where he got it from, I really hope he did not take it from other babies. Prob from the play room. i know, it's quite funny. He was holding it all the time as though rightfully his. He even took it back from Jordan when Jordan found it on the floor. pardon him, kids at this stage do not know the meaning of 'care and share'

While I was in such a hurry to drive Dylan back worried that he will fuss a lot in the car seat on the way back coz it was one and half hours past his usual nap time, he surprised me by falling asleep in the car (something very rare)and did not wake up when I carried him from the car to his cot (even rarer). Really boost my confidence level of bringing him out on my own now, all thanks to the birthday bash.

i must explain my son's indecent behavior of trying to lift up Gabrielle's dress. He has a fetish for frill-like stuff and can sit below our dining table for a few min(that is long for him) fiddling with the frilly ends of the table cloth. he prob was captivated by the similar frills of gabrielle's dress and wanted to play with it. ha ha, mums of boys very poor thing, have to always account for our boys' actions. he would definitely have kissed Gabrielle on the cheek if she comes closer to him. well, he is 'trained'. Would kiss most people if they put their cheeks close to him and say 'kiss, kiss'

lastly, thanks all for making the event a memorable one! Now i'm game for more future outings like this but on the condition that the maids tag along....just kidding....

Wow.. hey, Dylan is very smart for creating OPPORTUNITIES to meet his new found girlfriend again. Probably they have discuss it and Dylan done it so he has another chance to see his darling again.

Sleeping - ya u r right, right after the party he went home and he slpt in his "tent" w/o us singing, reading him. I believe he has play too much in the play room.

Talking abt maid, my maid also had a good time playing with so many children. She comments ALL SO CUTE and she keep telling Isaac, "wow today you have a lot of frds playing with you har"

Thank you ALL OF YOU *BOW* w/o your support, i wont be able to have such a wonder party. Next time i will remember to get all the games in line. And Babies play 1st - mommy eat later logic.

don't worrie abt it.. i don't even remember.. yes bb gabrielle wud have kissed DYLAN too...she very not shy one.. too not shy sometimes make me worried.. she made my friend's children who are 2 yrs plus cried cos she came on to them too strong.. and they are scared of her!!!! since we stay so near next time i parkway i 'jio' you la.. i bring my bb there when we are bored at home to 'walk walk'.

So happy that you are having fun at the Baby bash. Wish I can be there. Think my boy would love it with sooo many jie jie and gor gor to play with.

Decided not to celebrate my boy birthday since the celebration is more of us(adults) than him. Will celebrate when he's older. Guess he will enjoy better. I will bring him to the zoo this weekend instead to 'celebrate'.

The cake is 3kg, blackforest flavour. 1kg is $32 and then artwork is another $20. And yes, it contains rum but can only taste in certain parts of the cake. I also have preggie guests and they still eat. Maybe you want to request them not to include rum in the cake? My relatives like the cake

I didnt take the triple choc coz they told me that the cake will turn out very small for 3kg. Cannot do the design I want.

I tried 3 pcs at the bakery, coffee, blackforest and lychee martini. My hb and I prefer blackforest coz we find that the lychee is abit 'ni' after a few mouthfuls.
