confused - in that case, are you gg to test for your sugar level resistance? btw, you mention your blood type is rare. is it blood grp AB? my frd is AB and her hubby is also AB and yes she have to take injection and she said she will only give birth to one. as for the next baby, she will need to go for more injections if she want.
hi all. back from TMC..and met up with the dietician. It is quite good..went thru my day to day meals intake and advise frm there. went to ntuc and stock up some food as well. hopefully can reduce my sugar level. next mon will be on mc, need to see my gynae for a full day test again. till then will know if my diet works!
ok for a tip to those who are having GD as well..
1) Breakfast - recommended 2 slices of wholemeal bread with thinly spread magarine NOT butter. Or i can spread with Tuna in water NOT oil. i didnt know got tuna soak with water. jsut realised ayam brand even have tuna soak with mineral water. haha... Oh and top up with Anmum milk since i am drinking that brand.
2) Tea break - Julie's wheat biscuit. 1 pack. No soft drink if really want...diet coke. other recommended drinks are oolong tea from pokka which is w/o sugar. hot beverages ok without milk and sugar. add equal sugar to sweeten.
3) Lunch - if order cai fan - no gravy!! one meat with no skin and fat + veg + toufu/egg. top up with one serving of fruit.
4) Dinner - soup based food. avoid fried noodles, rice, coconut stuffs.
and another serving of fruit.
FINALLY, exercise everyday for 30 mins. a stroll is good enough. this is somethg i don;t do at all. hehee..
Actually i find the consultation very good. I know what is better to eat and not. help to control my diet. dietician said avoid fried stuffs as the oil they use are not healthy and high in cholestrol.
Ok, so frm now on...my healthy diet starts! Those who do not have GD should also try to keep close to the diet plan. Its good for yourself.
