Gosh so many postings! I haven't log in for 1 day and I am reading 2 archives thread!

I have emailed you regarding the mid-autumn.
re: SAHM or FTWM
Currently, I don't need I need to be a SAHM cos my mum's taking care of Charmaine and is doing a real good job. Basically I have no worries when I am at work. Besides, I think bbies' needs at this stage is still relatively simple. I planned to be SAHM only when Charmaine's older, i.e. 5 yrs old or more.
For my case, I guess I was very fortunate. I was taken care of by a nanny - my grandaunt. She's real nice and takes great care of me. She has 6 children and they really doted on me. I can still remember that whenever they come back from school, they will bring me to the playground or buy me sweets even though they don't really have a lot of pocket money in the first place. For me, it's really like having 2 families doting on me. It's real amazing that I didn't turn out spoiled. : ) Subsequently, when my mum had her third child, she quitted her work and stayed at home to work after us. I guess you can only see the effects years after when we are all grown up. Every week, without fail, my family would have dinner together at least twice. It used to be only 5 of us. Now that both I and my sister are married, and my brother has a steady girlfren, we still maintain the same practice. I know that it really warms my parents' hearts to have family dinners with 10 pple and I know also that their frens are actually envious.

I agree with all the mummies who have contributed their thoughts. Maids, especially Indon ones, really care only about themselves and not the fact that they are here to find work. Just give on the day notice that she's supposed to go and watch her pack her things and send her straight of to agency. If possible, maybe give a day or 2 break in b/w and care for Celeste before the new maid comes in, if you and hb can take leave. All the stories of maids are really horrible.

Bad news. Our spinach cannot be delivered tmr morning (Fri) becos of the recent E.Coli scare in USA, the AVA has retained all fruit and veg coming from abroad for tests. Our spinach can only be delivered next Monday or Tuesday (WILL UPDATE U GUYS AGAIN). Which means, there won't be any distribution on 23/9 at Tabb's gathering. You'll have to collect from
Pasir Ris or
Robinson Road or
One Raffles Link or
a mummy's place in central (for mummies in the north and west? anyone wants to help distribute?)

Your advice abt wiping the bird everyday came too late...cos yesterday after reading your post, i checked and realised that Ryan has been biting the paint off. YES! Ryan does that too. When we bottle feed him, he will pinch the teat of bottle and when i BF him, he will pinch my nipples....so funny cos once he squeeze and the milk squirted out!

That too! Our bb can shake hands...both come from same school. Ryan used to think it was funny to bite me. So i smack his backside and he still look and smile at me. So i smack hard and used a stern tone of voice...i think that frightened him and he cried as though I beat him real bad.....I tell you, in the end it was me who was crying cos I so heart pain to see him so sad and i kept apologising and huggin him....sigh, this incident made me realise i am likely to spoil him cos i dunno how to discipline him. But he has stopped biting...

wah..what a tiring but fruitful day. great meeting all the mummies today. Caleb and myself have great fun and thank GOD for the good sunny weather
mamachan- after i dropped you off, Caleb was crying and after a while..i think he is very tired..he dozed off at his car seat till i reached my mum's place. haha..was telling hb that its a blessing you can drive and frankly i am quite tired bringing him out alone....i think i am not as 'zai' as you and some mummies..i will need more practise. hee..

Sign... Zachary never go out much cause due to me and my hubby jobs. Sat working or sometimes even weekdays stay in overseas (So Sundays usually very very precious). Really think whether it is worth it anot. Like weekend parents.

Our spinach can only be delivered next Mon or Tuesday (WILL UPDATE U GUYS AGAIN). Which means, there won't be any distribution on 23/9 at Tabb's gathering. You'll have to collect from Pasir Ris or Robinson Road or One Raffles Link.

Haiz..yesterday duno what hapeen to sumo.. i think he wanted to sleep .. or not enough sleep.. maybe yesterday was too hor that is why he can't sleep..

had alot of fun yesterday at botanic gardens outing... it was fun chaos, and we had alot of fun letting the babies share and snatch toys and mow each other down... (those crawling babies that is!) We had fun yesterday with so many babies this time round. Very chaotic esp during phototaking. Will try to post some pics tonite. It is quite a funny sight to see the babies playing around with each other & snatching the toys. Too bad we got to leave early to fetch my hubby.

Bad news. Our spinach cannot be delivered tmr morning (Fri) becos of the recent E.Coli scare in USA, the AVA has retained all fruit and veg coming from abroad for tests. Our spinach can only be delivered next Mon or Tuesday (WILL UPDATE U GUYS AGAIN). Which means, there won't be any distribution on 23/9 at Tabb's gathering. You'll have to collect from Pasir Ris or Robinson Road or One Raffles Link.
Can you please re-indicate your collection method. Also can PM or email me your email adresses so I can update you of any further changes. Thanks!!!!

Urgh !! So envy the babies can play with each other. Will want to meet up with u all one of the outing. Can meet somewhere more centralised? I can only go with jamie as hubby and my mum is not into this kind of outing.

So good, so many babies can crawl so well. Jamie is still dragging herself. Dun lift up her body one. But she can hold onto something and stand up. My mum told me some babies dun crawl, they will skip crawling and go straight into walking. Sigh.. I shall start a poll on development.

Hi Mommies,
I think ti's true that the more babies interact with other babies, the more sociable they become... I'd witnessed this with Shannon... she used to be a grouchy and grumpy and shy baby... (well, she still is lah..) but she is much better nowadays with strangers than before. I think bringing her out often helps... when we placed Shannon's n Ethan's prams together, they looked at each other, and each reached out a hand almost instantly..I think they know each other.

Thanks all mummies for your comments and suggestions.. had conveyed them to Hb tat its a NO to giving early notice.. he knows wat we will be in for but i guess he is too filial to say NO to his parents... hopefully all will turn out well... thanks for being so supportive mummies!

WOW... it reali was fun yest except tat i gt myself lost and walked a big round before meeting the other mummies... the stupid bride at the main entrance was blocked thus i went the longer way...
