Oh yes! That one is very good for reading. I read twice. An ex-coll who read and then conceive twice later on passed it to me. I agree its very peaceful and I appreciate the prayers for conception and the testimonials and how she (Jackie) had a wonderful delivery. I agree that everything to leave it to God's hands. Just depend on his strength and he will do the rest!

Hi Sisi, That time the nurse also never call me. I called them instead. At about 5 and ask for the level. So u can ask them.

Ladies just to let you know that if your progesterone level is not good dun be discourage. For my successful pregnancy, my progesterone level also not good. I have to increase the dosage. But it turns out well towards the end

Hi Kimmy, Hahaha same story as me. My fren pass it to me when she had 3 unpainful normal delivery after she read the book. Considering her skinny and pettite size Im amazed that she can deliver naturally.
 
Hi sister, just for your info for those who are planning to embark for IVF, my DH saw a research showing that by consuming folic acid before planning for pregnancy for husband and wife will help to reduce the chance of DS. So folic acid is not just for the wife but also for the husband to consume.

Hopeful, that could be your progesterone and white discharge from your body. You can wear a panty liner for easy cleaning for your panty whenever you insert your progesterone.

Sisi, I did my progesterone BT in the previous afternoon, hence by then the result was out, the nurse would had knocked off. So, she told me if no call on the next day meaning I don't need extra progesterone. Guess what, I receive the call from them the next day and the nurse told me I've enough. It's scary when I saw their no. appearing in my caller ID whereby they told me they won't be calling if result was good. What a surprise and relief moment.

Hi Sisi, I think it has nothing got to do our levels. I think it's the nurse who picks up d phone. The 1st time I called, the nurse gave me all the nos. 2nd time phone call was picked by by Nurse R.. She also told me the same thing.. Hmph!!

But u r right.. No choice, got to wait till nx Fri for final BT. When is urs? I ordered HPT from the blogshop that Hazel recommended. Waiting for it to arrive.

Hi Imel thank you for your advice. I went to consult TCM. she said the my womb is too cold. I actually start taking conceive well for quite sometime.

KKH fet starts scanning on day 10.. So, for me is scan day 10, day 13, day 15... Then et on day 17, todae.. Hmm, mayb u can go earlier for scan, then go back office slightly later? Scan is quite fast.. But the waiting time for doc consultation can b quite long..
Hope ur session w Dr Loh tmr is fruitful..

Morning sisters.. Anyone else starting fresh cycle soon in august? Mine commencing next week... Feeling quite scared but looking forward to it. Aiyo so mixture of feelings but I know this is nothing compared to BT time and all the anxiety then onwards until baby is safe in our hands...

Will the injection of lucrin delay the onset of the next menses? Do we start the Puregon injection on day 1 of the next menses?
 
Hi Vyvy, Yes the lucrin jab can cause your menses come out abit late. That happens to me. My menses late by 1 week which also caused my puregon injection to be late by 1 week too.

Hopeful, or is your progesterone oral type? Or maybe your body is producing enough and don't need external.

VyVy, my next menses was delayed by a week once Lucrin jab started. My stage 2 jab was Gonal-F and nurse will advise when to start. Mine was not ready for Gonal-F on my D1 and was determined after BT.

Does anyone has red spotting/ similar to fresh red menses with little amount when near beta BT? I can't help myself thinking about it whenever I visit the toilet. I call up the nurse this morning and initially she asked me to go down for BT but later she told me to go down on next Mon since the clinic will be closed when the result is out. At this point, nothing is definite until beta day.
 
Hi Hopeful, my BT is on the 22nd, I guess becoz I had the ET on a Sunday and Sat they dun do BT.
Why u need the hpt so early? I hv no courage to test it coz some research said that BT is much accurate especially we r on early stage.
 
Spotting near beta BT must test using hpt. It is either bfn or bfp n spotting at early pregnancy. If it is the latter, better go down n ask for support early if not risk losing it n regret later.
 
Nothing to recommend lah. Any hpt will work. Cheapo online ones or ex clearblue ones. I know there is this fear or testing before beta BT. But watever the result still hv to face it. How long can we run away. Either go for early BT or use hpt to confirm is spotting or bleeding. I wld use hpt as it is faster. If it is just a few days to BT, the outcome is also out. No such thing as still early hpt cannot detect. Hpt these days r sensitive enough, regardless of wat brand

Hi Sisi, my cheap HPT yet to arrive.. I will start testing once u get it. As what hazel says. +ve or -ve we still need to move on. I just wan to ve a peace of mind asap. If preggy, then I will bed rest more.. N prepare my body for the nx stage..

Area near V has occasional pulls..

Are these normal?
 
Hi ladies, this is my first post in this forum and after being a silent reader for awhile now, I just thought that I really need to share my thoughts and feelings with ppl who can relate to how I feel at this point in time..it's almost the end of my 2ww as my beta test is on mon. However I just started spotting today..just like I always do before my af.. even though I hadn't held much hope in succeeding the first time round in ivf (somehow I just knew that it's not successful even when much earlier into my 2ww), I still couldn't help but feel sad n disappointed upon seeing my spotting...n its such a dread for me to go for the test on mon just to get an affirmation that it didn't work this time round...after putting in so much effort n going through so much...not even my own husband can truly understand how I feel now..
Btw, I'm truly happy for those who had succeeded, its truly heart warming to know that your efforts have finally paid off

Hi Jaded, some of us here are also not 1st time lucky, so you are not alone. We have to try several time to strike lottery. For my case due to my fellopian tube block, the doctor advise me to go for IVF straight away because no point to go for surgery and try naturally as Im not young anymore. When I failed the first time, its at new years eve. I tried to smile and laugh as if its nothing because I dun want my family feel sad for me. But once my husband and I inside the room, we cried together. Actually husband knows what we have gone thru but they just dunno how to express or they tend to put the pain to themselves. Dun be sad ok, as long its just spotting not full blown, u r still in the game. For me 2nd try strike, but my cousin tried 8 times and finally she got tripplet. I applaud her strong and never give up attitude. Because as long you dun give up there's always chance

Hopeful, glad you've realised it's oral progesterone. I also don't know why I was given as insert. Maybe they know I might get OHSS, so insert is a better choice. During 2ww, I'm emotion at times. I remembered once I teared over a news when Butan's 4th King said he loves his people. I was surprised with my behaviour. It's due to hormones change in our body.

Jaded, thanks for sharing your feel and I can understand it totally. I read a paragraph somewhere that is state below and make me more relief. So, try to bring your stress level to minimum and don't think too much right now until your beta BT. You can hpt if this will help relief your worries.
"At this point, nothing is definite until you have your pregnancy test done. Bleeding, even bleeding like a period, can be normal after an IVF cycle and occurs quite frequently. Many of these will turn out to be normal pregnancies, but some will be a failed cycle. Without the blood test you cannot distinguish one from the other. At this point you can only hope for the best."
 
Hi Geminy, we are only 2 days part.

Thank you JoynFaith and Imel for informing me about the menses delay. So I suppose the ER will only take place about 4 weeks after the 1st lucrin jab (maybe on 12th sept). Oops, I kept telling my colleague that I will be on leave for the 1st 2 weeks of sept. Oh well, I guess I will have to tell them that I postponed my vacation then.
 
Hi all, just got discharged this afternoon from kkh due to ohss. Haha, I thot it couldn't be ohss since they only retrieved 12 eggs and I din have any symptoms during puregon jabs. But O&amp;G 24h did blood test and admitted me for observation. Stayed for 2 nites in the end.. sigh.

Hi Imel, my doc changed my jab from pregnyl to daily progesterone until BT day on Fri. Now I have to find nearby GP to help me inject since the pharmacist n nurse told me I can't do intramuscular jabs myself. Btw, I think there's another Moomoo, more senior than me in this forum (mine's moo3moo hehe).

Hi Jaded, pls dun be stressed n give up. Even wif spotting, mebbe u can still get a bfp. I can't share much since this is my 1st ivf, but I believe we shd maintain optimism in this ivf journey as much as possible. It's a tough journey, even more so for some ladies, but hope this won't break anyone's spirit. Jia you!
 
hi Jaded, even if AF comes, I suggest do go and do the BT. If it is AF, sorry it didn't work out this round. I know no matter we try to prepare ourselves b4 the cycle that it may not succeed the 1st time, when reality strikes, it still cuts deep. Cry it out, take some time for yourself. You deserve it, then when you are ready, you can start thinking about your next steps, if your spotting turns out surprise bfp, let us know, ok? We will be rooting for you all the way to the ultimate goal post.
 
Joyfaith &amp; Jaded - hazel suggested this earlier those spotting (but not yet full AF) to take the hpt. I would agree too, as if it's a bfp, then you can go get immediate support tomorrow for the womb lining. If it's a bfn, then at least you know you did all you can. Take care both.

haha... for me, even with my hpt negative, when i go for the BT, i still quietly wish it is good news till the "sorry" came from the nurse then i accepted it.
no matter how prepared i am, i still cried when the confirmation came.

Hi Moo3Moo and other ladies ,

Jus wanna to share my experience yesterday. Just like Moo3Moo, I went to O n G 24 hrs clinic at the advice of IVF centre after lady told me to approach them.

My blood test results are border line OHSS n the Indian doctor wanted me to admit yesterdae for further observation. I only feel very bloated n tight. But no vomiting at all or breathless. Did ask the consequences for not admitting n was asked to sign an agreement form if I had refused to be admitted.

After discussion with Hubby, we decided to admit n even went thru the registration procedures n went to my ward n bed upstairs. of cos dun really feel too good as no one wishes to stay in the hospital.I have requested to see Dr Loh before I was admitted. But the Indian doctor say that he is not around . All questions n orientation were done after registration. furthermore, the nurse came in with all the
needles ready to poke me n put me on drip. Another nurse rushed in n surprised me that Dr Loh wants to see me.

I was so happy n ask the nurse whom was ready to poke me to put me on hold. Cos told her jokingly that I might not even need to be poked hahaha...guess what? Even the senior ward nurse hinted to me that u jus need to tell your doctor that u k eat, drink n pass urine.

Somehow, I know that from her eyes, she was telling me something. I went down to see dr Loh. He is very very nice. He scan me n checked me. N then I told him I prefer resting at home. He looked at my records how long have I been in ward . Mi say less than half an hour. then he straight away cancelled admission for me. I was so happy to go back with my hubby.

Just wanna share with all sisters there that pls check with dr Loh for the accurate assessment as I can be spending my weekend there not knowing that it is not necessary. I m really thankful to Dr Loh n also his precious advices. my bloatedness really went away by half today when I woke up.

We feedback to the ward nurse n they apologise for any
inconvenience caused. Deep down, the reactions from ward
nurses tell me is not the first time that this incident happened.
Think so long all is well is okie.

Hi ladies, I hope that by sharing my encounter yesterday will help some whom encounters problems along the ivf journey.

My poor hubby, he was very upset when he hrd that I gt to be admitted . He is teary n said that he do not wan me to undergo all these. I felt touched. The whole episode makes me feel like life after death.

I sincerely prayed that all of us will succeed in our journey of TCC as the littie ones know that we have put in efforts for them.
