well, i must say, i've been really busy...washing bottles, feeding Samuel, pumping milk, blah blah blah...neverending...don't even have time to lie down and rest...my legs are even swollen (water retention) from standing too much...

jenifur: yeah!!! hope you're coping well too...Samuel's fine...he's still learning to latch onto me...he did it the first time this morning but only on 1 side with a nipple shield...haha..maid coming only in 2 days' time...hubby already very helpful...just that i cannot stop working leh...

celine: oh yes, he was very alert since birth..he looked around and only slept a long time after we got pushed into our ward leh...i felt pain because the contraction pain was at minimum...i think for those who experience strong contraction pains may not feel the epi injection...

i also have short nipples and gynae and nursery nurses did say that its abit difficult for baby to latch on.
I only used cold cabbage once cos the engorgement really hurting me. Tried expressing using pump yesterday and got more BM but still very little. But today managed to latch Brennan and BF him
Very happy when i saw him suckling. But it is after a "battle" between him and me and hubby. But only once, after that i tried, he buay song liao.
Most of the baby care is taken care of by my MIL and hubby cos i'm still hurting from my c section wound. duno when it will get better but hopefully soon. Having sore back now.(probably trying to help them cos i really want to participate in caring for baby too)
Wondering why i am posting when CL not here yet. Haiz. just got a call from her today that she cant come tomorrow cos she has skin rash!! Though she recommended me someone else, I am very upset cos I have been waiting for tomorrow cos i know she will be able to take care of me very well. I already missed the crucial first week of important confinement care by professional (probably resulting my sore back) and was hoping to get some rest for myself and hubby so that we can learn to be better parents. Now all hopes crashes. And to add on, she may not be able to do full month for me cos she has another assignment on 3 nov (provided the lady didnt deliver earlier) Just hope that she is really good in caring for me. Thought my post natal blues will end tomorrow.

Can u actually feel the stitches? i cant leh.. i cant even find the wound as i try to apply the Antiseptic! the nurse onli told me the wound should be on the right side, so just dap on the right lor

Sneaky aka little samuel mummy: drink black bean drink. It helps and my WR have reduced by 3rd day.
re: expressing BM
anyone know how to increase BM? by expressing frequently at close interval hrs can help? I noticed my BM getting lesser and lesser and I did not get any engorgement leh ... so sad

regarding MC for ML, how should we state the date?

I am currently starting my wk 38. I have been suffering from aching joints in my fingers every morning for the past 6 weeks. In the past week, joints in my knees started to hurt when I get up from the squatting position. Do anyone of you suffer from these aches? I am really not sure if these are normal aches of pregnancy. If yes, have these aches stopped after you have given birth? What can we do to relieve these aches?

I also got nose bleed last week.. but mine I duno is it related to my running nose.. cos when I blow my nose, the "pi ti" will have blood inside..

can u bent your knee ? or u notice that your knee is swollen ? if so i think it is not water retention... ask your gynae to recommend you to see neurologist. can be reumatic or somthing else. if so then the neurologist will have to draw the fluid out from your knee and u will feel much better after that. that's happen to me when i am 5.5 months preggy.

fun: well, at least i got my son's virgin suckle using the shield..still working hard to train him...he still scream like there's no tomorrow when i try to latch him on...so sad...
