Ya la..it's the irritating MIL laaa & her sisters...they think that by carrying the baby, they will strike 4D that weekend. So how? Your beloved MIL still kisses your LO?
Now she dare not. We will be eagle eyes on her. When she has that action, we will tell her cannot kiss face.

do u all hang wedding portrait?
Why! I used to hang wedding portrait before I shifted to my present house. Reason being, the main bed needs to be shifted to make some space for #1 bed and the baby cot for #2. If we shift, then the wedding portrait will not be "aligned"

Bonus of 3k received.also cda with account number (posb) activated + reflectex. However, there is no 3k in yet by default. CDA have to wait is it? Can I top up for matching now?

Simi reflectex? What is that?
For govt matching, after you deposit the $ in the cda account, they will match within 14 working days subject to a max of duno 6 or 7k. You put $ in the cda account already?

Reflected.. ok. But got 3k additional from govt right? I have top up anything yet though
Yup yup...I think you can start to put in funds liao...

But I read somewhere that if you leave the CDA funds untouched, it will be entitled to a 2% interest..

In total you will get 6K+2K(Baby Bonus Plus)=8K for 1st and 2nd child.
1st payout: 3K (credited into your designated account within 10 working days of birth)
2nd payout: 1.5k (when baby reaches 6 month)
3rd payout: 1.5k (when baby reaches 12 month)
4th payout (baby bonus plus): $1k (when baby reaches 15 month)
5th payout (baby bonus plus): $1k (when baby reaches 18 month)

You won't get top up if you din put any money in the CDA account. What i did was whenever i received the payout, i will transfer to the CDA account immediately. Then the govt top-up will come in within 14 working days but cap at 6K match.

You can login to http://www.babybonus.msf.gov.sg/parent/web/home?_afrLoop=9325559692946533&_afrWindowMode=0&_afrWindowId=8gzinwtyw_1#@?_afrWindowId=8gzinwtyw_1&_afrLoop=9325559692946533&_afrWindowMode=0&_adf.ctrl-state=8gzinwtyw_29 to check the transaction details.

Aiyo, 2% is very low le. And how to keep it untouch when children are sent to ifc/cc where the costs are exorbitant!!! My #1's account was wiped out by the time he touches 18 months and i use it solely for ifc/cc arrangement.

I just did my baby's celebration. At 2.5 months, he knows to be afraid of strangers so not many ppl get to carry him. :p I did it at my house though and almost had a fit when I see other kids messing my precious boy's precious nursery and playing with his toys etc.

How's everyone? Once Jo and Dawn pop and after their confinement, we should have a meet up! :) Would be lovely to meet you all and all the precious little ones.

Gee, did you sanitize the toys after that? Cos if older kids and if they attend pre-school, my greatest fear is HFMD and the common cold and flu. So to date, I don't really attend gatherings with pre-schoolers tagged along for fear of my #1 catching the viruses from them and HFMD is very dangerous to preggers like me :"/

Should have a meetup~afterall, we have been "talking" for the past few months :)

The meet up would have to be after their confinement le

At how many months have to register/queue? Is it 18 months? Nursery or etc
What Q r u referring? Reg for child care? Depend on which year u want to let your child go in. I let my nos.1 go in at 3yrs old. Playground. I waiting for a place for abt 1yrs. Depend on how popular the school is. You may want to go check out the environment n how the teachers first. Then u can put on waiting list. The principal will be able to advise u. For infant care, the waiting list is longer. My friend put on waiting when she is expecting at 6mths. Heehee

Piglet. 18 months still considered infant care huh?
Infant care is 4mths to 17mths. 18mths is nursery. The ratio of the teacher to the kids is different. Infant is like 1teacher to max 5babies. If your helper is gd, let her take care until older ard 3yrs old. In the meantime build up your child immune system. Then during time period of time, can enrol into gym or kindermusic. Bonding with baby n build their motor skills.

how about Fm? cos advised to stop bm first last week due to high jaundice. yesterday, dr say bb under control.
