On Feeding Solids - I've not been really successful... 3 days back i gave her potato and she took well for 1 night. Next day - dun want liao.. yesterday not even 1/4 tsp she spit out and cried.. sigh. I called PD - they say slowly. be patient.. I dunno how to be patient.. I'm worried not enuf iron for her and my BM ss drop so much...

Jenifur: I let my boy mingle with my friends, relatives and friends bb lei. Sometimes he is ok but sometimes maybe he dun like the person so he will cry lor. I can't come for the gathering as I have another appointment. Next time!

Fushiastar: My boy should be at least 8 kg liao. Mine is the opposite of your gal. He likes the veg and finished the heinz one in 2 days. In fact I think he seems to enjoy his solids compared to my bm...

I've just bought a jar of Gerber puree Carrot. tot of mixing with the cereal to feed him. any mummies bought this to try? saw sweet potato and spinach (from heinz) but didnt buy. Any other purees that mummies have tried and ur BBs love it?

oo.. i went to the official opening of the cathay.. really nice and impressive! took pics with "V" if u know who i mean. on top of tt, tts like my first time seeing fireworks in a building.. really.. really nice.. free drinks.. free food.. lolz! cheapo huh! we have free movie passes.. so can u imagine.. u walked to the food counters.. u get free ice cream.. popcorns.. mints.. and not forgetting.. ben and jerry's ice cream.. hehe.. all free!!~~ cheapo mummy!

Mummies,
Help! my bb has been waking up frequently for the past week causing me to be seriously sleep deprived. He will wake up every hrly or 2 hrly not for food. I bf him thinking he might be hungry but he dun seem interested to drink. He will be awake for 1 -2 hrs before he goes back to sleep again. He used to wake up only for his feed twice a night and will go back to sleep lei. Anyone of your bb went thru this phase?

my boi also like that. Usually he can sleep throughout the nite or if not, only once a nite for milk, then will sleep almost immed after the feeding.But for the past wk, he seems so awake after after the nite feed! me also so deprived of sleep until now!! dunno wat happened also leh...my hubby said could be teething but so early? my boy only 5mth old.

ez: try to keep bb awake for at least 3 hours before letting bb to zzz. if bb got difficulty in getting a good nite sleep, maybe the last feed u try to intro FM istead.

mine oso the same, most of the times she zzz to abt 5-6am then wake up, now she wakes up at 2.30 and again at 5.30am for feed. dunno isit she drinks too little...

Justanum & Carole: My boy naps 1-2 hrs 3 times in the day. In between his nap, the interval is about 2 - 2.5 hrs. If I try to extend the interval, sometimes he will get cranky.
At night he usually sleeps at abt 8+ or 9+. The past week he will wake up at 12+ am, again at 2+, 4+ and 5+. His last feed before his night sleep is usually ard 7+ pm. I tried to squeeze in a feed on one day at 9pm just before he zzzz and he woke up only twice. But sometimes his last feed and the time he wants to zzz is too close so I dun give him any more feed.
In the middle of the night, I tried to give him FM instead hoping he will not wake up so soon but then again after 2 hrs, he is awake and full of energy! He can stay awake for 1 - 2 hrs before he falls asleep again. OMG!
I am wondering if it is becos he might be teething soon.

my baby also like that for the past 1 week...only last 2 days it got better...i'm also sleep deprived (got panda eyes liao)...i think they must be teething and feel uncomfy. i'm quite sure this phase will pass very soon...if most of us going through this, i guess it must be normal at this stage.
