Santhiya, rest well. Maybe have a review with the doc and ask why and what happen. How come negative hcg then rise again after af and then went up and down again. Have a thorough check would be better for your next cycle too.

The ward doctor came this morning and asked me if I want to be discharged as there is no pain on my abdomen and no bleeding since yesterday. I requested to stay till Saturday since Dr Tan wants to see me on Saturday and to redo the blood test. She also told me that if it's a miscarriage, I will bleed again since my HCG went down yesterday.
I used to have spotting for 1 week before AF every month. Dr Tan knew about it. He scanned and no cyst/polyp/fibroid was found. It was because of this spotting that he put me on long protocol. He once gave me Noresthisterone to treat this spotting for 2 months before I began my IVF to see if i'm low on progesterone. I'm supposed to take the BCP daily for 3 consecutive weeks, then stop for 1 week and my AF is supposed to come during that 1 week when I'm not on the pill. But the weird thing is on the second week of taking the pill, I have spotting for 1 week. First and third week, nothing and when I stop the pill after 3 weeks, my AF comes after 2 or 3 days later.
Actually when I had this current spotting and bleeding on last Thursday, I was predicting that it probably will stop after 1 week which it did but because I'm tested to be pregnant, so I don't know exactly what's wrong.
I will make an appointment with Dr Loh to seek a second opinion. No harm trying.
Really pray hard that my HCG level will go up on Saturday.

Faithfullyyours, it is hard not knowing or understanding what is going on. Please continue to have faith. Since it is out of your control, leave it to god who will pave the way for u. Just continue to bed - rest more for the beanies. Keep positive and have peace. We will continue praying for you!

It depends on how much money you are willing to spend. I feel Dr Loh is def better but I had to leave him cuz no $$...

iwantahealthybaby, Congras!! SO excited for UUUU.. how i wish i can get twins too.. heheheh. then can close factory liao.. seeing TSB only twice but seems her medicine is doing well for me.. Hopefully can strike naturally under her.. making my left fallopian tube to produce eggs and dont be lazy.. hahahah/.. crossing fingers & pray hard...

After hearing from hazel & you, I admit you scared me about one splitting into two identical twin.
Though I love twin, I am not prepared at all and dare not dream.
Anyway I believe I will not for that time because in my first pregnancy, I have 2 sacs but lost the other twin.
Even up to today, I am still nervous and afraid. Hehe

Wondersss how do u feel if her med works for u? I can't feel anything

Hmmm, cos she ask me how i felt after taking her medicine so i told her lo.. after drinking her 2nd visit medicine, i start to have EWCM which i seldom have in the past and feel i can sleep better and early but is jus thirsty easily.. U see her quite sometime liao right?

I saw Dr tan yesterday...he said that from my SIS test findings, i seem to have uterine synechiae which was caused by my previous D&C due to MC.....it will be difficult for me to hold pregnancy..that is why i have been having MCs....He advised me to do a hysteroscopy next month and he said after that it will be easier to conceive..

Baby sparkles, if u are worried u can ask Dr to let u go for SIS. I asked for it previously because I had an op to remove polyp before and wanted to make sure there was no scarring, etc before starting the 2nd ivf. The procedure is painless and supposed to be accurate.

Hi blessedzn, You have to called and they dont entertain walk-in. I called to make appointment before CNY and was slot to see her in mid-Feb. So i dont think you can just walk in.Her medicine is brewed type but powdered form u have to check with them.

It is done like an ultrasound except they also inject a saline solution into ur uterus at the same time. The image is more clear and they can piece together a 3D image to see if there are growths or scars in ur uterus. It is as painless as normal ultrasound. And not tt expensive (think abt $200?). If u suspect u may have anything in ur womb or u have op there before, u might want to consider going...

@miracle_baby, twins has higher complications and risks so must monitor closely. My doc say the results is not optimal but fantastic as in his view womb condition is design for 1 bb at a time. But he say do not worry too much for the time being. He was saying I still got 6 blasts frozen and continue to smile at me....
If this twins pregnancy is smooth smooth I would close shop already. Don't think can handle financially.
@cheerywalnuts I stick with my doc jerry chan. After seeing him at clinic d today he ask me if I will look for gynae outside or stick with kkh then I say I will stick with kkh then he saying since now preg won't see me in clinic d already. Must transfer to clinic c subsidies Under whichever doc on duty or if want continue see him must transfer to private suite. So I verbally say ok see him and before I know it my next coming aptm is at private suite already haha. I haven't actually got time to research which gynae in private suite suitable for me. Actually I also don't know how to chose gynae.

Hi @iwantahealthybaby Congrates! So happy and excited for you too. I went back to KK 24hrs (O&G) clinic today as i an having very bad urinary tract infection which i don't have before. I am so afraid that the infections will be harmful to my babies. I was prescribed with cephalexin(antibiotics) and flagyastatin (pessary insert) as the Dr found out I have some bacteria infection. I goggle some websites though they didn't mention that flagystatins can't be used in pregnancy but it is not advisable to start in the first trimester.
So i am really don't know want to use it tonight ot not!

Depends on you. I did lap before and one yr later i asked Dr to send me for SIS. Cuz wanted to make sure the womb is all clear before embarking on ivf again. Ivf a lot of time and money, and this procedure only half hour, will give u ease of mind that implantation side is ok...
Btw I am with KKH... I feel they could be more thorough with things but I guess at the end of the day we also got to be informed patients and make suggestions to doctor where impt...

@cheerywalnuts, yes once in tps everything will be charged under private rates no subsidies. All scan and medication also private rates. As for bb that I don't know. Guess so too.

Denmeg, I believe you told the doc you are preg right? Or maybe you want to send email or try to call up your gynae in charge and check with him? Cause if don't cure your uti may also risk bb having infections right?

If twins, I think better to stay with kkh. They are more equipped to handle twins I think.

Yes I told the Dr this morning. I am also scare the infection will pass to my babies. I guess I will do what the Dr instruct to me. Just pray the infection will go off soon and won't affect the growing of my babies.
Dr Sadhana also suggested me to stay put in kk so she recommend Prof Tee to me as my followed up

@denmeg that's nice at least dr s recommend someone she think best able to handle your situation. So prob you will let prof tee handle your 9months pregnancy and delivery? Don't worry so much ok. I think kkh doc won't risk giving medicine that will harm early pregnancy mummies. Hope you recover soon.
@iwantahealthybaby it is really exciting to see both sac, pls take extra care as you r pregnant w twin. I have learnt abt two cases of twin pregnancy but only one survive at the end. So pls pls take care, anything, immediately look for doctor.

@santhiya86, is good that the root cause is found, hysteroscopy is a simple operation, I just done it last Thursday also. Hope that you will get pregnant soon after the operation

Denmeg, Prof tee is nice! Just chit chat w him on Jan when my mum went for yearly routine check. He was my ex gynae before transferring me to his gd friend, sf loh.. and yes, he still remembered me.. btw he has an email address which he will reply too. I used to email him previously.

@santhiya86 i had lap ans hysteroscopy 2 weeks ago -sf Loh removed endo and cyst through lap ans synecchiae through hyseroscopy
I also had synaecchie last year after my Mc it was a complete one which is my cervix was closed and menses voulu not come down
Loh told me last week only that once removed it does not come back but also ...
According to him it does not prevent embryo implant if its a small one except if you re not lucky And embie tries to stick right at the synaecchiae spot
Anyway according to my readings to implant properly better to have beautiful inside so better to remove !

@Tinga yes that's why I also fearful. All complications is doubled when joy doubled. So now just taking it easy. Looking forward every scan to see both doing well.
@mbbhopeful Haha gd idea on the nick. Actually initially me and hubbs planning for one child only. feel that if one we can provide him or her everything at comfort level. Doesn't want anyone to suffer as a result of not sufficient cash in future. The cost of education and medication in SG is crazy. Then when I realise I got 10 blasts I got this greedy thoughts of persuading hubbs for another 1 after maybe 1st child turns 2years old. Doesn't want to waste the frozen babies. But again if this is what planned for me by my guardian angel, I will accept this challenge and do my best!
@denmeg it's good to sleep early. Once feeling abit tired must get rest. Me still ok, in fact still having problem sleeping. My TCM doc say maybe won't have symptoms so early. So shall monitor. My only symptoms if have is waking up to urinate at night.

hi sistas.. i had been a silent reader and to be honest, whenever i feel down and upset seeing frens around me getting preggie, u ladies msges inspire me that theres still hope. i will be embarking on this ivf journey next month but im torn between kkh or nuh. nuh. nuh i'll be choosing prof wong and kkh will be dr thh. any advise? thks..

hi ladies,
anyone went thru or going to embark on short protocol? My first and wld like to know what to expect
Roughly u will do stimulation injections starting fr d2 or 3 of ur period until ur follicles are big enough, then doc will give a hcg injection to induce maturation, followed by an op to remove the eggs. This stage takes mb 10 to 14 days. The eggs will then be fertilised w ur hubby's sperm, then transferred back into u. The date of transfer depends on hospital protocol... Then after tt u wait....

Hi_Mei low or high don't matter. What matters is it doubles or increase at least 66% ... u are preggy. Congrats!
