Secondary infertility

Does anybody here have been diagnosed with secondary infertility or having trouble ttc-ing #2? I have tried a couple of things, traditional massages, pre-seed, pre-conception supplements, charting and even promegranate juice. Almost 4 years now. However will soon be going to see a doc. I have type 2 diabetes.

Not quite diagnosed but each of my pregnancy took time. At one point I gave up and was seeing TCM to manage my menstruation problem and general wellbeing... and perhaps they did such a good job that my body was so optimum - within 6 months I was pregnant. And I supposed a change of mindset - I wanted to be pregnant so badly... and nothing would happen. Once I got over that and told myself, I am already a mother... if i have it is extra blessing, if I have not.. well, compared to many others, I am way way WAY better off....

Mine too. Each preg required deliberate effort like taking clomid. Tried tcm (EYS) and conceived within 3 mths of taking Chinese med. maybe u want to consider tcm.

Maybe you want to try TCM. A few of my friends managed to conceive with the help of TCM. If you are interested, I can ask them to recommend the TCM clinic and pm you.

what is secondary infertility?

i am trying for my #2 too...about 4-5 months but no result yet.
my #1 took us almost 2 years too....tried TCM and western dr.
Decided to stop trying once dr ask us to try IUI than shortly got pregnant le.

i also same mentality as frog now. Already have 1....if really no fate with #2, than no choice

hihi, me also seems to suffer from secondary infertility which means unable to conceive after giving birth to #1 as what I googled. I have been trying actively for the past 1.5yrs and my boy is 4yo now. I failed 2 IUIs & I went to 2 diff gynaes for checkup & they dont see major problem in us. I used to see TSB for tcm medicine & she said my fertility dropped cos I waited too long to try for another one. So have to start all over again. It took me 3 yrs to conceive #1.

Secondary infertility is as devastating as those who are trying for the first. Pple keep asking you when is your #2 coming.... for me, this is the same question when I am at work (colleagues), at home (elderly neighbours), my inlaws. It's not I dont want to have another one but when I felt ready to try there it goes.... maybe the fate is not here yet.... I am still praying hard.... What about the rest of you? How do you handle when pple pop you the question?

Hi, my hubby and I have secondary infertility too. After unsuccessfully TTC for close to 1 year, we seek Gynae help to check further. A good start to check for females are pelvis ultrasound scan and blood tests to rule out sickness/illness or fibroids/cysts/block tubes that prevent pregnancy. For guys, to do two semen analysis to check on spermie quality and quantity. After these tests, your gynae could discuss the options you have to try for no 2...
