5. Meet Your Favourite PAW Patrol Pups
The pups from popular Nick Jr. cartoon PAW Patrol are dropping by City Square Mall again and it is going to be paw-sitively fun! 9. Create Cartoon Characters
Does your child like doodling? Sydney, Australia’s Cartoon Kingdom flies to Singapore every year to conduct cartoon illustrating workshops for kids. This June will be their 12th visit! Even if your child has never touched a musical instrument to date, it’s not too late to start. 30. Grow a Lizard Tail
The seventh edition of Singapore Art Museum‘s family-focused exhibition is back with a new theme: Imaginarium: To the Ends of the Earth. One of the headliners is Lizard Tail, a colourful and interactive soft-sculpture environment by Hiromi Tango. It teaches about adaptation and survival based on the lizard’s ability to regrow its tail. On 18 May, 5 June, 9 July and 12 August, kids have the chance to create their own Lizard Tail to add on to the original! 31. Party at Pulau Ubin
Ubin island is having their annual open house. Pesta Ubin comprises community-led activities where more adventurous ones can cycle and kayak, while homebodies can check out the photo booth at Uncle Lim’s shop and have a relaxing mangrove tour by boat. 32. Be Inspired to Dream
The inaugural Gallery Children’s Biennale, themed Dreams and Stories, inspires kids and families to use their creative imagination while exploring immersive and interactive art showcases. 33. Appreciate and Make Art
The Faber-Castell Art Festival is coming to town! An art exhibition, a series of interactive workshops and other fun activities will be taking place, all within a ‘castle’ setting. Families can take part in an art competition as well. The festival also aims to break records for the biggest mosaic made by colour markers and the longest banner of human figurine sketches. 37. Enjoy Music in the Park
Love rocking out as a family? Then you don’t wanna miss the sixth instalment of Rockestra, the concert series by NParks. Bring along the grandparents because this time they are going retro. The whole family will be treated to the sounds from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Jack & Rai, 53A, Jive Talkin’ and Shagies will take the stage. Don’t worry about refreshments as there will be both halal and non-halal food on sale. Just remember to bring a family-sized picnic mat!

38. Have a Super Fun Day
Aviva SuperFunDae is back with more than 30 non-stop carnival games and activities, rain or shine. Different zones offer anything from live music and movies to pirate water play and jungle adventure. In honour of Father’s Day, daddies can team up with the little ones to take part in the new Daddy Donut Dash and other fun races. There will be food stalls and free ice cream all day, and don’t forget to watch out for the hourly Candy Cannon blasts! Tickets include a goodie pack for kids, while adults get a free drink.

39. Bond as Family Campers
If you are into sleeping overnight in a natural and rustic setting, don’t miss this camp by Cicada Tree Eco-Place! It is specially designed for families to spend quality time together, talking and walking. The guides will lead educational walks in the evening, night and morning. Also in conjunction with Pesta Ubin, they will host Musang (Palm Civet) Watch on 23 June. More nature walks will be available − stay tuned to their Facebook page for updates.

40. Grow Green Fingers
Start ‘em young, so they say. Gardening is enjoying a new surge in popularity, considering all the efforts to establish vertical gardens and rooftop nurseries. To get the kids involved, families can visit Gardeners’ Day Out, which happens the third Saturday of each month at HortPark. Little ones can join activities like storytelling and handicrafts such as making pressed flower bookmarks and leaf printing. You can also pick out new plants, consult a plant doctor, harvest produce from the Edible Garden, learn from the experts and network with fellow gardening families.

41. Visit the President
At least his place of work, that is! Sign up for a guided nature walk conducted hourly by NParks and the President’s Office during the Istana Hari Raya Puasa open house. You will get to see the Istana’s flora, fauna and biodiversity. Arrive early to beat the queue, as signing up and payment are done on the spot. Family packages are available. After you enter the Istana grounds, look for signs showing you where to register for the tours.
