(FEEDBACK: My hb & I saw Dr. Tan Lee Kee of Ying Chuan Chinese Medical Hall in Jurong East 4 yrs ago. We spent a few thousand dollars on her and a Gynae at Glenages recommended by her. We were told that I have PCOS and my hb sperms not good.
We saw them for a year and I did not manage to conceive.
After that we also went through 2 times of IVF. I managed to get pregnant on my 2nd IVF, unfortunatly I miscarriage in my 6th weeks of pregnancy. After my miscarriage, I went to this Sin Seh at Marine Parade. He helped me to 'bu3' my body and I also told him I want to conceive naturally. He told me he will help me but my hb and I must follow his instructions and take the herbs prescribed by him. I'm now 5 1/2 mths pregnant after taking his herbs for a few mths. His fees is much cheaper than JE's Sin Seh and my hb & I only need to see him 1 time per mth.

FEEDBACK: The two Chinese physicians are recommended to me by a Chinese physician(from China).
Both of the Chinese physicians are holding doctorate degree from renowned TCM University in China. Both of them had spent at least a year in China hospital for clinical experience.
Dr Tan Kian Sing is currently the head of infertity group in Singapore Chung Hwa Medical Institution. He is mainly solving male problem. There is another female Chinese physician who is the head of infertity group in solving the females problem. As I am not comfortable with a male physician, I choose Dr Tan Siew Buoy to solve my medical problem. She is the expert of solving female problem.
I hear a lot of things about some local Chinese phyiscan who is very unhappy if their patient tells them that they are doing IVF or IUI. Some local Chinese phyisican even feel offend if they know the couple going to see another Chinese phyisican.
Both Dr Tans are very open as they are aware that we are seeing two phyisican. Most of time we will ask them to write their TCM treatment so we can pass to the each other. This will help to provide the best treatment for both of us.
Both Dr Tans are aware that we are intending to do IUI or IVF. They advise us to receive TCM treatment for preparing for pregnancy. The womb must be ready for pregnancy. If your body is not in a good condition for pregnancy, there is no point of trying many cycle of IVF or IUI.
FEEDBACK: I have just tested positive last week. very happy indeed. I have been tcc for almost 3 years. No luck maybe because of my age (38). Started going to TCM in Aug 08 (went to Dr Tan Kian Seng after reading about him in this forum). Went thru 5 months(2 to 3 times per mth bef ovulation) of accupucture and taking the power herbs. I guess it certainly make your body stronger. I am very happy and hope everything will be fine for the next 9 mths.

FEEDBACK (-VE): The physician,i tink,is the worse physician that i seen.He didn't chk my pulse n my history n straight away jumped into conclusion by treating me as infertile patient.He started to "hard sell" himself by boosting his achievements.He said he is the 1st person in S'pore who teach ppl how to use BBT temp chart to chk wf O.After i told him my conditions(miscarriages,etc)then he said he refused to treat me.On top of that,he even asked me to give him a token after all the lecturing fr him.I took out $10 note n asked him:"is this enough?" n very pissed off n left.

I think she is a nice Dr and person, just that her appointments are so packed, especially in the evenings that I feel she has no choice but to operate an "assembly line". And her consultation time in the evening can only be checking of pulses and the tongue. Hardly any time for checking on our other signs by listening to our verbal explanations. What do you all think or am I the only one who feels this way?

We went to see Pro Ng at Gleneagles in May and My HD was given Vitamin E. He has since finished the Vitamin and since we are going to start in Oct, thinking of getting some Vitamin E to boost his soldiers. He is taking multivitamin (from Dr Loh). The problem is that I threw away the box so now don't know the brand and dosage. Any of U ladies can advice? If overdose...any side effect? thanks in advance.

My hubby eat vitamin E too prescribed by the Dr..I can't remember the brand as its at home but I can describe, its 400IU natural vitamin E, its in a pyramid plastic container with a whitish translucent cap and a greenish translucent body. On it, there a word call "bounce".

But she has since not posted, so I don't know how she is doing...you want to call CHR and ask them if you can use another insert to support, to give it your best shot?
And like Maggie said, all is yet known really..

Don't mention..My hubby told me the container said 1 to 2 pills (pills are something like light yellow in color) and he takes 1 per day as I checked on internet that its not so good to take more than 400IU per day for a long period. 1 should be enough! I bought it at NuH off the rack shelf at about SGD18. So big pharmacies should have..if can check out guardian either at centrepoint or bugis, even can call to ask..

i feel that too about Dr Zou and i was during the transistion period when she got much busy. Earlier on before the increase in patients, she took effort to chit chat, also giving precious information along the way by sharing how her other patients react to medication, etc. She will even remember every patient name including the patient's hubby name. Then as she became busy, i told her that we have an internet forum introducing other ladies to her clinic. Sometimes she was so busy that no time for dinner (her house is only upstairs). Do pity her but good business, no choice too. She only has one son who is working in America and she communicate with him via email. I like to chit chat with her about her son.

And remembering names has become a luxury too. So now, I am thinking of taking leave on some days to do acu and avoid the evening time..and actually, sometimes I see her so tired I feel paiseh to ask questions too. I did ask her and she said now she does not even take lunch sometimes as some patients can only come during lunch time..

ya.. but more food near raffles place and tanjong pagar... I was with Dr Zou previously also.. but don't have the discipline to go so often and i still dunno what's wrong with me in TCM terms. but she is a very nice and friendly lady if she has the time to chat.

don't worry too much.. my fren who went for check up and was told that she was 8 weeks preg. she was shock because she had menses abt 3 weeks ago. the heavy type that needs to use pad ones.. so don't give up ok... Wish you good luck for your BT tomorrow.. ask them to do the express one.. got to pay a bit more though...

u are my pillar of support .. and also being sad also cant change anything.. if tmr's test is bad news.. i will take a break from ttc liao.. too emtional taxing for us.

hi leo, if i remembered correctly, ivf ladies from raffles hospital are "encouraged" to accp during 2ww, so I would say that the doc who does accp will be competent.
