Hey guys, wanted to check if anyone has good recommendations for prenatal genetic testing in JB because they offer significantly more value than those in SG.
I’m currently looking at a package from Klinik Caring (Ultimate)
Price seems reasonable, but I realised:
- The microdeletion panel is quite limited (only 5 vs some tests offering 90-110+)
- The lab seems to be Gene Solutions (Vietnam), not sure about CAP certification / lab standards
I’m trying to find a better option in JB that:
1. Covers more microdeletions (ideally expanded panel)
2. Still includes single-gene (monogenic) screening
3. Has expanded carrier screening (>18 genes)
4. Uses a clearly CAP-certified lab (or equivalent standard)
Main reason is maternal age 35 and paternal age 41, so I want to cover both chromosomal risk + de novo single-gene risk.
If anyone has done something similar or has a clinic/lab recommendation in JB, would really appreciate it
