can you recall how much is the consultancy fee per visit and how much you pay for the delivery bill ?@kymkym
You can just call to appointment centre and they can check for you.
My gynae is CK Khoo and he's not bad. His stitches (i'm c-sect) also very nice, this's the comment from my mom and massage lady. They said the doctor very skillful. Maybe you can try him.
I did! This is just a free gift, no restrictions on ivf bbs.hmmm....any mummy sign up for the free Great Eastern SG50 insurance package? wondering does it apply to ivf bb as well ?
Their agent will contact u? do they deliver the item to you or need to self-collect?I did! This is just a free gift, no restrictions on ivf bbs.
Quite cool.. Got bib, mittens & booties... Pigeon milk bottle & wet wipes, bath samples
But the maternity insurance can't buy cos by far only AIA allows ivf cases.
Their agent will contact u? do they deliver the item to you or need to self-collect?
I signed up for the free package at a booth at a baby fair. Yup sent via registered mail right to your doorstep. But it took them more than 2 mths to get the parcel to me.. So u may wanna sigh up earlier.Their agent will contact u? do they deliver the item to you or need to self-collect?

If u see him at the private suite it is v short like maybe 20 min. But if u see him at clinic D... Haha i usually wait for 1-2hr...
Huh!! Really?? Then i must be really lucky to have short waiting time at TPS... Got a few times I was able to see him at the exact appt time even...Erm... just sharing my waiting time for consulting Dr HH Tan... normally i have to wait 2.5hrs even at the private suite... he has so many patients now.

Dr Tan got more patients everyday, I guess very soon he will leave KK and starts his own clinic like dr. Loh.Erm... just sharing my waiting time for consulting Dr HH Tan... normally i have to wait 2.5hrs even at the private suite... he has so many patients now.

Wow... Maybe it is the appt timing... I usually see him at 4pm... Maybe u try that timing next time!U are not too unlucky. ;p
I waited 2 hours at Tps n the vending machine was spoiled that day.
Thanks. Look like there is lots of emergency c-sect cases in kkh. Very rare for patients to opt for voluntary c-sect? I also notice that the scanning is not advance like private hospital. Offen see people posted their fetus weight and 3D pic after their scan. But kkh can't even advice how heavy is mine now.Consultation fee 80+/visit. Delivery bill around 10k for emergency c-sect.

Tomm 27 wk. My age is 42 by the birth time so i dun think i want to take risk to try.How many weeks are u now?
I wasn't advised on weight until 3rd tri...
If u dont mind me asking, why do u prefer c sect?
Ok. I think the next check up (if it is after 28wk) they will tell u the estimated weight already... If they don't u shd be able to ask them...Tomm 27 wk. My age is 42 by the birth time so i dun think i want to take risk to try.

Congrats on reaching 28 weeks! It is a great milestone! Did the doctor tell u when u are expected to do the C section and do u have to do bedrest from a certain week?I am in my 28th Week, so far KKH also had not advised me on weight. I think docs tend to suggest C section for twins or more, but not commonly so for single birth. Doctors usually advise for natural birth. But u can check with ur doc if u do prefer.
Feedback from some of the service staff there tell me if complicated pregnancy, better opt straight for C section, rather than end up having emergency C section, cos $damage$ would be higher.
Oh no... i hope not... he's my ivf as well as O & G dr now... if he leaves i will be lost... still have frozen embies in KK and will want him to help in the ivf & delivery in future.Dr Tan got more patients everyday, I guess very soon he will leave KK and starts his own clinic like dr. Loh.
So far Dr HH Tan's nurses in Clinic D & TPS are all very nice & patient to me. Maybe i m just lucky to have the nice ones on duty... esp when getting on and off the bed for u/s in consultation room...my average waiting time when i was seeing HH TAN was 1.5hrs. But now i chose to downgrade to subsidized rates. I still prefer to see HH TAN if it weren't for me having triplets. heard from other pple that triplet pregnancy costs alot, thats why i opted to downgrade. PS: I do find HH TAN's nurse arrogant. Anyone have similar thinking?
Experienced mummies out there.. Need your expertise! TIA

The doctor's bonus from delivery is so much?! I didn't even pay so much for the hospital bill!
Hee... nvr take note on the nurse's name or recognize her face... mostly trying to remember the questions i have for Dr Tan... before i get too engrossed in the u/s.if i am not wrong, the one who attended to me is Nurse Felicia. Thought it is always the same nurse for the more senior docs like HHtan

yeah, he's a really nice doc, always reassuring, friendly and patient.

Hi, when do u start drinking fresh coconut water? Heard it can help "clean" the baby before due...
Thank u!I think it's wk 35 onwards
I see, clinically, it should be done between week 24 to week 28, so for yours is still within the range. So don worry. You can consider hi-mei suggestion on Dr Tan HH as your pte gynae...
Mind I ask what makes you wanna to switch to pte gynae?
GE cover those stated, think quite long list.Hi ladies, anyone knows what is the differences between the GE insurance which we bought during our IVF and the AIA insurance which is the only one covered IVF babies?

Hi Chubby, I didn't know that it was a norm to do Gestational Diabetes Test until I saw your response. Every visit, there is a routine urine test for protein and glucose, thus, I thought that it was sufficient. When I asked my gynae on how to prevent diabetes, he then suggested that I do GTT in view that I am over 35. He makes it sound so voluntary that I thought that "I was asking for more pokes by needles" and kept blaming myself these few days.

AIA include ILP investment link policy.
If u already got the GE, think u can skip the aia unless touchwood bb unable to get any life policy after bb is born as aia do not need any medical under writing since it transfer from mom to bb
i am wondering if I can close off the ILP insurance after transferred the insurance to the baby to aviod high annual premium.GE cover those stated, think quite long list.

I ask a lot of stun too. According to the agent I askedi am wondering if I can close off the ILP insurance after transferred the insurance to the baby to aviod high annual premium.
Hi BFF, no need to blame yourself, since it is just a suggestion, that's means you can do without it? Relax and don give yourself that extra stress okay.
Personally to me, since we took a slightly longer route to become pregnant, I don mind taking those necessary tests to ensure my pregnancy is safe and smooth. I understand from my online readings that Gestational Diabetes can cause complications to our pregnancy and baby.. hence, by taking up GDT, it would act as a further assurance to my baby's safety. I don mind even to the extent of poking my fingers and control my diet everyday, at least I can salvage the situation now than blaming myself everyday in future if anything happened to my baby lo.
