Morning gals 
J03, clb and Serene, actually I tested yesterday morning since i start to have on and off AF cramp since Sat night. I tested on clearblue and the there was faint line but on guardian brand, it only show up after some time. Yesteray was feeling very moody so did not comment anything at all This morning I tested again, for clearblue, it is still the same line as yesterday and it did not get darker. In fact after 30 min, the line almost gone for clearblue so I think not much hope ba. I tested on watson brand HPT, there is faint line also. But based on my experience from past 3 IUI, most probably could be the HCG jab from my wed last jab.Mine is 1000iu so I do not know when it will leave the body. Anyway must test again tomorrow then know. But don't put too much high hope hor.

Got faint line means hv chance k.. Urs is day 13 today right.. Both clb and me also test faint line that day so is ok.. Today i test the 4th time using clearblue for the first time this wk (KS).. And the line is darker than control line as it is already dpt16 so u dun hv to worry much.. It will gets darker k.. jy!!

Hope i can sleep well tomorrow nite after the result.. Btw, is normal to hv cramp, me cramp quite many times these few days.. Hope my bb is growing well inside and is normal to cramp...

anyway, i v problematic one lah..what other pple can do i cannot do..

Yes, i didnt use the mc though my hl leave is till tomorow.. As i dun want anybody to suspect so take 5days leave for my first wk of 2ww which is the implantation wk, take 3days gp mc during my er/et period and go back to work last monday.. this release my stress as i wont think so much when working too..

this release my stress as i wont think so much when working too..clb, hee i tested again using 45min urine on CB and the line darker a bit. funny right morning urine line lighter. Anyway the line on first CB this morning disappear le.
I test negative on 9dpt, which is wed before I took my last jab. yesterday and today faint line. So might me evil Clearblue making fun of me. I will not trust too until BT.

hi gals, i tested negative tis morning @ 12dp3dt
i realised my hpt has expired jan 2011 but test it anyway. woke up at 6plus to pee n test. see negative n wenr bk to zzz. woke up at 8plus, take a look at e hpt strip n tink i saw a veri veri faint line. asked my hub too see. he agreed e line look almost invinsible. just nw went to check e same hpt again. e line was gone. i tink is negative for mi

Not to dampen anyone's spirit. Pregynl jabs will give false positive. The effects can stay in the body for as long as one week. The website has more info. My fresh cycle I was on pregnyl jabs after ET, I dun use hpt at all coz i dunno If the effect of jabs still there. I just wait till BT date. For FET I was on inserts. So I started testing on d8. Coz inserts wun give false positive.
As for hpt, clearblue lines r forever faint. Use the cheapo brand like guardian where the lines are red colour. Though it takes a while for the lines to appear, it is much clearer than clearblue, wun go away & will go darker with days.

Serene like what they said until BT then is confirm. I don't feel any confident at all too cos I am having more jab then you and my grading is currently the lowest too in this cycle. But I must have faith in them so you too. You are only 12dpt n using an expired HPT. Don't worry either you buy a new one to test again later or wait for BT. Your BT tomorrow?

Hazel don't worry. I already fully prepared it is fake positive just in case. I will still test hopefully can see the line darker and miracle happen to me. To me, when sf loh told me my eggs grading are not good and only 3 to choose, where none of the sisters here this cycle have, I already very sad n know this cycle no hope already. But I am happy to be given a chance to try. Already promised myself to try harder for the next fresh cycle.

Melodi, dun be discouraged by the grading also. My last fresh cycle embyro grading was not bad but I still miscarriage. Sis with poorer embyro quality strike twins n all went well. So, u nv know, it cld be a success. Things happen when u least expect. Pp hv been telling me dun think negative thoughts. I know is hard at times. But must try okay.
My next fresh cycle dr loh ordered luveris on d5 of gonal-f. Have been googling on the website wat this injection does.. Read it hurt much more than gonal-f & the needle is very long. But coming used in overseas fertility centers to improve egg quality & hence pregnancy where aspirins will be used also after ER... No choice, since I hv miscarriage twice already.... Sigh..

So there's hope ah...keeping fingers crossed for u de.... test tomor morn better... ur cramps more intense... hopefully is good sign de.. coz mine is more intense at night too...

Implantation Bleeding
What is Implantation Bleeding?
Implantation bleeding is lighter than menstrual bleeding, and consists of pink or brown colored blood. Implantation bleeding occurs when the trophoblast, or tissue that surrounds the egg, attaches to the endometrium and slowly eats its way into the lining. As it does so, it eats through the mother's blood vessels, forming blood lakes within itself. When these blood lakes form near the surface of the trophoblast, they often cause implantation bleeding.
Remember, the difference between period and implantation bleeding is the amount; implantation bleeding is considerably lighter than menstrual bleeding. Menses and implantation bleeding should be different enough so that you can tell. Here are some frequently asked questions about spotting:
When does implantation bleeding occur?
In natural conception, implantation happens around 5-12dpo so with assisted conception you need to take into account how old embies were when put back eg day 2 transfer, day 3 transfer etc. Only once embies have reached blastocyst stage at approx 5 days will they be ready to start implanting.

Can I still get a BFP if I don't have an Implantation Bleed?

With a blood test checking the level of hcg hormone in the blood they will be able to detect much earlier as they will obviously show the actual amount eg whether its only 1 miu or 301 miu etc etc so are obviously way more sensitive than a peestick !!
The hcg hormone is released from the embryo once its implanted...so it would depend on whether early or late implantation (which happens around 5-12dpo in natural conception...with assisted such as ivf then you need to take into account how old embie was when put back). This helps flush out the empty follicles which will keep filling with blood & helps prevent OHSS as well as flush out all the drugs from treatment & during EC...and obviously ensure you're hydrated.

Why do people suggest Pineapple Juice?
Pineapple contains selenium...and selenium (an anti-oxident) helps promote a healthy womb lining which is why it is thought to aid implantation. Pineapple also contains an enzyme called bromelain which is contraindicated during pregnancy as it may cause uterine contractions (many people, especially in Asian cultures, suggest eating fresh pineapple to induce labour if overdue)....however, during processing this delicate enzyme is destroyed which is why its ok to drink pineapple juice in moderation when ttc or pg but not to eat fresh pineapple/pineapple pieces etc .
The preferred juice to drink is fresh, pressed or "not from concentrate"....although not the best, its still ok to drink "from concentrate"...all this means is that the pineapple pulp has been frozen or freeze dried for exportation and then reconstituted with water.
A small glass of pineapple juice a day is supposed to be good but there are also many other food sources richer in selenium than pineapple (brazil nuts included!)

Pregnancy Symtoms
We're all guilty of it, in our 2ww - as we know we have our lovely embies on board, we assume that our bodies will suddenly start kicking out all the pregancy hormones and we should all be feeling something 'positive' to say 'YES' we're definately pregnant!
Well, I've been trying to think a bit logically about this (OK, have the occasional blip - where logic just goes out of the window!). Lets face it, we have our embies put back between 2-5 days post EC, well the day of EC, is classed as the day of Ovulation, so you then need to allow 6-10 days post ovulation, for the embies to implant (or there abouts anyway!). Once implanted, it's not suddenly going to produce mountains of hormones, these will build up over the coming weeks, or months, at which point you may then expect the various symptoms (bare in mind, many women don't experience any symptoms at all!).
I think we are all so desperate for some sign, that our imaginations run wild, we analyse every twinge, every bit of tiredness etc......
So, not sure if this is helping anyone, but I've found the following information about Early pregnancy Symptoms, which I think has to be the most down to earth stuff I've read;
Q: What are typical early pregnancy symptoms and pregnancy signs? Can I feel the pregnancy signs and symptoms before missing my period?
Many women have typical pregnancy symptoms even before they miss their period. However, most of the typical pregnancy symptoms and signs are directly related to the pregnancy hormone hCG. Small amounts of hCG enter the blood stream several days after implantation, about 8-10 days after ovulation. Thus, typical pregnancy symptoms typically do not appear until the hCG has reached sufficient levels which is about 1-2 weeks after you miss your period (3-4 weeks after ovulation, or 2-3 weeks after implantation), at a time when the hCG has risen enough. Nothing will really confirm a pregnancy except a positive pregnancy test.
The first symptoms and the time of their appearance are listed here:

We're all guilty of it, in our 2ww - as we know we have our lovely embies on board, we assume that our bodies will suddenly start kicking out all the pregancy hormones and we should all be feeling something 'positive' to say 'YES' we're definately pregnant!
Well, I've been trying to think a bit logically about this (OK, have the occasional blip - where logic just goes out of the window!). Lets face it, we have our embies put back between 2-5 days post EC, well the day of EC, is classed as the day of Ovulation, so you then need to allow 6-10 days post ovulation, for the embies to implant (or there abouts anyway!). Once implanted, it's not suddenly going to produce mountains of hormones, these will build up over the coming weeks, or months, at which point you may then expect the various symptoms (bare in mind, many women don't experience any symptoms at all!).
I think we are all so desperate for some sign, that our imaginations run wild, we analyse every twinge, every bit of tiredness etc......
So, not sure if this is helping anyone, but I've found the following information about Early pregnancy Symptoms, which I think has to be the most down to earth stuff I've read;
Q: What are typical early pregnancy symptoms and pregnancy signs? Can I feel the pregnancy signs and symptoms before missing my period?
Many women have typical pregnancy symptoms even before they miss their period. However, most of the typical pregnancy symptoms and signs are directly related to the pregnancy hormone hCG. Small amounts of hCG enter the blood stream several days after implantation, about 8-10 days after ovulation. Thus, typical pregnancy symptoms typically do not appear until the hCG has reached sufficient levels which is about 1-2 weeks after you miss your period (3-4 weeks after ovulation, or 2-3 weeks after implantation), at a time when the hCG has risen enough. Nothing will really confirm a pregnancy except a positive pregnancy test.
The first symptoms and the time of their appearance are listed here:
� Temperature drop (dip) on Implantation day
� Implantation bleeding or spotting
� Lower abdominal cramps
� A positive blood HCG pregnancy test: About 10 days after fertilization/ovulation
� An elevated bbt curve for 15+ days without a menstrual period
� A missed menstrual period (amenorrhea):
� A positive urine pregnancy test (HPT): As early as 10-14 days after ovulation/fertilization or 3-4 days after implantation. The more sensitive the HPT the earlier the pregnancy test will be positive.
� Nausea: as early as 2-4 weeks after ovulation (BrJObGyn 1989b;96:1304)
� Nipple or breast tenderness: 3-4 weeks after conception
� Fatigue: 3-10 weeks after conception
� Vomiting: 3-10 weeks after conception
� Food cravings: 1-2 months after conception
� Frequent urination: usually after 1-2 months
� Softening of cervix: usually not before 6 weeks after LMP
� Constipation: later on
� Lower back pain: later on
� Darkening of areola (breast nipple): After 14 weeks
� Fetal heart beat on sonogram: 8-9 weeks after conception
� Fetal movements: 16+ weeks after conception

And any other support after u test bfp? Hope our coming pregnancy will be a smooth sailing one till healthy bb is born..

J03, my cause of miscarriage is unknown. I did a few tests after the miscarriages. No reasons were found. Dr Loh, Dr HH tan from KKH all said am unlucky & maybe the embiees' quality not as good. Dr hh tan said If the cause can be determined then miscarriages can be minimized. He suggested baby aspirins the next round I get pregnant.
I went to see dr Paul Tsang from tmc, fertility gynae of CARE paragon too. He said the same as the 2 Drs. He told me if wan to be aggressive can start taking aspirins even before pregnant.. And all the way..
In Jan this yr, dr loh wrote aspirins on ER date on the memo. I dunno he wan me to take until when. But I will ask him to give me until I m abt to deliver. If he does not give me, I will go see dr Tsang at tmc. I already plan to see both Drs if I get pregnant. Dr Tsang more accessible & I can go every 2 weeks for follow-up. Dr loh's appointment dates r always too far apart. That said, I will still let dr loh deliver. He is very gd & accurate. Not just on fertility. Of course he is adding luveris to gonal-f on d5.. He didn't tell me why.. I realized no sisters here took luveris. So I goggle online & found out tt it may helps to improve egg quality.. At least this is wat the overseas forum says.. We will see if that is true...
As for other hormones support, i dun think it is necessary unless I hv spotting issues. Which I nv had. In my case, The foetus can be gone but my body still didn't know. There was no bleeding at all & in my 2nd m/c, I continued to hv bad morning sickness somemore! I only knew I had m/c from the ultrasound. 2nd m/c, I even waited for more than 1 wk for dr loh to return from overseas course to terminate for me though dr hh tan was covering him. I scar easily, I can't let my womb scar from d/c. So I wun let anybody touch my womb unless is dr loh if I can wait.
So if preg, other than baby aspirins, I dun think I need additional support other than wat KKH is giving now unless got bleeding..

Understand fr other sis that durian aids implantation and doc zou say durian is tonic so is gd..But no need take for the whole 2ww as dun want u to fall sick.. Take fr dpt3-10 will do.. Chocolate got caffine so better dun take tOo much..

I agree with hazel that no soy products and chicken during cycling.. As the hormones in chicken may affect us.. But u can still take chick essence.. Best is u make ur own essence as we use kampung chicken which without injection.. Dun choose normal chicken to double boil..

J03, are u with KKH? If I do get preg this time, I will be very careful. I itch easily down there.. The skin outside.. Preg & not preg.. Can be due to hormonal change. KKH does not check for infection at all. Dr loh always says is hormonal change as long as discharge looks okay. Dr Paul Tsang will definitely does swap test to rule out infection. That is y I said I will see 2 Drs in next pregnancy.

I feel sad when reading ur stories above.. Thats why i am very worried even if now test positive hpt.. I pray hard that is due to soiui which cant choose gd embroye and sperm so easy mc.. I pray hard that ivf will be different stories for me.. And thats why am headache nOw.. As our case need more attention fr gynea and more support too.. Can kk provide us these? Hence, i wonder when is the best time to change gynea? As i will want to deliver in Thomson medical if possible.. Shd i change gynea after i test hcg bt confirm to get more support immediately or shd i change only after first scan? I understand that in kk, gynea only provide duphaston n folic acid after confirm hcg bt positive.. Which i feel is not enough for our case.. I hv request asprin fr doc loh this time myself on et day as he usually wont give his patients unless request.. Last time when i did my soiui under doc Foong, he gives me asprin follow by the fraxi injection after i test bfp.. Bec i very scare to do injection on my tummy since already pregnant so i didnt administer.. Not sure is it due to that and 2nd mc happens..;( so this time, i will request flexi injection fr doc Loh.. I hope he will gives me.. Fraxi works the same as asprin to thin the blood flow to uterus.. But there is danger that if u bleed, ur blood will flow nonstop.. Seeing that even care provides flaxi so i no longer afraid it will harm my bb.. Shd i see two gynea at same time too? But who is gd gynea in tmc to handle ivf patient?
