Hi Serenade!
Thanks for the effort in compiling the age of our children.
Really admire you, how do you still find time while you're still in the midst of battling sleep with your children?
I also admire you for the memory - what, are you computer?
oh no, the playdate was with a fellow Singaporean mom. Her kids and mine are exactly same age! Our No. 1s love each other!
I haven't arranged anything with Ryan's family yet coz his parents are working and anything on weekend doesn't look good for us coz we wanna rest too and want time with our children for ourselves.
Do your children nap?
I always put them to nap between 3.30-4.30pm. And they usually nap at least 1.5 hours, while Bryan will nap more than Kris.
Then at night, I'll start dinner at around 6.30pm-7pm for them. And about 1.5 hours later, they'll be tired and they'll show signs that they want to go to bed. So on good days, they'll be in bed by 9.30pm. But sometimes a little later, e.g. we kept them up for the past two days, coz we wanna sleep in on weekend too. But half to one hour delay in bedtime.
They wake up at 11pm, very alert? Or do they wanna use the toilet? WHen Bryan wakes up, my husband will march him to the bedroom and discourages any conversation with him. He'll keep very quiet and stay in his room for about 5 min and B will drift back into sleep quickly. When Kris wakes up - usually she gets woken up by other people, e.g. her brother or by neighbours upstairs who stomp around like sumo wrestlers (btw, we used to have indian elephants living above us and below us are German bears - hehee... think you can guess the nationalities) - anyway when K wakes up, we will listen to her cries. She'll complain for about less than a minute and she'll be back in her sleep again.
Brandon is such a teachable child and has great imaginative power too. He must be alot of fun to be with, of course minus the occasional meltdowns right?
I'm so impressed that he can do so many pages of Logico. Bryan only likes his animal set of Logico cards. And then after a while, his concentration will shift gear - needless to say, to a lower one of course!
Go get the wet-weather gear for Cheryl and be in for some splashing good times! Don't forget you need some waterproof stuffs too!
Will look out for your new blog.
It was great to catch you online the other day. Hopefully we'll be able to find a time to chat live more often. After 11pm CET seems like a good time for us, when the kids are asleep?
Have a wonderful weeked!
