Hi mummies, i'm planning to go on a family trip together with my 3months old son to Thailand Bangkok on the May.

I am wondering for a 3 months old child, do airlines allow mummy to carry the baby while taking off and landing ? any restriction while in plane ?

Airlines will usually require infants to have a safety belt, tied to another adult's safety belt. Yes, usually mummies will carry the babies with their safety belt secured to mummies' safety belt. Some airlines may allow you to use certain approved baby carrier. Best to check with airlines directly. They will also provide bassinet (if babies measurement fit). Usually airlines will arrange parents with infants to be seated infront as there is sufficient space to put the bassinet.

Not much restriction but if your baby is making alot of noises, air steward/stewardress will try to assist/ask you what they can do to smoothe your baby. You see, other passengers on board may not be too please to have a crying baby throughout the flight. Is stressful to bring a baby aboard though there is alot of joy too. You need to find ways to pacifier your baby. Every baby reacts directly when they are on board. Try to let yr baby suck somethg when taking off & landing cos there is pressure difference which may result in some babies having headache or ear pain etc. The saliva will help to ease off some pressure.
