i've asked the CHR nurse, and she told me it's up to the embryoist.. mine were frozen on D3, dont know y.
In nuh, is it standard to be given 1 crinone insert during 2ww? I feel that it's not enough for me, my menses reported 2 days before the blood test, I read from other websites that if u're on progestrone, not supposed to get menses...

Mine was a D3 transfer (2 embryos) cos i only have 3 eggs fertilised so they can't afford to let it grow to D5.

Nuh protocol is 1x crinone insert per day. I am not sure if it's sufficient, but i started to bleed at D9. But this could be due to many factors.

I am seeing Dr SF Loh tomorrow...I intend to make the transfer arrangement after seeing him..so not sure about the cost incurred in changing hospital yet..
I do not want to stay at RH cos I dun believe in her anymore...I seriously dun think she is professional in making such decision on my behalf. I knew my lining was thick cos she was the one who told me when I was doing the SO-IUI with her much earlier...but during the IVF, no matter how I asked she just refused to answer me...what kind of doc is this?
I knew she was the previous Head in KKH, that's why I told my dh that I want her to be my doc...the decision that I was totally regretted...

Just wondering, is it standard protocol that Prof doesn't measure bb heartrate at wk 7? I was quite concerned about it but he said it doesn't matter what is rate at wk7.
I am kinda of worried becos, for my last pregnancy, my gynae found the heartrate amiss at wk7 and that proved to be doomed eventually.

Bakaholic, I am not too sure about that. Did you go for Wk 6 scan?
For me, I went for Wk 6, I think it was a standard protocal. However, it was not him who checked on me. Another gynae as he was not around. She checked the BB heartbeat. She told everythign was normal.
I had to go for another scan on Wk7, that was when no heartbeat detected. He did scan on me though.

ladies on the crinone gel...did any of u experince any sore boobs or anything?..im in for bloodtest on thurs..so far i hv no symptoms at all..besides a dull menses like feeling in the middle off the nite..n night sweats for 3 days...
i read tht crinone gel dosnt hv much side effects like breast tenderness etc unlike cyclogest or utrogesten...so..i dnt noe wat to look out for....im really freaking out cos the date is nearing..and for the past week ive been holding out my tears...today morn i broke dwn...crying to hubby abt wat it might turn out to be.

Backaholic, when I had mine the dr did not look at the heartbeat rate. Not sure if other doctors will note on that.
Serene, if u go to nuh there is only prof wong doing this. His team of nurses are also good. I am wif them.

Wow, a few here going ahead with ET once lining hits 8mm. I have been worrying 8mm also not good enough thats why want to abort cycle. I am really not as brave and positive as you gals, shame on me, so weak, so easily give up.

I think at least 3, i had 2 scans last week, 2 days apart. Then one more scan this week which will more or less say whether can ET. If can ET maybe this Sat or next Mon.

Juz tt Im feeling weird coz I went to c doc like 2weeks ago. A female doc did d scan for me but she did not measure d thickness. She juz said everything looks alright. It did not crossed my mind at that time to ask her to measure d thickness. My doc told me to continue w Lucrin and Prognova for 2 weeks. So I will b going back this Sat for another scan and hopefully by then will know when will b d ET. So now Im unsure what is d status now.

hi everyone...am 27yrs old and am a PCOS patient and currently on medication to induce my menses to prepare the womb for FET in March.. anyone gone thru FET cycle? this is my 3rd IVF cycle.. first IVF was not completed as I had high fever due to the injections. 2nd cycle was unsuccessful either with 2 embryos transferred. It was very depressing for me especially the 2ww for the pregnancy result.It was true enough I broke down and super depressed with all the mixed emotions and i felt really lousy. Now am waiting for March for FET from Doctor's recommendation to proceed. However, ever since my last visit to the Doctor I am very stressful and worried. Could get really emotional,cry and scared of what the whole process gonna be like.

A few of the ladies here have gone through FET and a few of us will having ET.
Why are you stressful and worried?? I guess during this period, we should try to relax and stay cheerful. Try to keep your mind off FET for the time being and do some activities that you like. Of coz, it is easier said than to b done. But juz try to stay relax..

I just failed my cycle in NUH....they din do a D3 freezing for me...thus I hv no frozen embroys from this cycle or mabbe my embroys are no good...cos according to NUH, they oni do freezing for good embroys...bt someone did mention tt she do a D3 freezing...perhaps u can chk wif Prof.

hi rizraya...like u all of us are also stress and worried..but we have to just keep telling ourselves everything will turn out fine...thurs is my beta test...so u can imagine wat im going through now...its so nerve wrecking. ps calm urself by watching movies, do stffs that take ur mind away from all these though it difficult...relax..njoy the journey..

Everyone reacts differently to symptoms. Dun ponder too much. i know how it feels when the day of BT is drawing near. I was panicking a week before BT. But as it was near Xmas, i got myself occupied with gifts and planning a family party.
Maybe you can plan something like dinner, movie with hubby to keep your mind off.
For the crinone part, I went for BT the next day when i start to bleed the night before. And they gave me hcg and progesterone jab after the result came out. I am still on the jabs 2x per wk since. I did try to finish off the crinone but i find too messy and stopped as i was bleeding for a couple of days. Still have leftover.

It is really my fault that i see the date wrongly and forgot to put in the pessary 2 days before ET... i only put in 1 day before...
Tomorrow i go KK and see what doc says lor..i read the pogesterone aims to keeping lining supple and soft for embryo..

You have to brace yourself for the sake of your body. Most of us here have gone through some forms of failed cycles and we are all still standing tall. Mental wellbeing is very impt as it will affect our body functions.
I do not want to sound negative but perhaps you want to rest and adjust your emotions before you embark your FET? You are still young.
Be it positive or negative outcome, the road is ahead is long and you have to be mentally prepared for it.

Rizrayza - it is ok to feel emotional n scared but u mus overcome it ok .... always believe that there is a silver lining .... be positive and look forward to BFP ....
Judebabe - I wld advise you to call KKH immediate and consult the nurses or doctor for advise .....

Hope&Faith, stay strong and try to relax. When r u doing your blood test? i'm also counting the days, mine is on 1 Feb.
Any other ladies doing the blood test this 2 weeks? All the very best and may all have a +ve result.

I am back from my ET already.... KK is a busy place..
I told the nurse that i put in the progestrone a day late..she says its ok....reminds me to put in today after ET..
i transfer 2 although i hope to transfer 3 cos 1 didnt survive...
did anybody here say that first day of ET must have bed rest and leave your leg high ?

Yes. Its best to bedrest for the 1st 2- days. I also heard someone say leave legs high too. But rem when you get up from bed to go toilet etc, dun use too much of your stomach strength k. Use your arms to push yourself up.. and most importantly. Think happy thoughts!!!
