Hi! Sisters,

I juz got back from kkh. They ask me to increase my duphaston to 3 times a day. The gynae at O & G was very nice. He checked to make sure all was well. Coz bleeding he was worried maybe 1 etopic but since no pains that possiblity out. He said maybe the other embryo coming out coz he saw 1 heartbeat n bb only. Will be seeing dr loh on Tuesday. So ya, I'm pregnant with singleton

Valteen; I'm not sure think 6weeks plus. Coz Tuesday I'm suppose to be 6 weeks 5 days. Will only know my actual edd n all on Tuesday.

Itjabi, I think your baby developed faster than mine. I think mine only 6 weeks 2 or 3 days. So don't worry I think your baby is strong.

Were u at 24hr clinic? I was there too. Had pinkish discharge earlier. Too early to see anytthing. He gave a jab. U referring to matthew lau? I can only hope for the best.

Sorry... for me, I have tried so hard and not successful and I thought this is a forum for thos who are trying to conceive... but here most of you are talking about your pregnancy... kind of different from the topic

queenie> yes hubby can produce either home or kkh.if produce fm home get a container fm kkh prior n bring it back w/in an hour,no nid any special care in delivery.just zip it in a zip lock bag n bring to kkh counter wen arrive.dun wori ok,we stay P.Ris still can make it to kkh w/in the hour..so ask DH drive "normal" pace no nid to kan cheong.

ltjabi, so frightened to see yr post..i can imagine your fear luckily all is well with yr bb. As long as one is healthy and growing that is our reward already. U take care & hope they give u additional progesterone support. Our pregnancy is not the same as natural type so we hv to extra careful esp got more 1 embryo inside fighting for survival too..

Val, this stage is very fragile i hv also abit of spotting too intially after BT so i took MC rest at home then no more spotting liow. i suspect if we have more than 1 bb, the progesterone may not be enuff to support so best to minimise walking & still bedrest if possible.

melodi, no lar i m not taking any leave cannot afford no one to cover me so will continue working & pray for safety. I m feeling alrite to work, MS still managable..thanks!

Hi universalstudio, yes i understand. We feel we should move out soon but since the sisters askes about us as we have been in this thread about one months plus already, so we just linger a few more days to share and discuss. I usually don't talk about own pregnancy too unless some sisters who care asked about us. Here, we share and worried for each others no matter who BFN or BFP. Example, sister just BFP few days ago see red and updates us because most of the buddies are still here so we can share and we worried for her too. Some sisters might encountered similar cases b4 so maybe can advise those who are newly BFP and give moral support and comfort. Pardon us we will move out soon like the previous batches of sister who BFP last time after linger for a few more days Really sorry to confuse you.

pinkcapri, wah nice lunch with gd company..life is gd! since u r at 12dpt, maybe can test at 13dpt which we tested with a BFP. i can fully absorb yr fear it was a time bomb for me..really dread the last days of 2WW. which stage are u in?
many have gone thru the process of trying to conceive many times b4 we bfp.
we do understand how it feels when the process is not successful..the tears,the anxiety and the phobia to go thru everything all over again.
and when we bfp doesn't mean the journey might be smooth all the way.
we go thru spotting/bleeding etc,we are sharing with those goin thru so that they will take more precautions and wnt be lost in not knowing what steps to take.
I am sorry if we make u feel bad.

After a failed 1st Ivf in march...I embarked on the natural FET...my first scan was on Tuesday and a second scan was scheduled on Friday...despite me asking why so late...and today I discovered I have already ovulated and have to abandon this cycle.

vann - one of the sisters here have her eggs trf to CARE from KKH but i can't rem who...paiseh
so far the success rate for CARE is quite high and most of the time is multiples.
u go the IVF mummies to be forum ,u ask pandawife coz she's from CARE.

queenie - as long as u can rch KKH with the "warriors" within 45mins is the best.
and make sure hubs have no fever etc and to clear 3 days b4 your ER
but they do have a room for your hubs to expel his "warriors" in peace though.hehe..good luck

hi Vann> sori tat u had a bad experience w kkh.hv u considered private? i was oso fm kkh/sf loh,changed to Care/Paragon medical Centre after some bad experienced there too..

some sisters r fm East Parkway,NUH etc..do consider other options before u embark on ur next cycle.a happier body n mind will be less stressful wen on tis ardous ivf journey..

My pregnyl (is tis the name of the jab?) is on sun nite...ER is on tues. The day pink is gg for BT.. (cos of the date similarity, do I get extra dose of baby dust fr u, pink?) haha...
I have 15 follicles in all, ranging fr 9 to 16.5... Lining is 9..

hi van: yes Care/Paragon will be moving to new premises at Novena Medical in june due to lease expiry.so u still hv frozen embryo w KKH?

i can provide u details needed coz i did transfer all my 6embryo to Care/no partial transfer avail by kkh.Process can be completed very fast provided u can get all the documents done at both kkh and Care...they nid to sign some consent forms to release the embryos/kkh (arrive before 4.30pm) n at Care..consent forms n marriage cert photocopy.

i suggest u book a date w Care/Angie-recep n speak to Angela/chief embryologist who overall runs the clinic n do the scans.Ning the nurse who helps w jab n dispenses e meds.Director is Dr Paul Tseng fm Thomson Medical Ctre.He comes in for ER/ET.

Just wanna share with you girls wat my dh did to 'release' his little man into a bottle at kkh..

The night before, i told him to search for a good Porno clip from the net.. He went in with his iPhone while watching some 'deeds' to keep that little guy down there awake.. Hehe.. Maybe can ask your dh to bring in his smartphone and watch something cos the room does not have anything helpful.. But he did say it was not as easy to do it without me around.. Haha! I feel so superior!

Queenie-When I had IUI done, bith times, the soldiers were from hme, but the journey to NUH was abt 30-40mins. Before IVF, SA had to be repeated as >1 year, so also produce at home, but result was very poor.
Prof Wong had ordered hubby's sperm to be freezed, incase of poor result on actual day of ER. So I checked with the lab staff, she did say, the distance, can play apart in the quality, so hubby produce it in NUH for the freezing & actual day. Lucky both days, the quality were ok.
Just my opinions ba. Unless hubby's soldiers quailty & quantity is nit a issue.

Move the embroyos from one hospital to another but I am getting very fed up with kkh...the logistics sucks!

Pink- Check with U, are U comfortable consulting with Angela, compare to consult a Dr? Becos in NUH, is always the Dr that see & scan me. But in CARE everything is done either by Angela (chief embryologist) or the nurse, but ER/ ET done by Dr Paul, right?

if the spotting is brown,then it's old blood and your body is passing it slowly out.
make sure u have less movement and dun carry heavy stuff.

Van> u dun hv to get everyth done in 1day.we paced our visits n u'v plenty of time to get all paperwork done.go for a consultation w Angela 1st n if u r on regulated FET u can even choose ur ET date..tatz the best part. she will then do a print out schedule for u to follow.. ur experience will b v diff fm KKh..no more long waiting time n no more frustration..so far my experience was very pleasant..12bhappy oso fm Care..u can get feedback fm her too
