Have not tried the Shokudu at RC basement. sigh, doubt i will try that since my hb has left his job. not so convenient anymore.
You're quitting your job? Actually changing childcare/kindergartens are quite common leh. They're still young and will forget easily. I remember changing a few kindergartens myself when i was a kid. Only when at primary school, then the issue have to be dealt with more carefully.
I had a classmate who committed suicide at primary 5 coz her parents wanted to shift her to the afternoon session. That time got no such thing as counselling, can't even remember how our class got thru the trauma.
I think if JH is to choose between having mummy at home and staying in the same childcare, he'll definitely choose you.

Thank you mummies for all the support and overwhelming response for the DUCKtours. I've contacted the girl whom I spoke with 3 weeks back and found out that she's no longer with the company (her name is Deborah). And after speaking to the collleague who took over her (Heather), I've found out the following which was not communicated back to me despite my repeatedly asking:
1) newborns, infants, or bbs are still counted as per 1 pax on board the craft. This is due to them following LTA regulations. So whether they are carried or occupy one seat, they are still counted as per head.
2) Therefore per craft can carry up to 31 heads regardless of age (newborn - 99 years old)
3) I will highlight the affected families in <font color="ff0000">Red</font>. Kindly let me know the soonest possible if you still want to proceed on or not.
I really apologize for this that it was not communicated properly back to me, I should have called instead of relying on email.

Thank you mummies for all the support and overwhelming response for the DUCKtours. I've contacted the girl whom I spoke with 3 weeks back and found out that she's no longer with the company (her name is Deborah). And after speaking to the collleague who took over her (Heather), I've found out the following which was not communicated back to me despite my repeatedly asking:
1) newborns, infants, or bbs are still counted as per 1 pax on board the craft. This is due to them following LTA regulations. So whether they are carried or occupy one seat, they are still counted as per head.
2) Therefore per craft can carry up to 31 heads regardless of age (newborn - 99 years old)
3) I will highlight the affected families in <font color="ff0000">Red</font>. Kindly let me know the soonest possible if you still want to proceed on or not.
I really apologize for this that it was not communicated properly back to me, I should have called instead of relying on email.

Finally went for gynae appt ytd and met my little one the 1st time after 11 weeks
I was very anxious and up tight initially about this suprise pregnancy but felt very warm when I saw him/her via the ultra sound the little head, little body and heart beat!

I also have her registered for Maris Stella but that is for afternoon slot. What did you like about St Joseph? I haven't been to view the place yet.
Another place that my friends say is good is Bukit Panjang Methodist which is besides Rail Mall at Upper Bukit TImah, abit further from St Joseph.
My only dilemena right now is whether to let S continue with N2 next year at the CC that she is in right now and move her only in 2010 for K1, since she really adores the place and her friends and teachers, or bite the bullet and transfer her to the nursery at the Kindi of my choice so that she can just spend N2, K1 and K2 (3 years) there and won't be so distressed since I move her when she is young. 3. Declan - unfortunately, he breaks outs into a rash when he uses Cali BB, so we are using Cetaphil now on him.
Btw, has anyone noticed that the new batch of Cali BB body wash is of a darker colour now? I wonder if its a change of ingredients which irritated Declan's skin....

I've contacted the girl whom I spoke with 3 weeks back and found out that she's no longer with the company (her name is Deborah). And after speaking to the collleague who took over her (Heather), I've found out the following which was not communicated back to me despite my repeatedly asking:
1) newborns, infants, or bbs are still counted as per 1 pax on board the craft. This is due to them following LTA regulations. So whether they are carried or occupy one seat, they are still counted as per head.
2) Therefore per craft can carry up to 31 heads regardless of age (newborn - 99 years old)
3) I will highlight the affected families in Red. Kindly let me know the soonest possible if you still want to proceed on or not.
I really apologize for this that it was not communicated properly back to me, I should have called instead of relying on email.

How far away is your place to the playgroup? My MIL has a maid to assist her, but when the maid was new, this is wat my MIL had to do daily:
1) 10.25am - bring Meg to playgroup across the road. MIL will carry my (at that time) 4-5mths old niece along cos can't leave her alone with new maid. Meg can walk on her own and MIL will hold her hand when crossing the road. If rains very heavily, Meg will jus skip school for the day.
2) 10.30am - return home
3) 11.15am - walk 15mins to the church to pick up younger nephew with the baby.
4) 12.20pm - bring younger nephew, baby and maid along to pick Meg up.
It takes alot of juggling and very hectic for my MIL but she managed. I have to applaud her for being able to handle so many kids. There is an older nephew too, but he's in after school care and return only at 6pm.
Discuss with your mum and see if she can handle. By the time you return to work, baby will be around 3mths old, quite easy to bring out and Jamie will also be older and easier to handle cos next year our kids will be 3 years plus liao.
Of cos CC will be the best alternative but if your mum is not comfy, how about getting a maid to help her instead? Transfer the cost of the CC to getting a maid.

pear soap sells at unity but it's abt 2.85 there. the medical hall at my place (the one near kopitiam) sells at 1.60. it shd be ok for babies. this was recommended by Dr Khor. She said a lot of pple dunno that the soap is actually quite good. if not, u can try latacyd. she also thinks latacyd is good.

i also use those jasmine buds to bathe him to stop the itch.

Can always get a relaxing job that pays just as well if not better. Sometimes it's the company (or department) work culture that makes the difference.
That time my hb and I were in the same company but different departments. I felt so stressed up by my ex-boss coz she everything also wanna chup. Whereas my hb had a very easy time in his dept coz his boss is more easy going. And he earned more than me!!!

I checked out St Joseph's, Gracefields, and BT Panjang Methodist Kindergarten. BPMK is good but they don't have N1 (pre-nursery), so no point considering it so soon. I like St Joseph's compound. Am pretty impressed by it. But then again, i also just found out that Janelle can actually stay on with Little Pals till just before she turns 4 yrs old, so i might just stay on considering it's so nearby and don't need schoolbus.

3. sysac - Deciding btwn St Joseph's Church & Appletree
4. tabbiesus - accepted into maris stella already. Just did the registration last week. Will start nursery next year. And will continue there for kindergarten.
5. durianlover - St Joseph or stay on 1 more year with Little Pals where she's attending currently

I checked out St Joseph's, Gracefields, and BT Panjang Methodist Kindergarten. BPMK is good but they don't have N1 (pre-nursery), so no point considering it so soon. I like St Joseph's compound. Am pretty impressed by it. But then again, i also just found out that Janelle can actually stay on with Little Pals till just before she turns 4 yrs old, so i might just stay on considering it's so nearby and don't need schoolbus.

I also called up St James Kindergarten some weeks back and was shocked that the waiting list was already 30+ long! So i gave up...haha. Anyway it's really a bit too far for me.

oh my..you guys are already talking abt kindergarden? C is not yet in school lei. i only plan to enrol him N1 next yr as the one opp my home does not have enough intake for playgrp this year. i cannot think of having another kid. this couple of days, C is down with flu and cough and hasn't been sleeping well. the past 2 nights, C was cranky and awaken many times. hb has to carry him and put him down after he sleep and awhile later he will start again. haiz. was so sleepy this morning that i nearly want to take leave.

wow, how u carry 2 at the same time? u must take good care of your body. i realise each pregnancy really not easy on a woman's body so we must take good good care of ourselves....when is your EDD?

my hb really quite busy now and he is quite sian. everytime he gets meetings at 6+ etc. i tihnk he is just tired out so he wants a break. that time he even said when he quit his job he will rest for 3 months during my ML. i almost want to faint. i told him 1 month good enough liao..haha dun stay at home and bother me too much...
but hor, he is thinking of taking huge pay cut...i think my MIL will faint. when i express intention to stop working or go PT, she already cannot take it. if her son goes to Mac, i think she will sure faint.

i also haven check out kindergarten yet. but i may go to a church one nearby cos much cheaper.
yup sent off the old one liao. i think she kind of expecting that we will send her off ard this time. the new one just came. looks alright to me but need to observe esp JH's reaction towards her.
i did feel a bit awkard but not really bu she de cos she wanted to go back very suddenly and her heart also not really here. i actualyl feel quite 'traumatised' by the whole thing cos we had to make so many arrangements behind her back. i can't have her suspecting that i going to send her off cos she alone with JH right...so i really want to consider doing without a maid in 2 years time i hope.
this morn did some simple housework myself. i told hb i feel so useful. if he scales down his expectations, maybe we can do without a maid.
