My cycle is a 28 day cycle, so Aug 12 should be the date and it was delayed for 2 days. (I've been feeling bloated, gassy on both ends, dull headache, dull tummy ache, swollen boobs and constantly hungry) I tested on the test kit but it was negative and on the 3rd day of the missed date, I started having light bleeding ( I thought it was my menses ) but it's different from usual. How long should I wait to test again?

Hi, to be very sure normally the test is to be done 1 week after missed period. So that you can get enough HCG levels in your first morning urine to get a more accurate test result. Also ensure that your test kit is not expired.

I just bought my test kits. but what does the light bleeding means? Should I test 1 week after bleeding stops or the actual missed period ?

I'm not too sure abt it.. it could b yr period or it could be implantation bleeding. Test 1 week aft missed period.. yr period shld haf been 12th aug. So u can test again on 19th which is tml. If you are nt preg n yr period doesnt come, you may wan to speak with a gynae?
