23 Funtastic Indoor Playgrounds to Take Your Kids to Rain or Shine (UPDATED)!
We’ve put together an updated list of 23 currently up-and-running indoor playgrounds for your kids to have a ball of a time at this June break and beyond.
If you ask us, indoor playgrounds are truly a godsend. Our little red dot experiences torrential rains one day and unbearable heat the next. Oh, and there’s also the dreaded haze that drops by in the second half of the year to rule out outdoor play for the little ones. So it seems to us that planning a visit to an indoor playground is your best bet – zero chances of bad weather disappointing the kids! And there’s no lack of these wonderful havens of fun – take your pick from several located all over the island.
Here’s an updated list of 23 indoor playgrounds in Singapore for you to bring your kids to for an unforgettable time. Your first visit won’t be your last for sure!
1. Amazonia Singapore
Housed within Great World City, Amazonia Singapore spans about 9,500 square feet and is themed after the South American rainforest. Apart from the massive six-storey high Jungle Play Gym, this indoor playground also offers a toddler play area, a glow-in-the-dark Spaceball room and a 3D Glow mini golf course! There are also party rooms you can book for a memorable party for your tot.

2. Aquarius Cove
In line with its name, Aquarius Cove is an ocean themed indoor playground. From the submarine shaped tunnels to the inflatable slides, younger ones are sure to have a blast at this play facility which also offers the option of holding a birthday bash there. Oh, and we love that there is a dedicated nursing room for mummies on the premises!

3. Cool de Sac
Mums and dads can sit back and enjoy some alone time with each other at the bistro located within Cool de Sac while their children try their hand at a variety of creative play stations. This indoor playground which measures about 14,000 square feet offers different segments such as Play Area, Arts & Craft, Blocks, Back Stage, Treehouse and Tweens & Tods. There’s never going to be a dull moment here!

If your child is fascinated by the sight of towering cranes operating at construction sites, here’s his chance to test drive an actual one. No, we aren’t kidding. Over at Diggersite, kids will get the chance to use authentic hydraulic excavators to gather sand from sandpits and empty it into the buckets provided. It’s not as easy as it sounds! A visit to Diggersite is best suited for kids above four.

Within the sprawling interior of eXplorerkid are various pockets of space smarty carved out to cater to little ones of different ages and interests. You’ll find a toddler’s play area equipped with kiddy ball pools, themed playhouses, a tree slide, and a multi-level obstacle course stacked with maze-like tunnels for the older children. There’s also an Adventure Highlands rope course to try out at $5.50 per child per circuit!

6. Fidgets World
At 16,000 square feet, Fidgets World is the mother of all indoor playgrounds in Singapore – just perfect for the little ones who never seem to run out of energy. Designed and manufactured in Australia, this edutainment facility boasts play areas specially designated for babies and toddlers. It also has a ball washing machine that’s said to eliminate over 99 percent of germs. So you can safely leave your tots there the whole afternoon and chill at the cafe.

7. Fun N Laughter
With ball pits, rope climbing courses, trampolines, and a wrecking ball, there are more than enough activities to keep the kiddos occupied with at Fun N Laughter. If your child fancies Snakes & Ladders, he could have a go at the indoor playground’s adorable version of the classic game – Bamboos & Pandas. Oh, and there’s also Tayo The Little Bus in which tots can sit in and ride around the play facility!

8. Go Go Bambini
Go-Go Bambini is one of the first indoor playgrounds in Singapore. The impressive four-storey playscape at Dempsey is home to a flying fox, ball pits, tunnels, two climbing walls, a ball blower and more fun-packed elements. We love that the café on the premises offers free wifi and two computers for parents to use while the kids play away. Gourmet burgers, organic coffee, kids’ meals and baby food are on the menu!

9. Hokey Pokey
Parents will love that Hokey Pokey offers an educational aspect for their kids aged six months to six years old. Children can play safely, explore freely and fine-tune their sensory and motor skills – all while having a ton of fun! There are musical instruments, a game corner, a kitchen and even a castle where tots let can their imaginations take over. Littler ones will enjoy the padded play area where there are toys, ride-ons, slides and ball pits!

10. Kaboodle Kids
Do you remember playing with blocks and building things with them back in the days? At Kaboodle Kids, your children can do the same by going wild through imaginative play. Based on David Rockwell’s concept of “Imagination Playground”, little ones use calming blue foam blocks to create something. Cognitive and social skills are also honed as kids will be inspired to play together in a group!

11. Kidz Amaze
Measuring 12,700 square feet, Kidz Amaze at SAFRA Toa Payoh offers energetic tots three interconnected themed zones – The Cave, Tree Tops and The City. The spacious ball pit and the soft ball shooters are the highlights here. Just like those tipping water buckets that drench squealing kids at water playgrounds, a yellow basket on the second storey of the maze tips over at intervals to rain colourful balls on kiddos! 12. LOL Playland
Did you know that when your child engages in pretend-play, he is simultaneously increasing his self-confidence? LOL Playland is the indoor playground to head to for some pretend-play fun! The three playhouses here are modelled after a police station, fire station and a hospital. Oh, and they come with matching uniforms for kiddos to have an authentic experience of being a police officer, firefighter, doctor or nurse for a day!

13. Pororo Park Singapore
Conveniently situated in the heart of the city at Marina Square, little fans of Pororo the Penguin can have a ball of a time at this 11,000 square feet indoor edutainment playground which combines a train ride, indoor playscape attractions, educational classes and entertaining shows under one roof. Babies aren’t left out here – there’s a padded corner decked out with a kitchen set and small tents filled with coloured balls!

14. The City
Within The City, kids can try out different grownup roles and professions in a fun and safe environment. Let your children transform themselves into cooks, cashiers, doctors, nurses, or police officers. They can “drive” on mini streets, navigate traffic signs and lights, and explore scaled down versions of real life locations like the supermarket, café, beauty salon and clinic. Ready for some serious role play?

15. The Polliwogs
Foam ball shooters, a wave slide and a giant trampoline area are the highlights at The Polliwogs’ VivoCity branch. There is a large play area dedicated to little ones below three where you’ll be in for a surprise. There are more not-so-typical playscape elements available for the enjoyment of the younger ones. 16. Bouncing Kids
Mazes, tubes, tunnels, slides, swings, bouncing bridges, balancing beams and classic ball pits – your kids can expect the full indoor playground works on a visit to Bouncing Kids. You could choose to join your little ones as they run loose or you could do something a little more grown-up. How about enjoying a slice of cake with a cup of latte at DAT Little Café while keeping an eye on the kiddos? If you’re a fitness freak, knock yourself out at the nearby gym in the same building.

The relatively new Kidzland at The Grandstand is an indoor playground and child-friendly arcade all rolled into one! Dubbed The Forest, the indoor play area is a jungle themed one that’s great for kids aged between three and twelve. Enter and you will be greeted by a three-storey climbing structure complete with tunnels and slides for little ones to wriggle their way through. There’s also a mini rock climbing wall for the more agile kids!

19. Little Planet Playland
Little Planet is a miniature world for little people to engage in imaginative pretend-play. 20. My Little Giant
See-saws and rocking horses for the tots, two humongous ball pits, and steep slides for a thrilling experience for the older ones are some of the exciting play structures you can look forward to at My Little Giant. Oh, and there are also trampolines for your children who love a bouncing good time. Once they are all drained out, let them rest those little legs with a jolly ride on the carousel or choo-choo train. Don’t forget to check out the kiddy arcade jam-packed with games too!

This family-owned indoor playground and party facility is dedicated to early childhood development. Infants and young toddlers can hone their motor skills at the Baby-Roo Forest Land in order to prepare themselves for crawling and walking. 22. Tickle Tickle
The Tickle Tickle branch at Delta Sports Complex is decked out in a visually appealing Candy Land theme. Children are sure to love the decor shaped like ice cream cones, lollipops and candies. The four themed playhouses at this indoor playground – Home, Café, Supermarket and Workshop – are packed with lots of pretend-play toys for a fun and educational experience. There are also the classic play structures like slides and ball pit for kids to have a blast!

23. Waka Waka by The Polliwogs
Just opened back in December 2016, Waka Waka is a safari themed indoor playground that promises a fun new concept for kids aged up to 14. A huge bouncy castle occupies the toddler space and offers a tiny climbing wall, slide, huge rollers and hoops for kiddies to explore. There’s also a pretty unique “jumping bed” that lets children feel like they are bouncing on a bowl of jelly. Peek through the translucent material and you’ll see lots of cute sea critters!
