Heartbeat : My eggs grew 1 mm daily. Towards the end, they shot up quite fast towards the end. I drink chicken essence, eat protein and did acpuncture to improve my egg quality/ quantity.

Sunbelle : Fet use cash better.. Use grant not worth it - keep for fresh more worthwhile. I think I will try to ask for longer HL for my Fet to rest during the crucial weeks.

Sorry to hear that.. just rest well and see a TCM to "tiao" ur body. U can try naturally for nw to the next appt. I have a friend who did her IVF in June but BFN and she conceive naturally in July while waiting for the next appt of IVF in Oct. So thing will happen naturally... it weird but it works.
 
Hi tanny, sorry to hear that. Do rest and "bu" yr body first before FET. Dr zou always tell me many of her cases who conceive naturally in between next ivf.
 
Tanny, you are very strong! Have a good rest and then JY again! Sure will succeed one. Thanks for the info on the egg growth part. I m also doing all that you mentioned. Unused puregon think if keep a short few months can still use but if you got FET in between then maybe too long? Got ask doc? Or try IUI with the left over?

Hi Tanny, boy, you're brave. The last round when I BFN, I cried for a few days.. Even though I already succeeded once. Ready & prep urself. Like Fatefully, I also had a friend who conceived naturally after 1 round of IVF.

Hope283, our BT dates are near. I hate the wait too. Experienced once success & once failure, I'm having quite mixed feelings now too. Hubby's very nice, took leave, bought lots of HK Serials for me but somehow I also worry... Sighzzzz.... Press on okie? Keep smiling!!

aiya, im not really that strong. hah.. i cried too - the day when the spotting became heavier. cried whenever when there is nobody. when eating lunch at hawker centre today while my hubby is buying his food and i eating mine, suddenly think abt it and tears came to my eyes automatically. cannot be controlled. *hai* sigh*. when i got the result at O&amp;G, i was so calm. the nurse just tell me its <1.2. and she asked if i wanna see doc. i told her no need, and asked her whats the passing rate. she tell me " got 1000 plus also hv" . so duh. of course i know got 1000 plus.

i emailed dr loh and in his reply to me, he is so nice to say "sorry for the bad news" before replying my question. so nice hor, so personal, not like that nurse...

i wanna ask for fet, my embbies are now grade 3. if after thaw, become grade 2, then how? is it cannot used, so the cycle is aborted?
 
Hi tanny, not many words to say, but this is how this journey is. Very stressful, hv to face many obstacles, but it's not the end. Once u get a baby in ur hand, u will forget all these. Donno why we had to pass through these situations, I jst ask Him to give us all enough strength and patience to face these issues and succeed one day. U cry heartful, that way ur pain will be out atleast. And yeah 3 months is jst a bit away, discuss with ur doctor abt wat will be changes in the next protocol.

Abt thawing, they generally take out around 3-4, so defntly u will have some good embryos to transfer.

I am new here. I see that many of you are with Dr Loh at Kkh. May i know what should i do to register with Kkh under Dr Loh? For first appointment does my hubby need to meet Dr Loh tog?

Hi tanny you are under a good hand by dr loh. I under dr tan HH neither can I email or make appt to see him. If I have any enquiry can only check with you all or call the nurse. You have a good rest and try naturally. As our body still have all the hormones. Jia you.
 
Hi Tanny, sorry to hear about ur case. Cry if you want and hope you will move on after that. We will only get more brave after each obstacle.
How many embbies do you have? I only have 3 and they are also of grade 3. Am worried whether they will survive the thaw and afraid they will be graded 2 after the thawing. After hearing from Dr Zou about a successful case of a 40-yr old lady who transferred a grade 2 embryo, I see a glimpse of hope. She mentioned that the grading is subjective cos it's the embryologist's judgment based on the number and evenness of the cells. So not to worry about the grading. More imptly is the embryos to survive the thaw.
Which tcm doc are you seeing? Continue to tusk ur body in preparation for ur FET. I believe tt if we don't give up, we will get to our dream eventually.
 
Tanny, cry it out... I did that also when I failed my last FET... I cried so hard! Dh also cried with me. You are not alone in this journey. We are here to support one another. But please don't take too long to mourn over it because time files pass very quickly before you know it, 1 mth, 2 mth, and 3 mth will pass... Give yourself an opportunity to try naturally before coming back for the next FET.

Grading is not important. Don't think too much over it. Each embroyo should be given a chance to grow.

Chocolate, Dr Zou also shared with me about the 40 yrs old lady bfp by transferring a grade 2 embryo and also another lady bfn when transferred 2 grade 1 and Dr Loh was very confident that this lady can bfp but did not.
 
Hi everyone, I just started my 1st IVF too at KK.
Tomorrow is D10 and going back for a 2nd scan tomorrow to see how the follicles are growing.

Hi Ladies, I did my first IVF treatment in NUH.. Was tested Positive during the BT but it only lasts me 2days.. I had cramp and bleeding.. So I called the clinic and was told they have already given me the pregnancy support. Nothing much they can do..

It continue to bleed till I went back to do another BT, the result turned out to be negative.. I break down and cry from hospital to home.. We went thru so much and it turned out to be a short happiness.

My good frd recommend me to see TCM, and when I went there, the doc told me my body is not ready for bb. Even if I can get thru the first mth, it won't lasts more than 3month.

I guess now I have to tio my body before going thru the whole race again..
 
Tanny, sorry about your news. Take care and build up your body system before going for FET. You might want to try TCM and at the same time try natural. Left over Purgeon should be the same as Gonal-F to be able to keep one month after open in cooler.

Chocolate, are you starting your FET soon? My spotting has started so I guess AF is reporting soon. Same here like you am worried whether my snowbabies will survive thaw but is out of our control. Are you taking Dr Zou's Med during your AF while waiting for FET? Are you on medicated or natural FET?

JoynFaith, I hvnt seen Dr Loh yet so do not know when i will start my FET. I m not taking Dr Zou's medicine, only going for acupuncture. Are you seeing her too? Me not sure whether I can go for natural FET cos this month I don't seem to ovulate.
Today already day 19 and no positive opk yet. Used to ovulate on day 16 or earlier every month before the failed cycle.
Any ladies facing ovulation issue after the failed cycle too? If dont ovulate after failed cycle, do we need to take medicine to induce menses and are we able to go on natural FET the next month?

Mi taking the chance to rest n nurse my health. On n off still experience the heat rashes. wanted to go on trip but saving money n leave for doing next round. Sometimes I feel that we alreadly walked til this step, heaven will know n be touched to give us a healthy baby.

Hi Tanny, you have been a strong lady whom I admire. Thank you so much for your sharing on the cost of FET. yes, will use cash for FET cos Bo hua. still thinking on how many days off to take away from office. yeah if another two weeks, surely invite lots of questioning again.

Chocolate Soh: yeah the cycle will go heywire according to dr Loh due to the injections. I din even keep track cos dr loh say might not ovulate. but we try as and when we want to have fun. Who knows? Scarli we strike naturally haha

Babyjourney, some sistas go to the polyclinic to get a referral letter to go KKH. For me, I did not know about that route until I have started. What I did is, call a gynae specialised in ivf and get started...
 
Hi sunshine, u r right, I did transfer on 12 th sep, however that was a 4 day (blastocyst) transfer. So I am counting 4 days extra.

The 1st week after my ET, I hv very bloated tummy and feeling nausea everyday. Now my tummy reduced and it bk to normal, but I hv some cramps for few days and gastric pain(which I hardly hv), nausea still there... I hv appetite to eat thou but I still hv the nausea feeling like something wrong with my gastric.

My feeling towards my 1st ivf, I am totally not prepare as in mentally. I just follow the flow, read the forum, eat wa the gals say and do wa the dic and nurses ask me too. Even I go for scans or BT I dont even kw wa to expect ( feel like a dumb). Until I start to feel very uncomfy on the ER then ET, that 1st week I feel like living hell... But I didn't cry. I was so worry for my body then the embbies inside me, cos I hv slight OHSS and there is fluid outside my tummy. Doc actually wa to stop me from doing for d2 transfer cos she say I will get even bloated after ET. I was worried but I couldn't care less. I almost wa to give up, I told my embbies "u guys just try ur best, even if either of u didn't make it thru mummy won't blame u". I didn't kw wa to do when I hv OHSS that time even if I go hospital they also can't do much. All I do was to drink lots of fluid. Nw it my 2nd week the bloated is gone but I still feel nausea but I still can eat. Backache sometime, cramp sometime. Then few days ago I start to worry with all this symptoms coming along, then I told my embbies " mummy is actually bluffing to myself, in fact I wish either one of u make it thru, I just need 1 bb, I kw it hard but pls be strong and try, like wa mummy is doing now, trying to eat well and stay well". But all in all it all fated. I can't push my luck.

I even dreamed my AF came... I woke up feeling worry. I told my hub but he just say I always hv weird dreams. I kw it hard to stay positive but I am trying to do things that can distract me for awhile.

Thanks for your reply. what is the difference between getting a referral letter from polyclinic and going to KKH directly? what is the waiting period at KKH like? I am want to go to Dr Loh @ KKH.
 
Hi all my ER is on Wednesday and ET is on fri. A little worry cos MS African said I have abt 5 is ready maybe Wednesday have another abt 4.
 
Hi bb journey I took letter from polyclinic. Cannot chose Dr. Some of the fee or medication is subsidy. Procedure is not. You may want to call kkhivf to check with them in the afternoon. Morning usually super busy one. Cos their appt or procedure is all in the morning
 
Hi ladies, have a qn regarding fet, how many times of ultrasound do you have to go through and how frequent do you have to scan before fet takes place? Tia.
 
Jaded, the scan is to check the lining thickness. On the first scan, doctor will check your lining thickness. Give you medicines and ask you to go back. Go back to see him again (I think) about 10 days later. Once the doctor said ok to go FET, then that will be the last scan. Else, it will be another scan until lining thickness has grown to the ideal thickness before FET can proceed. This is based on my experience. Different clinic may have different frequency of scanning and also depend on your body condition.

Chocolate : I have 3 grade 3 embbies. Also same worry as you. During my fresh, 5 of my embbies are grade 2 and did not make the mark, all in a day! From Dr Zou description, seems that kkh also can transfer grade 2 embby?

Now I can go out to jalan jalan! Last 2 days of my leave..

I think for now will start on some exercise...
 
Hi ladies,

I am new to this thread. failed 2iuis so planning to do ivf soon. today is day 2 of my menses, gg to c the doc tomorrow. is it possible to do ivf for the next cycle or i have to wait till oct/nov?
 


Fuyutsuki, ivf cycle takes abt 2 mths. Suppression first then when yr next period start, then begin stimulation injections from day2 of cycle.

Suppression can be via birth ctrl pills or injections.
