Need advice - hyperthyroidism, need recommendations

Hi , anyone here got hyperthyroidism before pregnancy? Now I reduce 15mg per day, any gynea recommend as I prepare to join motherhood next year ? What I should take note while I got hyperthyroidism? Can I continue the medicine once I know I’m got pregnant while I not yet find gynea ?

I was Hyper and then flip to Hypo...
when i was preggy - I was aldy down to 5mg (maintenance dose.)
My regular doc refer me to see Endocrinologist at Mt. E Novena... the specialist told me tt usually ard 20weeks to 25 weeks preggy, our body will self-regulate & thyroid levels will go bk to normal / close to normal.

Actually, once I tested positive - I stop my medication all together as I dont want to take any risks/ worry abt side effects on baby. Still went bk to the doc for regular blood test just to make sure tt my readings dun go crazy... I am now back to being Hyper thyriod but I still dun want to take the meds... Just let it be and wait till my baby's out then I worry about it lah.

my readings on the TSH is off but T3 & T4 readings are within acceptable range.

I wanted to go for Natural birth cos my previous 2 birth also natural so for #3, I told Gynae that I wanted to try natural and he said okay as long as baby is not too big.....

hello, I used to have hyperthyroidsm from few years ago and was under control already, but was told to continue monitor the condition if I were to get pregnant.

I just delivered the baby less than a month ago!

I think u can choose any gynae u like, but get an endocrine doctor to follow up? That was what I did during the pregnancy.

hello,
i was on subsidy scheme till about 32w of my pregnancy so I see random gynaes every visit. Although I switched to private at the late stage but the private gynae didn't really monitor my thyroid conditions.
My endocrine doctor was Prof Tai E Shyong from NUH, he is quite nice.

are u on camazol for hyperthyroid?
I did not take any medication as my thyroid was under control, just had to monitor by blood test quite regularly.
i heard that it is important to not go into hypothyroidism as it can affect fetal growth, even now after baby is born, the baby needs to be checked for thyroid function quite regularly due to my condition.
I think the doctor should explain to u why medications are prescribed. Is it an endocrine doctor or gynae prescribing the medications to u?

Yaya I taking camazol now .. my family doctor did not mention anything to me .. he just say if realize you are pregnant must faster go see gynea and need continued take medicine.. cause now I planning take have baby .. that’s y I very worry
