Poppy: do not despair as we will never be the same as textbook ref . From our viewpoint, it is very upsetting cos we r set in the unknown fear mode. Don't let this fear overtake u as fear creates stress n it's not good for the embbies

try not to think too much at d hcg readings. I did not have any BT at d end of 2ww, only urine test. Of coz, I can ask for bt but since d nurses said not neccessary so I juz leave it.

Think for now, try to stay relax n talk to yr embryos to stay w both of u. Try to think more positive ok. Rem to continue w yr medications. Jia you. Meanwhile try to restas much as possible.
 
Sorry nadia - what pills are u popping ?? Cos during the briefing i didn't recall that I needed to eat any meds. All they talk about is injections
 
JJ: I am taking the microgynon...To take from D2 of heavy flow of menses for 21 days dear...Hmm u dun have the pills..Dr nvr ask u to buy...Lucrin will start from D16 onwards...Hmm not sure whether urs is different from mine..
 
nadia, i guess ur menses is not regular? if yes, that's why u took microgynon to ensure u will have another menses during lucrin stage. i took that too during my fresh cycle.

JJ, if urs is regular no need microgynon. just start lucrin on D21
 
Nadia, my protocol is similar to yrs. I oledy 've the microgynon at home. Starting to take on D2 onwards for 3 wks. Then D16, start the lucrin.

Gan, my menses I dun know is it considered regular or not? Mine is 30-34 days. Tat means some mth 30 days, some mth 32 or 34 days. Oni my May cycle was 39 days. Tat day when I went for the signing of consent form, the nurse told me Dr ordered tis protocol 4 me. Shd I call & clarify wif KKIVF when my AF reports y tis protocol?
 
blissful, i am sure ur doc has reviewed ur blood tests results etc before deciding on this protocol. So dun worry. Actually initially mine was not on microgynon, because based on my earlier bloodtest (done almost 1 year ago before i start fresh), my hormones are normal. I did another BT just before i start my fresh cycle and the bloodtests results shows otherwise. so i was prescribed microgynon. and at least u r sure ur menses will come during lucrin stage. Else during lucrin, if u r stressed, the menses didn't come, u may get more worried.
 
oh yes and before my SO-IUI in June last year, i have a regular 28 days cycle. but since SO-IUI, somehow the cycle never went back normal...can have menses once every 2 mths! quite bad
 
Blissful, i only see dr zou after my fresh cycle which was not successful. mainly for accu and i only took her med on off. but once i started the hormone pills for my medicated FET, i didn't take TCM but go accu once a week. only during scan for lining, my lining didn't grew despite increasing the progynova to max dosage, i took her herbs coz dr zou said will help grow lining. the lining did grow by 1mm after 1 week of taking the TCM. 1 week before ET, i also go for daily accu.

If u r with Dr Loh, he doesn't believe in taking TCM during injections. he told me to stop TCM when i start my hormone pills
 
I am not a good example that regular accu will help lining to grow.

morning everyone. me will be taking leave tomorrow to rest. yesterday, i feel terrible so think better take one day off to rest and hv a long weekend.

is it correct that OHSS only occur for those doing fresh cycle? I do not hv much symptons during the 2ww in my fresh cycle but for my FET, i feel nausea n keep burping. sometimes also need to take deep breaths...wondering wats wrong...lucky today so far so good.....
 
Hi Blissful, I also starts microgyon on D2, Lucrin on D16... check with you when did you go back for the scan and BT? they asked me to go back on D19... Did they prescribe the puregon to you on the day itself? I am so confused...

Tzac, what supplements are you on? It may be the supplements reactions. If not, then its probably pregnancy hormones. Maybe you have more than 1 embie already implanted so more symptoms!

Blissful, if u want to take TCM with injections/pills, do it 2 hrs apart.

akachan: was precribed prognova n cyclogest (insert) only. yeah, i understand fr nurse tat these will cause nausea n bloatedness. haha..i sure hope my emmbies hv implanted...do u hv any symptons? when is your BT huh?

ladies, just came back from my scan. babies are growing well and very active... saw all 3 of them moving..

Pandawife wow ur bbs growing very well, taller than my precious when i went for my scan last sat! how do they move huh? u r going for oscar scan so early? is it the BT or the scan?
My scan is only on 29 June when I am abt 12 weeks 1 day

Good morning to all the sis here. Today is my 6th day on puregon. This saturday will be my 1st scanning. Sometimes, my stomach got bloated but sometimes not bloated anymore. Wondering if my eggs is growing. Since yesterday, my head a bit light-headed and sometimes got headache.
 
gan..scan leh.. my bt will nt b accurate cox 3 of them...so dunno if they r doing bt anot. hmmm..later i will double check again if too early for the scan.

hands n legs moving..one of them moving whole body..so v obvious...
 
panda: u must b happy n excited 2 c the 3 of them. so wonderful....

nm: i hv spare hpt fr the last round. i managed to ren n ren for my last fresh cycle. af came b4 my BT. really feel like testing but scare too early to tell leh..in a dilemna heehee. u testing 2day?
 
pandawife, i think read somewhere scan is between 11 weeks to 13 weeks..yes heard BT not accurate for multiples
Dr Paul scanning for u at CARE or u go TMC?

Lubna dun worry the eggs will grow. Less stress, better growth!

nm...just now aft my scan..angela told dr paul he cannot go on leave in dec n jsn...hv to deliver 2 sets of triplets and 4 sets of twins!

Today im 10 weeks 1 day... Its always nerve wrecking to wait for the next scan..
Oscar test consists of what? Done at care? Oscar test is to test for ds?
 
panda, at kk, our scans also not done by Dr Loh, go to this department call AMC for scan. Think their scan machine is more powerful than the doc's.

Btw, will we still ovulate? We will still experience clear discharge rite?
