Thanks dear but I'm nthg compared to other greater stories out there.. Actually I am not hopeful alrdy.. Tested with clearblue digital with conception kit... Stated Pregnant 1-2 which means dating cld be 3-4 wks according to the chart... Seems like I'm way behind right! Also means hcg concentration is not high.

Previous BFP cycle I managed to go for my first dating scan, at tat time was measuring 5w6d which is 12 days after my bt. Today is 6 days after my bt... Do I still stand a chance?

Ok...this is noted. I think tcm is monitoring my cycle, i am taking folic acid and mercilon, and Dr Zou knew about it and she is counting my cycle for me too.

Dearie, everything is possible, never lose hope.

Although i have not yet been through your stage yet, i always shared with HB how i feel, as long as we have tried our best, we are ready for any result. Thats literary make me feel more relax now. However through one conversation, i think HB still very positive and hopeful, so i will stay positive all the way and at the same time prepare for the worst.

You have to be even stronger than your embbie, believe in the power of love. All the best....
 
I rem prof said during his ivf seminar..
During ivf treatment, tcm herbs is no-no.
Accup can do but not after ET.
Multivits still can go ahead.
Anyway maybe the more experienced TCMs are confident how to complement ivf. My tcm maybe didn't want to be responsible for any complication so told me to stop her meds.

Opss....i wonder i should have stop the chinese medicine now...Dr Zou told me the chinese medicine is helping to prepare for FET and i am a bit "xu", need to take the medicine to tiao my body.
I should have attend prof seminar first before i started ivf, going in Apr and hope to get more information

Dr Zou is quite a famous & experienced one so should be reliable ba..
My tcm was just some ulu sinseh recommended by a friend, if she suddenly close shop & run away I also won't be surprised.
 
Yes, prof asked me to stop all tcm meds once starting the hormone jabs. I still did acupuncture up until ET. After that, we need divine intervention le. Yes, we tried our best, and would not regret whatever the outcome is. If we never try, then we would regret. That's how i feel.

Luckily you dont have to go for tcm anymore, i heard after conceive better dont go tcm, otherwise you have to look for another tcm sensei.

I just went to NUH to take the jab (Decapeptyl), luckily not painful.

Haha I intend to go tcm after 1st tri when I can stop all the hormone meds.
But I will find a reputable one. Intend to go back to Dr Zhong from Paragon Euyansang. I saw her before. She's a specialist for women issues, just that she's v ex. But if safe, I don't mind paying la
 
There is this CHR nurse I super like. Her name is Charmaine.
She's super encouraging & sweet. I call her "my fav nurse". I wanted her to be the one doing my big day BT but she was busy la haha

Same here. I superb like her too, i was lucky to have her taught me for first injection, so clear and encouraging....my last day of inject gonaf f, i spill out the lose pack, so scare that i have not enough, it was about 8pm+, hence i called the emergency line, Charmaine was on duty, she is so diligent and helpful, she got all my info and called Prof, then she called me back to instruct me try on the balance gonal f pen, instead of rush back to NUH. I was lucky as the balance gonal f pen just enough for my dosage. To thank Charmaine, i bought twelve cupcake for the CHR nurses, she is so thankful although she deserve it as i really want to express my appreciation....Gilian was nice too, today she helped me with the jab, always so smiley

I'm coming to terms on this failure, tmr gg bt to get a conclusion to seal the case and move on..

Ladies, want to ask you about the embryo grading. Yesterday i went CHR and requeated to show me the embryos grading, the result :-
10 cell / grade 2
8 cell / grade 3
7 cell / grade 3
7 cell / grade 2

I read from other thread, grade 2 & grade 3 not a very good grading. I wonder why Prof said one very good and the rest are good too. I google last night, the cell does count too rather than just looking at the grade.
Please enlighten me on my curiousity. Thank you

I'm not too Gd on gradings too and they always say grading is not everything... Ladies succeed on satisfactory embryos as well. Prof also every time tell me good good haha... Oh u hv 4 snowies too like me.. U transferring 2?

Pinkfuchsia, your embbies will feel very sad if you are giving up before the BT. Hang in there, give hope and have faith. Hope and Faith are 2 beautiful words that i have learned during IVF journey. Jia you and be positive!! Fighting

Yeah, i have 4 beautiful embbies like you. They may not in very good grading, i hope that they are as strong as me. Same to you, Pinkfuchsia, your snowies are waiting for your love and fighting together with you. Jia you jia you. We will be good, hee hee
 
Yes, i am planning to transfer 2 this time, me and HB without discussion, both agreed on 2. Hope that my embbie will survive after thaw...pray hard

Honestly I wasn't confident la.. I did all those stuff to boost my confidence.
Hubby was all along the positive one. Eg: on BT day, I wanted to go home after drawing blood (I stay v far from NUH) cos thought gone case liao la, no chance to see prof 2 hrs later. Hubby was the one who insisted we will stay at NUH for 2 hrs wait for BT results... Exactly 2 hrs later he went up to CHR to check while I chickened out & stayed at level 3 lobby sofa.
Sometimes gotta really do things by faith!

The grading is not just based on cell number. They look at other stuff like fragmentation, regularity of cells, thickness of membrane etc.
But who cares abt the grade?! I shared at the main ivf thread that my 2 "perfect" ones didn't make it during fresh, but FET bfp with "satisfactory" ones.
Anyway your snowbabies profile like almost similar to mine :)

I agree both hands and legs, ironically it seems like satisfactory grading embryos hv as Gd chance as grade 1 embryos!

Just to share my research..
Many believe that FET cycles are more hopeful cos your body is not as full of hormones as fresh cycle. So body is in better condition to receive embbies.
Also the freeze-thaw process means that snowbabies go thru more "torture" so if they survive to make it to transfer, they should be v strong :)

Yes that's wat I read too... We r researching very much hahahah...

Just done with my BT, so lucky today, clinic very empty.. Register payment and jab all completed within 15mins.

Oh....i always thought that fresh cycle is better. To me, its better for FET cycle as after me ER, i am still having cough abd only recovered recently. Meanwhile i have to take care and try not to fall ill again when closer to my FET
 
I know I felt bad about grading of the embryo if they are not very good. As @remembeRainbow said it, it's true that good grade embryo might not make it. After all, it is us human who "grade" them based on outer appearance.

I'm new here! started reading this thread only yesterday. hope to hv some buddy for my 2ww. just had my ER on monday. Lab just called to say that ET will be tomorrow. I retrieved 15 eggs, 10 matured, 10 fertilized. Today was told that 2 are excellent, 2 very good and 6 good. Not sure what this means.
