Just for your information, foreign patients doing IVF in Malaysia are not required to produce a marriage certificate. They however have to sign a form at the clinic, declaring that they are legally married in their country of origin. This is unlike Thailand, where you have to produce a valid marriage certificate, together with a certified translation in Thai language.Hello - both me and my partner live together but not married (for personal reasons) so we don't qualify for IVF in Singapore. We consulted a fertility specialist who told us to get married to do IVF in Singapore (personally, I thought that isn't the right reason for us to go sign the papers ).
Also, I'm above 40 and I have not gone for any ART in Singapore prior hence I believe the subsidies are not available to us (even if we choose to get married).
If you are considering doing embryo genetic testing (PGS / PGT-A) overseas, here are the latest news updates:Hi
Would like to find out if there are couples who were planning for overseas IVF but all plans have stopped given the current covid situation?
Feeling kinda disappointed as we have been TTC-ing (naturally) for 1 year and still no news.
Hi, I am planning to go for overseas IVF once travel restrictions ease up. Both my partner and I are fully vaccinated. Am now researching and trying to make sense of the travel arrangements.
My reasons for going overseas is not because I want to do genetic testing. I want to do IVF as a single woman because we are a lesbian couple so I have to choose countries that allow that.
If anyone is also researching about overseas IVF (straight or gay) this we can team up and share info.
