Hi i am keen on the BM . as my son 10 months old has allergy to some preservitives in FM and i am not able to bf.. there fore would like to request for some BM.. how ever i am also worried about contamination of Bm along the way of transporting. please advise.. thanks

Hi I have 9 weeks old baby girl who is allergic to cow's and soy milk formula. We have tried hypo allergic formula but she refuse to take it though she is crying due to hunger. We are currently giving her Soy formula due to no choice as my milk supply is low. She got chronic diahorrea since July 1st week with blood in the stools. Kindly PM me if anyone donating milk. I stay in east. Thanks a lot.
 
Hi, Thanks for the replies. Visited specialist. Seems my baby allergic to cow's milk is passed through my breast milk. Stopped feeding her breastmilk and she is totally on soy formula only and drastic improvement. Her number of stools still high but lucky blood stop and she is on soy formula as no choice she dont take hypoallergic formula. Doctor suggested to take off breastmilk for somemore time. I need to monitor some more days. May not need milk at this time. Thanks a lot for replies and kindness to donate.
 
Hi, i have frozen EBM to spare... each pack is packed in lansinoh milk bags at abt ~250-300ml each... earliest milk is dated at Aug 09...

Hi Mummies, I have some breast milk to donate too. All stored in seperate upright freezer (Techno). Dated Jan 2010 onwards, prepacked in lansinoh milk bags 5oz per pack, increased to 6oz somewhere in late Jan.

Excess supply and donating due to lack of storage space. My freezer with 4 drawers is almost filled up. I am only thinking of clearing 1 drawer first and donating as it goes so do check with me through email often if you need them.

My baby is 4 months now, planning to feed her till 1 year old.

Update on my BM: Have donated 2 tranches, once in Mar and once in Apr 10, so anyone who wants BM from me will have to wait till mid may i think. I m trying to decrease my supply desperately *hopefully it works* then maybe end may then i have extra... hehe

For all mummies that wrote to ask me for advice, really nothing much but try not to be so stressful i guess, drink loads fluid, any fluid lar.... water, soup....

hang on there for mummies who want to increase supply... it will only get better... i started pumping every 3 hourly too, then when she was 2.5 mths, i pumped every 6 hourly, then when she was 3.5 mth, i pumped every 8 hourly. Now she is 5 plus mths, i got so lazy i pumped every 12 hourly and still yield close to 40 ounces a day with minimal latching from her.... my maid does the feeding, i only latch her for 5 minutes just to "put her to sleep"....

So mummies out there who need encouragement, really... it will not be 3 hourly pumps everyday for a whole year of nursing.... jia you!
