Natal Teeth

Hi all,

My baby is about 5 days old, born in KKH.
When we were in the hospital, my mum saw that my baby's upper gums have some tiny whitish stuff.
So we highlighted it to the nurses.

After that, a doctor from the KKH dental came to us and told us that my baby have natal teeth, and it's nothing to worry about, it will drop off by itself and if it doesnt, they will remove it.

How can I not be worried after hearing it. I can't find much info locally online about this and nobody seems to have it either.

What should i do? Anybody came across this issue before?

my niece was born with that too.. the old folks kept it hush-hush as they saw it as a negative omen, something about signifying the baby will bite the mother and be a difficult child to manage. LOL! when my niece got older, they filed off her teeth..... sorry I don't have more useful details, but I believe there's no cause for worry n mostly just superstition issues!

True, it's not a big deal it's cute though but they typically resolve themselves after the first months
