I'm interested in the babies n cream classes too, but only can go during weekend. Yah, prefer to go with Apr mommies too!

the pool party sounds like a great idea! where do you usually swim? i dun stay in condo so dun have luxury of private pool... unfortunately, i can only go during weekends, and i'm scared of public pools on weekends, soooo crowded!

my Leo gng for jab this friday. you know what, the last time he had vaccination, he didn't even flinch... got too much fats on his thigh liao, didn't even feel a thing! hopefully this fri will be the same, cos i so heartpain when he got his first jab, he cried so loudly!

OK,I've called. We can start a pte class if we have Min. 8 mommies (max. 10)
Course info:
Full package: $210 for 8 Sessions. however, we can go for 1 trial session at $26.25 1st b4 we decide if we want to sign up for all 8 sessions.
The studio is available this weekend at the following timing:
20/8/06 Sunday 10.15am to 11am
20/8/06 Sunday 5.15pm to 6pm
19/8/06 Saturday 5.45pm - 6.30pm (Tentatively available. To be cfm by B&C)
For those interested, pls list ur time slot. (We need to have 8 pax for the class) Once we can gather 8 pax, I will call to make reservation.

the nearest public pools i can think of would be the Yio Chu Kang or the Ang Mo Kio one. can't wait to take my boy swimming for the first time!

Like Tiffany, I oso interested in the pool party but dun knw how to get the swimming attire for my boy especially my boy seems to be quite small in built. However, I dun really like gg to public pool, I would prefer gg to Safra which I always go. Much cleaner than the public pool.
 
i brought nix to my aunt's condo for pool fun.. i can ask her is it ok to have pool party there.. she has a daughter who is 1 yr plus... she can join us too.. she's staying at signature park at Jln Jurong Kechil (upper bukit timah).

Or anyone has ideal pool to go?

For baby boys' attire, i got it from Kiddy Palace.. it is big but no choice lor cos dun want him to catch cold.. somthing to cover his body is good...

Mrs Ho - I took up the package from True Yoga. I've tried CC ones.. but then no use lei. Find True Yoga better more stretching and there's some good results *wink*

Recently i realise that my son only plays extremely happily & crazy with my maid. My F.I.L very upset (Jealous), keep complaining to me. But i'm fine with the idea hahaha! coz' i need one that will loves my bb and kw how to handle one.

I got a swimming attire for Keith liao during the motherhood fair...a bit KS hor..kekek....now waiting to bring him for a swim only but he is down with slight flu. so still waiting n waiting...

momyam, I tried the ergo carrier at hunniepot house liao...think I will go ahead to buy. but the BP like bo sen li leh....any idea where else got sell huh? dont know I can wait or not...now my shoulder very suan from carrying a 7kg and a diaper bag...need to let my tummy do the work a bit...can burn fats at the same time! kekeke...

I m using P3 too! love it...very sturdy. even my mum commented that it is good but a bit on bulky side but very comfy for our baby wor. my friend bou combi and in the end, she said her 6mths old son too cramp inside, no room for movement. she bou a new P3 recently and very happy with it!

Oh great! The number is growing. Looks like most prefer sunday 10.15am slots... quick quick, i want to close this thing liao... preferably can make reservation by today. Mummies, pls dun back out hor... I am really ON for it and gonna call when the number hit 8!

ET.. only for 1 parent lei.. i also have to ask hubby go shop shop and wait for me, its only 45-60mins nia. For the gd of both mummy & bb, hb can do it one lah.

Yep.. I met ET few wks back while shopping at bb dept. Keith was sleeping so soundly... ZZZZZzzzzz... while my Lucas was busy people watching and sucking his hands. PP is spacious and comfy. Lucas also always fall asleep in it while we push him. he can sleep thru'out our outing in the stroller.

I guess u go yishun safra, right? i used to stay in woodlands before i got married so i know abt yishun safra... now i move to sengkang, my hubby told me we can go tampines safra... but i've been there b4 and don't remember seeing bb pool.

so coincidence, i just return her on Sat (camel col). i decided to buy later on since it is too big for my son and he dun like it. I try to pop his body higher and he is ok. so i think he needs to grow abit bigger

Yes, I always go to Yishun Safra for swimming. The environment is not bad plus the pools are cleaner than the public pools.

is Yishun safra still very crowded on Sun afternoon? I remember q for shower also very long.
i stop going there since Mt Faber opens but Yishun is more fun for kids.

Momyam, Thanks. I just called her, will rent for a wk to try. Luckily she stay near my place so very convenient! I'm on leave on Thu & Fri so I can try out fully on these 2 days....targetting to go taka sale with the carrier....

i find it good and very easy to use. Very stable as well just too sad too big for my boy and my boy neck still wobbly.
 
tiffany - swimming stuff
i got the swimming floaty thing from toys r us but you can prob get it at any dept store. we don't use a swimming diaper for K cos we only put her in the pool for 30mins max and she usually doesn't poo in the afternoons anyway, little bit of baby pee in the pool is ok anyway hahahaha

if you're afraid of your boy's skin getting exposed to the sun, you can prob try getting those one-piece wetsuit things, otherwise maybe just swimming shorts?

1st time you bring him down, i suggest u just carry him close to your body as he may get a shock from the cool water. just relax and gauge his reaction. perhaps you can introduce the float the 2nd time. that's what we did. the 2nd time, she wasn't really in a gd mood (just woke up from nap, a bit blur still) so she didn't really enjoy the float. subsequent times were ok, as you can see from the photo i posted

it's great that now they are allowing you to form a class!! last time i called they said they were re-arranging all the slots and couldn't offer that. would love to join you all but can't do w/ends

looks like th feedback for the PP P3 is very good!! checked out the specs for it, it's very similar to my Graco in terms of weight and features and in fact, looks more padded. as i mentioned, 6.8kg is manageable but that depends on your build and strength. goo dluck with your stroller hunt!! pls feel free to PM me if you want to discuss strollers some more, i'm v kaypoh!!

I'm interested in the bb yoga. But can arrange in the afternoon? My girl dun wake up so early. She will wake up 7plus to 8am, drink milk then go back to sleep until 11plus to 12noon. It will be nice if there is classes at 3pm.

Normally, I go early morning. Lesser crowd and not so hot. Yup, agreed that the Yishun baby pool is more fun. There r slides oso. Most likely, I think I will bring my boy go swimming after the 7th mth. I quite pantang esp during the 7th mth ;)

Lucas lao sai 6 times yday lei... wonder has it got to do with teething? he starts to bite anything he gets hold on his hands and drool quite alot these days. Also, he cant finish his 150ml of milk yday for all the feeds. anyone knows or has similar symptoms?

dun know abt 2nd 7th mth lah but i heard one of the 7th mth is so called fake one just the rotating of the calender but who knows right? I rather believe both mths are real lor.

u re rite. I read from newspapers on this geomancer tat says only the first 7th month is real. The second 7th month is a fake one as in lunar calendar, they need to offset the numbers somehow.. something like tat.. dun really understand on the calculation part.

Tiffany, has Lucas lately changed his diet? Or go for any injection or any sort?
