Hi Hopefulmummy, so excited for u. Going for your ER on Thurs already....

I still need to go for scan again tomorrow before Dr can advise when to proceed with ER, but most likely should be Thurs or Fri. May I ask how many eggs do you have now? I am also worried about my eggs quantity...seems little for my age.

Thanks to all of you who advised me to take egg whites. I think the eggs grew faster after I took 8 egg whites over the weekend. Grew by 6.5..heehee

Actually, I did not want to ask the CHR nurses as i know if it is negative means it is. So no point asking. So was kinda surprise by what Janice mentioned about 2 in hcg. But i feel it is too low to be a positive.

kitty- hey, if yours is thurs then will be the same day as me! maybe we may even see each other at kkivf..hee..

i have 7 eggs that have reached the desired size, the doc said by tomorrow there will be another 5 more, so total will be 12 eggs, even though last fri the scan showed 16 eggs. i think the rest not big enough..

how did you take the egg whites? soft boiled or hard boiled?

Kitty_chan : ET usually depends on the hospital's protocol and the growth of the embryo. it can be anywhere from D2 to D5 transfer. If D5 usually is blastocyst.

ineedmiracle, i just bought the fresh Royal Jelly today at GNC. Now taking COQ10, Fish Oil & drinking Ensure daily as well. Have not bought folic and Vit C yet. How about you?

nurse at kkivf did mention to be b4 tat there are diff grade of eggs, grade 1-5, 5 being the best.
but according to her, not many hv grade 5...more of grade 4 though there are ppl wz grade 5.
and she said, hvg grade 5 doesnt mean u hv a higher change of +ve & hvg grade 3 doesnt mean you hv lesser chance.
i hv grade 4 & 3. when i did my ET, the aggs trsf was grade 4...but my BT doesnt seems +ve...

I also get the fresh Royal jelly from GNC. You buy the one with honey or capsules? Mine is the Honey in Gold Box one. then taking Immunocal on alternate day, then SimilacMum on alternate day, but realise getting puipui le. So might take away the SimilacMum and just have Immunocal.

I was checking GNC, they have a COQ10 with fish oil. For CoQ10, are you taking 50 or 100 or 150mg?
I also yet to buy folic acid. Think I have Vit C at home, later go find...haha.. I will be getting folic acid from Unity, think there rather cheap. =)

hi, my ET was 2 July. BT on 19 July. Can I take the preg test using clear blue before 19 July? Hope to be able to mentally prepare myself before going KK for BT.

ineedmiracle, I bought the one with honey. They say it will penetrate into your blood stream faster than capsules so thought of trying one first. Cuz I have 30% discount if not very ex. Mine is the black box with gold wordings. I was told to take 2 times a day if trying to conceive.

Ya, I saw they have the COQ10 with fish oil. But I bought separately. I bought the 50mg but took 3 capsules in order to make up to 150mg. And their Omega fish oil from there. Don't know which fish oil good also.

Too many things to take. *lol*

tokkie: I'm with NUH. No lei ... they do D3. My ER was on a Monday, ET Thurs so considered D3 right? But my doc mentioned that he can do a D5 for me if want to.

Pink : yah, is considered D3, as ER is considered D0. There's 2 school of thoughts regarding D5 transfer. 1 side thinks that if embryo can reach blastocyst, there's a higher chance of success, whereas the other thinks that the best environment its our body, hence D2-3 transfer would be better.
