I am not offended just not acceptable. Agree with u we r asian after all. This is just one of the options, we have the final decision. Maybe dh 2nd sperm test is real low tat is y doc suggest tat. Might not even be enough for freezing. Lucky for us the 3rd test is almost the same as 1st so sent for freezing. Hopefully he have enough so tat i can use those fresh ones on ER.

Dh is taking chinese supplements 3X daily so dun noe when to slot the multi vit in. Thanks for ur suggestions. Maybe will ask the chinese doc after ER how he can slot in the multi vit. I think dh stay this way for the time being cos ER is less than 1 month time if everything turns out fine.

I visit Dr Loh the very first time after a year. He mention will be on Natural. After my report out for sonohysterography turn out to be Artificial Thaw cycle. Now waiting for my AF and call nurse on the first day.
 
Hazel, heatpad will help ease the pain. what time you going for scan tomorrow?

Rostrum, well I think if I take 6 months no pay i will be stressed after sometime coz will be bored at home. =p Have you gone down to NUH?
 
gan, as usually will be there at 730am. so that i will be the first person to scan at 8am
then i can reach office by 10am hopefully

ok ok tks for your concern. Now awaiting for AF to start off my FET. Nurse mention must see got doc to do the ET. If not I need to wait till Jan or Feb 10.
 
Rostrum, yes it is D21 not D2. hehehe...typo error.
I can use my nov menses but it is fully booked. I actually did not call CHR to so called make an appointment for using my NOv menses. So now it is either Dec or Jan. If my Dec menses comes very late and it will coincide with the lab closure i will do in Jan. The nurse looked based on my first attempt, my Gonal F was less than 2 weeks so i might be able to have my eggs retrieved earlier but i am worried lah. Will see how it goes.

BTW, for me, I dont think Gonal F have much an effect for me. I guess the suprefact was the one. The side effect was bad - hot flushes and mood swings. FOr me both injections are within my acceptable threshold pain...

hCG on the thigh wasn't all that bad. I think the nurse did a great job. I didn't even know it was over until she told me. The pain was negligible but I did not expect the after effects of numbness/weakness in the thigh. Had to limp quite a bit for the rest of the night.

Btw, may I ask where the ER and ET would be held?

determined by doctor.. if you have regular menses, then usually dr will ask u to do natural becos for natural u need to Ovulate in order to proceed. but there is a risk that u will cancel the cycle if u dont ovulate or if you do, ur lining is not optimium. thats y i opt for artificial becos its a sure-go cycle. Progynova is the med to suppress ovulation and thicken your lining. You have to take up till BT to continue build up the lining. Even if u preg, you will continue for another 6weeks i think. If progynova failed to build up ur lining, dont worry, they will change the med to patch-form, so the cycle will not cancel at all.
 
Muski, ER at day surgery. ET at procedure room... I am sad. I only has 8 folicles after 6 days of jabs, 4 bigger ones at 17mm, 12.5, 11, n 10. the remaining 4 are small at 6 n 7mm. Lining is good at 10mm. I am given another 3 days of gonal-f at the same dosage n scan again on sat am... Doc told me okay Mon ER.. IF THE 17MM ONE CONTINUES TO GROW, IT MAY BE SACRIFICED AS ONCE HIT 25MM, CANNOT USE. THE 6 N 7MM ONE I DUNNO IF CAN REACH 16MM BY SAT.. SIGH...

I went to see Dr Loh after 1 year too for papsmear. He said my lining was good and I can go for natural thaw cycle. I didn't do any other test.

sorry i forgot to reply u on the jabs.
When I was told to increase my dosage on the day of my 1st scan, I did not inject Lucrin. They wanted me to take the Puregon shot at the clinic since the nurse can combine my 100iu in the pen with the additional 200iu from the new cartridge (don't have to take 2 shots of Puregon) but I refused and did Lucrin and Puregon that night as usual. But on the 3rd scan day, since I knew they'd order hCG very soon, I switched the Lucrin to morning. Which means I took Lucrin the night b4, plus the next morning. PM me if I'm not making sense to you

Don't be sad hazel. Quality over quantity!!
On my 3rd scan day which was Monday, only 1 follicle is 17mm, another at 16mm and the rest between 15 - 6.5.
Whether they catch up or not it's really not up to me le. So just focus on keeping yourself healthy and stay positive!
 
Singapoh, did you request or ask to take the bacteria test since you have a dog? My gf advised me to ask for it since my dog used to sleep with us and now stil stay very close to me
 
Muski, thanks for sharing. Yes, I will learn from you. I also dunno why I got one big folicle at 17mm after only 6days of jab. Hope, sat the rest are bigger.. Dr said my ER shld be monday.
 
Hi Hazel, dont be sad, it's only 6 days.. the rest will grow. You still have quite a few good sizes there.

Dun be to sad about the no. of embryos. I have a colleague who only has 4 eggs retrieved, which 2 are fertilised. And well, both implanted and she has 2 beautiful boys.
Like what muski said, quality is more impt than quantitiy.
We have come this far now so just look ahead and keep our fingers crossed.

Its oni 6 days and the size of the follicle is already so good...m sure the rest of the follicles will grow as wel...dun worry!
 
Hazel, nah, only had 5 follicles. Was scanned on 7th day of Puregon, then given 2 more days Puregon and scanned on 9th day (during which the follicles had grown), then given an additional 2 more days before ER. So 11 days altogether.
 
Singapoh, i heard that animals have certain bacteria that may harm the baby's brain devt. Actually I aso didn't know abt the test till my fren told me. She said her fren took it when she was preggy.....I will ask Dr Loh when I see him on next Wed.

Dr Cheng did analyse my reading but I cant remember. Only remember that my prolactin is abit high.

I will be doing the IVF w ICSI too.. During the couseling, the nurse told us that usually it will be 8- 15k depending on d dosage, etc.. So when I wanted to calculate a rough amt, I got blur so I gave up.. =p
