Hi mummies, want to know how to move on after a divorce. Now my daily routine is send my son to sch, work, go home and teach him homework. Sometimes just wish to have someone out there to listen to my problem.

You are already moving on. We are bound to face problems with or without marriage, single or married. Do you have any female friends you can journey with?

How old is your children?

Maybe get a new hobby or every weekend go for a starvation. This will lesser your stress

Hi, my kid is p2.. yes thinking of getting a new hobby. But I only can do it when someone have time to take care. The ex husband don't really have the time to bother of my son. Parents also working.

I do have some female friends but all is busy with work. So hard to meet up as well.

Perhaps you might want to catch up w your sibling who have kids too. It’s a good bonding with siblings too

Well, find some hobbies or even look for friend to go out with. Friend A busy, look for friend B. Both busy, look for friend C. I guess there's sure bound to have one whom is free. Otherwise some in here can also be your friend.

Well. Whether they have kids or not, not that important. Of course if have will be better.
The main is still to catch things up with them

I sometimes go out with friends whom dont have kids nor married either. Main is just catch up or pass tine

i would suggest;
  1. keep yourself bc at work. offer to work beyond your scope. help around. w this, you exhaust your time/energy (no time to stay negative), improve your self-worth and u may improve your market value as you learn things along the way.
  2. (as suggest by other forumers), get a hobby. sign up an activity w a CC.
  3. join a group gym. exercise will increase your adrenaline in turn remove negativity in you.
  4. save, plan and go on a travel, w kid (during holidays of course). it will widen your horizon and u spend quality time w your kid. noone is free to go w u? go w tour group. at least you and your kid will b taken care of while you enjoy.
in short, don't wait, stay active.

Meanwhile, giv yourself some time. as your kid gets older, he will be able to engage many activities w you. look forward!
