Why do you want to go overseas, since you can't access Medisave or Government subsidies? Because you want to do procedures that are banned or difficult to carry out in Singapore?Hi
Would like to find out if there are couples who were planning for overseas IVF but all plans have stopped given the current covid situation?
Feeling kinda disappointed as we have been TTC-ing (naturally) for 1 year and still no news.
1) PGS (genetic testing of IVF embryos), which can be used for sex selection
2) Egg donation
3) Egg freezing

Just for your information, foreign patients doing IVF in Malaysia are not required to produce a marriage certificate. They however have to sign a form at the clinic, declaring that they are legally married in their country of origin. This is unlike Thailand, where you have to produce a valid marriage certificate, together with a certified translation in Thai language.Hello - both me and my partner live together but not married (for personal reasons) so we don't qualify for IVF in Singapore. We consulted a fertility specialist who told us to get married to do IVF in Singapore (personally, I thought that isn't the right reason for us to go sign the papers
Also, I'm above 40 and I have not gone for any ART in Singapore prior hence I believe the subsidies are not available to us (even if we choose to get married).
