MSH, I was also worried when I had EWCM...plenty of it. It lasted for at least a week before the ER. Had wanted to ask here and the nurses but in the end didn't. But I didn't ovulate myself so don't worry. You will be fine.

Maybe you should take more leave to rest at home then. My ER was on Sat, after I still walked around shpg center in the evening..MC on Mon and back to work on Tue.

u mean u gals had bloatedness and didn't feel like eating... that's why got gastric right? i also felt the same thing today... some more haven't ER yet... hope that means my follicles have grown bigger today. tummy very uncomfortable then no appetite but hungry

tch, i'm relieved to hear won't ovulate naturally. i keep worrying i didn't do injection properly, so lucrin not fully absorbed by the body... but i'm sure i did.... i'm just worrying for nothing. but your ER on sat means ET on tue.... or did u mean ET on sat?

My ER was on Thu so ET on Sat. I seem to have gastric these 2 weeks though I don't have the problem last time. Not that I am not eating but I have to eat on time time. In the middle of last night, I had so bad gastric pain that I have to wake up and make myself a cup of milo to drink. In fact, before I slept, I took some biscuits but somehow threw out cos of the acid in the stomach. I thought it's the medication. But the nurse say it's due to OHSS.

Wonder if other have gastric problem during the 2WW.

Blurblur, so your blood test for pregnancy will be somewhere 1week after mine, 10 Jan? I had blood test on the 3rd HCG but didn't get to inject HCG due to bloatedness. The test is to check the progesterone level. You can call in the afternoon and they will tell u whether everything is ok.

I can still eat despite the bloatedness. The gastric just happened.

I think your bloatedness is not as bad as mine, can't see at all. So the nurse went ahead with your HCG jab? At least you don't have to suffer daily jab like me.

moonfairy, I have always been a pte patient. But as I understand, all IVF are considered private. I go to KK strictly for the price. They seem to know what they are doing from medication to payment, medisave claims etc...price is the amongst the cheapest i think.

Just went for my week 9 scan today. saw three fetus and their length are the same, 2.5 cm and heartbeat is around 171bpm. So excited.
To all sisters out there who are in your 2WW,
Hang on coz I am sure you will have good news to share with us soon. Bear with the bloatedness. It can be a good sign like me.

Hi peacy, so excited for you...triplets! Quite difficult to come by. They are all from the 3 embryos right? So no identical ones I suppose. Next is to hear the sex of the babies.

YOu have to rest well cos you need lots of engery during and after pregnancy to handle the bundle of joy!!!

Hi blurblur,

I also had cramps last week, probably around the same days in the cycle as you. It wasn't worst than the cramp after the ER. Somewhat like mense cramp, maybe a little more. Laying down and sleep will make you feel better.

It could be implantation cramp as this is about the time implantation takes place I think.

wow... congrats.... i have afeeling u both will be a positive this cycle.... errrmmmmm after ER got bad cramps? oh my..... tomorrow is my ER.... actually my mom is in hospital now and i have not told her we are doing ivf.... so when i do ER tmr, i'd most likely not be visiting her tomorrow and day after... scared she feel sad.... think i'd explin to her later.

tch, in fact,I have been having cramps since ET (only the degree of pain varies)...in fact I was quite ok after my ER not much pain so I also hope it is implantation cramp.

i too had cramps after ER and ET. doc told me that the cramps are due to the effects fr ER where the follicles had been aspirated. mine lasted throughout the 2ww and even till today sometimes. but if cramps r before ER, this is just a guess--it's prob a sign that they're almost ready to be taken out?

as for the bloatedness and gastric, it's due to the OHSS. i had OHSS almost at the end of my 2ww and had to aspirate the fluid out. the bloatedness was causing gastric flu like symptoms and it was unbearable, disrupting sleep and aching back. nurses told me to flush it all out wif lots of water.

Thanks for sharing, missmoon. My cramp only started after ET and it was quite bad...disrupting sleep and very scary too. But last nite it was gone and I hope it won't be back.

You must take care too...how many weeks are you now?

The bloatedness is not as uncomfortable now. Almost end of 2ww. Stomach still quite big but seems to have gone down a little. Makes me worried whether that means the good symtoms are gone...

Have you decide on how many to use? How many eggs did you retrieved?

don't worry abt the jab? I was super scared of needles too even during the 'training' session, my hubby could see my hands shaking when holding the needle.

I managed to have enough courage to do it becos of the encouragement and support from all the sisters here and they told me it is not as bad as I think...quite true.

Trust me, it is only the 1st jab that is tough, after that you will be ok as you go along

I may sound quite steady now but when I looked back I also don't know how I managed. Of course, I also prayed abt it

Don't worry ya, I am sure you can do it...jia you.
