how long will the session last?
Cant remember who asked about the BP of flash cards in the marketplace.. that is not organised by me... got the flash cards from that BP too (im extremely kiasu huh?) but found it a little too small for my liking leh..
I dont have the pics of the flash cards from the instructor.. but it is white background with red words... he has maths, english and chinese flashcards.. think he does japanese and malay flashcards too

The instructor was saying that you can ceate your own flash cards too.. just use white cardboard paper, and use a red marker and write words on it.. but think this requires quite abit of time and effort..

Hi Evon,
I think the saloon is good 'cos the hair stylist was patient and talked to my girl all the times throughout the haircut. My hubby holds on my gal while she cut. Well, at least Jaslynn didn't cry at all throughout the whole haircut. I think it is $18. I just got the name from my friend : Junior League.
Twinkle-Starry, they got branches at Suntec, United Square, Plaza Singapura and Parkway Parade and Pargon

Shave once should be fine. I tink if we shave bb's eyebrow, it will grow like Cecilia Cheung, the HKG actress. My maid told me in Indonesia, all new born's eye lashes will be trimmed therefore they have long eye lashes.

I'm very cheapskate, my bb haircut costs me $4 nia... ...I also bring my son to the same hair salon, $5...cheap cheap, heehee

Me going to bring bb for haircut on 30 Jul. My mum said that is her 4th mth birthday in lunar calendar. Then must take some fish and meat to gently rub her lips. It signifiy that bb can eat meat liao. Not sure where my mum get all these theory.

dun worry, maybe it's just a temporary thing? i know sometimes it can happen when you are tired/stressed/anxious. abt 1mth ago, i was also v worried one day cos i pumped and didn't even get 80ml! luckily, it went back to normal the next day.

Mandy, i also very cheapo hahah... i cut my bb's hair at $7 but is at loyang pt - pasir ris hee. the lady also pretty nice but my boy was sleeping so very lucky for me. I'm very reluctant abt the eye brow and eye lash. i so regret i didnt shave his eye brown then.

U all ve heard b4 that bbs of less than 1 year old should not watch TV programmes???
My hb's colleague's PD told her tat le. He suggested 2 her if want bb learn is to read to her books or use flashcards methods etc..
Hmmmm.. How?? I bought "Baby Can talk" VCD series n ve shown her a couple of times already... Thank goodness she won't sit still for more than 10 minutes.
But hor.. she likes to watch Power Puff girls le.. My hb watched with her last weekend and she was giggling at some point of time while watching le????

Shave:
I wish to shave bb hair & eyebrow @ 1 month. But IL side don’t allow cos don’t know what their rules & regulation, must keep bb hair to “pi xie”. First time I heard about it.
Then my parent side keep asking y never shave bb hair?????? Really make me “chuo you wei nan”.
They said if we shave bb hair till botak, bb will be very clever. That’s mean bb will be stupid lor if never shave. Haizzzzzzz

Yeah, we oso have to put marrie biscuit around. But, I never heard about $$, heard only the biscuit is to prevent bb saliva.

Just to inform you gals try not to mentioned about those celebration in front of your bb. Cos they very pantang.
For my case, we keep saying she going to celebrate full month (1 month), at last she had fever till 39+. Really scare us.
Now, we dare not to mentioned in front of bb anymore.

My in law not allow bb watch tv le...as and when bb turn her head to watch tv....they try to block her...
maybe will have eye problem bah....i oso dont know...

cannot watch tv huh? my boy like to watch leh. he will self adjust his head if e block him and there is cartoon or show going on. of cuz his attention span is short but he will still watch.
Since he like to watch i let him watch the baby bumble bee series in the morning to self entertain while i work. Oh no..how ya

me!! me using NUK teats too..i also changed frm using the small to medium and also facing the same situation as u leh..always left 1oz of milk..i just bought the Farlin nipple puncher n i'm trying out to see if it works..will keep u updated by end of 2day.

oooo... rach, our boy born on the same day and face the same situation... heeheee.... think I will change the teats to medium size and will wait for your update. However, when he's w/ my mum, he can drink quite fast leh and the teats are the same as the one at home. He can sleep very well when he's w/ my mum. Arggg....
