Baby, Looking forward, me too having AF symptoms since after ET, slight cramps & sore boobs. But not sleepy..just restless.

I used the iPhone app- P tracker lite to keep track. Is a rough estimation. So you would roughly know when is AF coming depending on the cycle day.

Ya, mine is regular too.. But the jabs already mess up the dates.. So I dunno my AF date...

KK say will call between 2-5pm... but nurse ask me to contiune my insert... it like AF starting that is coming out in brown discharge... it like mixed with cyclogest discharge.... but the color is like dark brown look awful....if i fail this wrong I will rest for few mth then I start. I dnt kw what I can do now. WHat went wrong.
1st fresh I stay guai gaui at home during 2ww. Then this 1st FET I didnt rest well cos dad was hospitalise and I hv to travel up and dwn and go back to work as usual. I told god as long as my dad recover, even I dnt hv bb this time I dnt mind...Maybe that why I fail. Another thing is my company is shifting office, if I pass I hv to move around to help...hai...

Faithfully, it does not matter if tubes are blocked when u do Ivf. Blocked tubes mean the eggs when released cannot move Down the tube to meet the sperms n thus wun be fetilised. With Ivf, eggs are retrieved directly from the ovary, so will skip the tubes. Same for FET, embyros are placed directly into the womb.
Of course tubes can be unblocked but if I r doing Ivf, there is no need to unblock the tubes.
But if endometrosis is not cleaned up n if is in the womb, will hinder implantation n hence success rate.

As wa my dr say my endo cannot be clean up... I didnt ask her more details. I also nv ask her whether it will be in m womb too cos I thou endo oni will happen at my tubes. She oni tell me my endo is from moderate to severely... I thou if I can unblock it so I can try naturally. I dnt kw wa cos it to fail in IVF.

If it's endo, it usually can be cleaned up in a laparoscopy. Maybe not completely but can be done, although can recur. The one that cannot be clean up at all is adenomyosis cuz the blood has "seeped" into the uterus muscle. Both will affect fertility.

Fatefully, Like wat other sisters shared, endo can be cleaned up via laparscopy (key hole surgery). May not be completely but at least can improve. Dr loh did a laparscopy for my gf a few mths bk to remove an ovary cyst. During the process, he helped to clean up the endo for her as much as possible. Not completely as it goes too high up for her. Endo will usually recur after after 6 mths if surgery. So, dr will always advise patients to do ivf immediately during this time frame after the patients hv recurred from the laparscopy.
If better to clean up endo as much as possible. U can goggle online. Endo will affect fertility as it hinders implantation. Maybe u shld seek 2nd opinion. If not, is v emotional n financially draining to keep trying Ivf. But Once u hv a healthy wOMB, u are already half way to success.

Unblock tubes yes u can try naturally, but there is still other hurdles such as sperm must meet egg n must be able to fertilize it. The sperm must be good too n so is the egg. Then embyro must successfully implant. Too much factors involved for successful pregnancy.
but if u do Ivf n endo has already been cleaned up as far as possible, u already addressed the sperm quality n ferilisation factors. The embyro with the best grade will also be put back into the womb for implantation to occur. So, in a way isn't it easier to succeed as u compared to trying naturally?

Looking forward, I m 38 this year. I hv been reading up on all these maybe coz I hv an interest in it so i will find out more. I dun generally do something if I dunno wat it is all about.
Fatefully, actually u dun need to do laparscopy to find out if ur tubes are blocked. A tube blockage test, which is not expensive can conclude if u hv blockage. If I were u, I would hv asked back then if the laparscopy concluded that the tubes r blocked, wats next. I dun undrstsmd why your dr didn't unblock the tubes for u at the same time since she is already doing a laparscopy for u. This dr is from where?
To share with u, when I visited a KKH O&G gynae for rountine check up 1 yr into marriage, was 34 yrs then. I did a BT to check I m ovulating well, then I did a mm abdominal scan n pap smear to ensure womb r ok. All gd, I was put on clomid for 3 mths to increase my fertility. Nothing happens, I was asked to take another 3 mths clomid. Still nothing. The gynae asked if if I wan to check if my tubes r blocked, in the process, he can see the womb in more details too. He proposed laparscopy as he said if tubes r blocked or I hv endo, he will clean all these during the laparscopy.
I knew laparscopy is a key hole day surgery n it is ex n carry risks. I told him no. I will only do the surgery when he has confirmed I hv these issues through other cheaper tests which I hv already read up wat they r too. So, I went for the tube test check where a dye is injected from vagina via a tube put inside the vagina to rye womb n dye water is pumped into the tubes n scan pictures are taken to see if the dye water can flow out of the tubes easily. I passed the test. For endo, I told the dr, I dun hv painful cramps n bleeding every mth n my cycle is regular. Wat r the chances of me having endo then? Not high at all.
Luckily, I nv listen to him n do laparscopy. Is afterall a surgery, cost aside, there r risks n pains n needs 3-4 wks to recover completely. Moreover, I scar easily, cannot let dr anyhow touch the internal womb unless is necessary. If not, later got scars, it will be troublesome as need to fix them.
That is why I like dr loh. He is a v experienced fertility gynae (not just an O&G gynae). He does not ask patients to do unnecessary tests. But he is particular if our wOMB has polyps, cysts, endo, etc, coz all these affect Ivf success rates.

My doc is Dr. Marianne fro KKH. When I wa to go for a fertility checkup, I was choose to see her... then follow my IVF. She did suggest me to go for the ink dye process or the lapscope. Cos she say if I hv block tube she can help me to unblock it. But who know she found out that I have endo and she did help me to clear some but not all... and I cant rem what she told me ab my tube... I oni know it like block.

Miracle_happens, abdominal scan usually cannot see unleas they r big enough. Vaginal scan is closer to the womb n gives a clearer view, so usually can see. But if the polyps or cysts r small, those 2-3mm kind may go undetected also. If u hv ever done a tube blockage check with involve the dye water or SIS scan which involves the saline water, it us quite Safe that these growths r ruled out.
I wasted one year of trying on my own not knowing I hv tiny polyps. hub was quite upset with the O&G gynae who nv pick them up from the start coz he always did abdominal scan. So he nv see any. He only found out when I did the tube test where the report said I hv polyps. I asked him to remove for me, is a simple procedure via vagina. He said no need coz womb so big. I wun be so lucky the embyro will plant on the polyps. When I was referred to dr loh a yr later, he scanned via V n he immediately saw the polyps. He sent me off to do SIS as he wanted to hv a clearer view of my womb. After that, he said remove before Ivf! Hub was really upset when he heard that. He said the earlier gynae wasted our time. But then again, a normal O&G dr and a fertility dr defintely will hv differing views when it comes to fertility matters. If not, why DI we need a gynae specializes in fertility then?
SIS can uncover alot of stuff in the wombs. I did many times. Even after a m/c, I hv to do to make sure my womb didn't scar from d&c. Dr loh is super gentle n careful when he did D&C coz our womb cannot afford to scar if we still wan to conceive n hold a healthy pregnancy.

Sorry to hear bout ur results n your accident. It's defn the hormones surging causing u to be on emotional roller coaster. Try tell urself that u r feeling so upset bcos of hormones n you dun need to feel this way.
As for accident, it's part n parcel of driving. No one knows when it'll happen, that's y it's an accident. There are too many "what-ifs" in this world, so dun berate yourself. Instead, Why dun we think of good side n thank God that no one got hurt. $7k is indeed inflated, why dun just leave this to insurance to settle. No point getting upset with evil people. Cheerios k... Pamper urself abit, have a good meal, go shopping. Think good things.

Looking forward, I got pregnant under dr loh at first fresh cycle, lost my elder girl at 20 wks. Her heartbeat stopped without a reason. Till now, still a mystery. I had enough Embiees to do one natural FET, m/c at 8 wks. These all happened last yr. Both pregnancies were smooth with no spotting & bleeding.
Did 2nd fresh cycle in April this year. Pregnant with another bb girl, Due after cny 2012.
I m working full time from D1.

Thanks. Tml going back to work and seeing Dr at subsidized clinic opp CARE. Is a follow up from my previous gynae b4 he refer me to CARE. Wonder if i can eat clomid for the next 2 mths after a failed cycle. Thinking to buy conceive well too. Going to be more kiasu and try again next year. Cant go shopping la. on HL. later see office pp. more unlucky. Haha.
After the failed cycle, feels like hopeless. The feeling is like a void in the heart that can't be fill. Hubby is nice and says try again naturally That time when he went HK during my ER and ET, he brought me back a Song Zi Guan Yin from huang da xian temple. Hope it will bring me luck for my next try. Really admire the gals who failed their cycle and got back again. Is not easy. So we must jiayou together.

Hi Fatefully, don't worry the reading is consider positive. Had the same experience as you, my first BT HCG level is 156, repeated test give me a BFP.

Hey sorry to hear abt the accident usagi..don't blame yourself, it's an accident and no one wants to happen. My hb and i were almost in 2 separate accidents here a few years ago. Once we almost hit the mountain side while negotiating a bend (he drove too fast) and the other time it was a very icy and slippery road that resulted in our car spun around and ended up on the other side of the road..close shave! So thank God it's just a bump to the bumper..and yes leave it to insurance to do the rest. In future just keep a safe distance from the car in front..much more esp on rainy days
hazel can find a not still? Btw, you heard of mozart bb cd not? It's supposed to give you and bb to listen and it's good for the brain development of the bb inside you and you to relax hehe

JoynFaith i've read somewhere b4 that sometimes, even though dry, you might be in your fertile period still..try lubricating gels? Got BD got chance mah..
oh yeah ladies taking egg whites..i made some today using the hot water method tromso suggested and i added some brovil soup essence to it for some taste..well not exceptionally good but i think the brovil made it much more bearable for me to drink the mixture...just to share..hehe

Fatefully - congrats and be positive. Hcg doubles every 48-72 hours, so if you were supposed to test only on 18Nov, that means yur levels would be around 400 on your actual BT day. Anything above 5 is positive but different days test obviously different levels, right?
I think KKIVF considers 250 at original test day as stable positive. Des not mean if below will not be a viable pregnancy. Take care of your body now, stay happy and positive.

I was worried too cause considering my testing on 16th day is 156. If urs is less than 16 days, reading lower might b possible...my re-test was 4 days after means day 20, my reading became 921.

Hi Moo3moo, sorry for late reply, been very busy with my house renovation and my dateline work ;p Must really finish my work before taking another leave again. Im going for natural FET. Dr. Loh only ask me to take more folic acid. You are now in 2ww. How are you feeling? Are you still working or taking leave?
Hi Usagi, Im sorry. But i hope you can have another try. Don't give up and think positive side that your husband is very supportive of you. I always believe God will grant our wish when He think the time is right. Many ladies here have tried a couple of times before bless with one. I also failed the first time. But Im blessed with one after 2nd try. Im now trying to have another one after failing 2 cycles. You can do it
