i thot it was all right for them to be trained in the cc too until Cody mentioned that the teacher will make all kids pee into the same potty (at one of the cc she visited) before she empties it. Eeekkksss!
Then again, maybe not all cc are like that but i remain skeptical.

personally, feel its better to pt our kid before enrolling in a cc. cos the teacher might not be as attentive n kancheong as us..hehe.. the teacher has to attend to many other kids other than our own 'centre of universe'..
to me, it can be a traumatic transistion for a child to go to a cc, let alone adding the additional 'trauma' n stress of learning to be potty-trained. just my 2cents worth..

The last 2 items I bought from Toys R Us. kekeke. ELC has the lacing wooden toys set too - shapes and alphas designs but I find the one at Toys R Us nicer with more items to teach.

I bought a walker for Shannon from ELC. I know she is a little too old for that but cannot resist lah. Wanted to get before but it was selling at $110 !!! Now less than $50.
Anyway Shannon quite happy pushing it around....hehe

if its playgroup in a KINDERGARTEN, they will NOT help to potty train cos the teacher-student ratio there is higher. most kindergartens require that your child is fully toilet trained before they accept your enrollment.
another thing to note abt childcare / kindergarten toilet hygiene:
if they have kiddy toilet bowls etc, need to make sure that they flush / pour water into the urinal after each kid pees.
another friend said the kindy that her daughter attended - teacher flushed only after many many kids had peed into it. yikes!
can't imagine *myself* peeing into a urinal full of others' pee, much less asking my child to do so (esp if its a girl!)

PT cleaner: my hubby was against it initially. but after tried for few wks he now agrees that PT cleaner really help a lot and he can have more time to rest.
haiz.... natalie is sick since friday night. fever, cough + running nose! this is the first time she got cough + running nose lei. PD kept reminding me not to let nat go near didi or enter didi's room. I must wash my hands and change clothes b4 carry didi. I was so worry that i didnt carry didi at all for the past 2 days when nat is at home. luckily got CL, else dunno wat to do. Only manage to carry him this morning since nat is at nanny's place now.
poor natalie too, she got a bit confuse how come mummy dont let her go into didi room nor get close to didi. can see she is quite upset abt it, make me so guilty... haiz....

is it the blue one with removable 'basket' and comes with a toy bear? hehe.. its now use to 'transport' my 3.5yr old niece n nephew when they come over to play..

potato finally into pretend play so got her a bb stroller n doll accessories..
so cute to see her push the doll around in the stroller, feed it, pat it, cuddle it,
bath n put lotion on it and even seat the doll on the dolls potty. (she also insist the doll to be by her side when she herself is on the potty)
her doll even has her own teddy bear..hehe
she named her doll 'mic mic' n her doll's bear 'ten dollar' . sumtimes she, doll n bear share the same name.
(pls dun ask me why)
she will even carry a bag while pushing her doll's stroller or hang a bag on the stroller handle to store things.
she will bring her doll for a ride in her 'car' and even tell and act out to the doll what she sees.. very hilarous...
tat day at a Ikea, she insisted on hugging two teddy bears and walked around the store with them.
she even gave them different names. and make them cuddle n kiss n talk to each other!
and they have to be seated on her left and right when she was at the restaurant highchair.
i was not allowed to remove them from her sides.
I know most tods have been role-playing for a long time already.
but me just so happy tat potato finally learns pretend play and learn to show 'compassion' to her doll.
wah....so many new toys for shermyn...she must have been real busy since.

If your computer is Window XP, u can just change the encoding fr EN to CH and type the word in huan yu pin yin will do. I dont know need to download any Chinese software or not? Mine very simple, when I need to type Chinese, just change the right bottom of my pc, ok liao. Maybe Mngo/yuru can help.

Im back..... no lah not from delivery but im back to post again-last wk my laptop was down.
Yes.... im still around, the little one still dun wan to come out leh, most probably will be an overdue bb again just like nat. Next mon is my EDD, will be seeing my gynae, hope she wun ask me to induce.

Chloe's just normal smart, yr potato I thinkis superman smart... Role play can do so well! Chloe don't really roleplay at all leh, the most she kiss the bear and make the bear kiss her that's all! Think the most "played" toy for her is me and hubby lah, One snap of finger both of us guai guai sit beside her

last nit brought nathan to PD, comfirmed he got the bugs fm natalie. haiz.... poor nathan, he is only 2wks old but is having block nose + cough now. PD said must monitor and ensure he dont ahve fever, else may need to admit to hospital. cross my fingers now.
