Yvejen,, that shld be ur medisave money claim. Other hospitals can actually allow u to deduct directly from medisave. Only TFC still hasn't set up the system to do so.

Govt grant will be on top of the 6, 5, 4k that u mentioned.

Brchow, thanks for the encouragement... Although i really want to bfp n be a mummy but thinking of going for second round of fresh cycle and the chances of failure really abit freak me out!!
Esp when doc say chem pregnancy will happen again

summer, so we all blocked tube buddies,.. since u got implant but suay is eotpic means u got super high chances ...so dun depress & be POSITIVE!
 
Summer, u are not the sway one leh. I also had chopped off both tubes due to 3x ectopics lor. So u still stand a higher hopes to strike both natural or via ivf

the doc spoke to me. Hv to test for ovulation these 2 days (they gave me the opk) n continue to take the progynova. Über stresssssss
 
Summer, Ya...higher chance of ectopic again via natural. That's y i had repeated ectopics. Haiz...anyway is past liao. As long you look forward, all the positive things will happen. Good luck gal. Very soon you will be in 2ww le.
 
just want to check with sistas out there--- any difference in the hospitals ie, nuh or sgh or CARE or tfc--- once bfp, when do the doctors send you to see a OB doctor? like for nuh--- any experience to share? thanks!

At nuh, if under prof wong, i'm told that he'll see you till about end of 1st trimester.. If under dr chew or dr anupriya, you can choose to be with them all the way till delivery..
 
Sisters, no bb dust to share with u. Yet again, another upset failure.
Really dunno y AF doesn't come which is very unlike the last 2 failed attempts.
Mind in a blank state...dunno what to do next.
 
Dreambear: cant really rem...but yah...i am no. 28 and was sitting outside while waiting for my turn. initially thought would be very fast but i still end up waiting till 8 before it is my turn...
 
Yvejen: Hugz Hugz..sayang sayang...sorry to hear that..i cna imagine how disappointing it is..did the doc say anything or explain why?? maybe for the time being, just dun think abt what to do...just leave it and spend some time with hubby to let him comfort you? if u feel like emptying ur emotions, just do so ...that will make u feel better...

Ladies, did any of u do lining scratching b4? Can enlighten me coz im gg to do so in mon n feel a bit scared.
 
Yvejen. We've been thru all the difficulties and we do understand what u r feeling now. Take a really good break or do something which u really like to keep ur minds off from all these until u feel much better. Take care dear.

I haven have a chance to speak to the dr yet as the nurse told me to come back for a review after AF comes.
I'm not sure at this point. I am contemplating on doing the lining scratch and removing my cysts. Shall See what the Dr says.

Laki_gal, just wanna check with you how many times have you embark on this journey b4 ur gynae recommend you this procedure?
 
yvejen, for my fresh cycle i didnt proceed w ET coz of ohss so i waited for bout 2 mths then proceed w my FET in nov. During tat time, my doc already wan me to proceed w d scratching coz she said there some studies showed tat scratching improve implantation but dh n i feel tat we shld juz gve it a try w/o scratching. So i juz proceed w ET n bfn

So dis time round, my dh insists me to do so i juz go ahead n listen to her, so mon i will b doing then nxt mth, will proceed w my FET. Just to let u knw tat, mostly d scratching need to do a mth b4 u proceed w ivf. D nurse told me d scratch will cause some hormones n aid in implantation. But still will like to knw if any ladies here done it b4.
 
Yvejen: sorry to hear that. just wait for your AF to report then do review w doc. arm yourself w a list of questions to ask doc like what I did today. we need to con't the fight
so that we do not look back n said "I shud hv done that".

lynx_sea/wonderss: went bk for review today n will embark on my cycle in Apr.
1st cycle confirm no nd to pay cash. nurse said chk under your name in invoice at the end of every page n if reflect $0 means no nd to pay.
My Apr cycle will be short protocol still but i will have to do 3 jabs: pergoveris (replaced puregon for poor responders) + saizan + orgalutran. cost will b more ex than my 1st cycle.
at max $12k. confirm hv to top up cash then.
my thyroid level is normal now. AMH 2.3 ng/ml, FSH 5.3, LH 4.88 iu/l n progesterone lvl 0.71 nmol/l.
my embie didn't implant at all HCG only 1.2 n endo lining was 9mm triple.
i ask y din implant n dr said there r natural chemicals in our womb which din go well w embie. The embie din 'talk' to womb i.e. no interaction at all hence no implantation....
Btw, my doc dun recommend DHEA cos side effects n not really necessary for me. DHEA must take at least 6 mths to c effect.

Wat is the size of ur cyst? Is it blood cyst?
I got cyst before too. My gynae told me must remove before embark on ivf. I went for keyholes surgery to remove it. Mine abt 9cm for the last cyst.
 
Ladies, i saw u all kep mention bout AMH level, can i check w u all which levels will consider to b ok?

purpledragon, im hving d same thots as u. Yest dh was asking wat if preg n will d scratching cause any effects? Mayb b4 start of procedure, better to ask nurse to double confirm, juz to play safe.

Oh ok will go n check d results for my amh level.
 
laki_gal: i ask doc today n he said AMH is your ovarian reserve. less than 1 not good. for lining scratching, they norm will do a urine test 1st b4 proceeding.

Ya since u gals will be in the later part of ur cycle, better to check with the doc whether will check for pregnancy before going ahead with the procedure.. Good luck gals!

http://www.drmalpani.com/amh.htm and the range that min shows differs a bit. i think in singapore, we follow min's one in NUH. this was the same that dr loh also follows. he mentioned that nuh standard of normal amh is 6.5 pmol/l. min, that was v useful, thks.. cos i have been wondering if dr made a mistake when he said that and when i compare with the internet one.

actually, my amh is normal, but i also not alot of eggs stimulated. so i think maybe not so accurate, depends on indi response to stim drugs. the dr can see in ea scan in yr natural cycle, hw many follicles u have. and they will roughly know hw many eggs u can have in yr ivf cycle. think the scan is more accurate.

Lin: my dr oso say my failed ivf cld be due to genetic abnormality. So I said if oredi is genetic defective, no point trying lor. Then she replied but not all defective. So I juz gotta keep trying. Well, I guess we juz haf to keep trying.

Tink i will try test on hpt before going hospital. Maybe bloodtest? But will ask doc abt it when i'm there. 29 jan i be gg for counselling and paper works.

Glad it was of help.. Hubby and i went for a fertility talk at kkh when we started ttc-ing.. It was mentioned that caucasians have higher ovarian reserve than asians, and our genetic make-up is also different, so sometimes some info on internet may not be so accurate for us..

lin: kkh reading is in ng/ml so u can take the readings on the right. if i convert my readings, it would be abt btwn the range of 15.7 - 28.6.
i'm w HH TAN in kk. like lynx-sea said, even if genetic, not all embies r defective, so dun give up.

My AMH 1.5 nia. It's ok lah, we need quality & quantity. K produce abt 20 eggs k liao. Even 50% fertilisation rate, we still hv 10??? My own theory nia...

Bluenosebear > I reached abt 7pm yesterday at Dr Zou's clinic. When I reached, I waited to use e toilet. Were u the sister with long n curly hair who came out of the toilet??

No prob.. Anyway don't have to worry.. I remember you retrieved abt 30 eggs right? And you're going for FET.. I believe there are a lot of factors besides amh.. Although mine is normal, i also dunno how it will be after stimulation.. Trying not to worry abt it and just go with the flow when the time comes..
