I was on 225 of Gonal-f for 10 days. To be frank with you, I just make sure I eat well and stay relax. Am also under TCM but no accu.

Mine comes in one whole big box, inside a lot of injections so i dont get u when u said there is a loose one.

hi ladies,

I am back from ER, has these very bad abdominal (like menses cramp) pain until had to stay in hospital longer than the other lady who did ER.

How many egg retrieve? Pls drink more water and increase egg white intake. Pls also monitor urine's color. If urine turn dark brown like tea, pls alert clinic's nurse. How's your breathing? Smooth?

they retrieved 13 eggs. Oh dear I've run out of kampung chicken eggs, will hv to go get them tmr. Breathing ok, nures asked me to take deep breath if I feel pain. Thx! Nurse says I walk like old woman (cos i was in pain) so asked me to rest for another 45mins b4 she discharged me. Very nice lady!

When I first purchase my Lucrin, nurse also asked me buy another loose packet of syringe on top of the box one.. As Lucrin jab may be extended depending on when your AF come, so that extra packet is for standby. You can buy it from KKH pharmacy, just tell the person you need it for Lucrin jab.

it's one of the symptoms but it's also normal to feel pain after ER..just monitor and continue taking egg white and drink lots of water.. the nurse ask me to drink lots of water to flush out the excess hormones that we've been taking for the past few weeks...the pain will fade away soon.... i feel alrite this morning but i'm still feeling some discomfort in lower tummy.. can't sit or walk or stand for too long except for lying down... i dun feel nauseous anymore.. but i would still need to do blood test tmrw morning b4 ET.. so ur ET this sat rite?

i was always given the syringes in packet form.. never given the box one.. lucky.. i agree the packet one the needle is thin.. i hardly feel pain when i jab lucrin... the needle is thinner than the one for puregon even tho puregon needle is shorter...

i'm also doing ICSI.. saw it on my form even tho dr loh never tell me that it's ICSI...

anyone knows how much additional for ICSI as compared to IVF at kkivf?

My colleagues also say long bananas are cooling, pregnant ladies cannot take. Long bananas = Western bananas (e.g. Del Monte)
Heaty bananas are those small mini kinds which is always used in Malay cuisine. Forgot the name. They says if during pregnancy you want to take bananas must take the short and black one.

Loose meaning packet ah? Should I tell the nurse to give more 3 weeks of Lucrin since I will be travelling and only be back on my D20 of lucrin?

Mine is at SGH, they give me two boxes. Izit the same? Mmm 2moro will be my 1st jab, the nurse will show me. If it is painful, then i will consider other needles. Any numb cream available???

Where can i can a cooler bag? I'm going Malaysia next week so i have to bring the lucrin.

dunno abt the black part. but those used to fry goreng pisang is ok. anyway, i only see long & short types. so quite easy to differentiate.

1 bottle of lucrin usu got extra contents inside. i still had balance inside my bottle after my lucrin was extended, so not to worry.

puregon usu jab for 2 weeks. but dosage will be monitored & adjusted accordingly.

since you're are with SGH, you can loan from them the cooler box, just need to return them once u're back. They have types of cooler box depends on the hour of ur journey.

take care and have smooth ET tomorrow.If not mistaken ICSI will cost another 3k plus compared to normal IVF. I am also having ICSI but haven't got my final bill yet so no idea how much my treatment cost.

DH says go back taiwan must enjoy cause we are taking 2 days off from my MIL for our 2nd Anniversary so if keep worrying wont enjoy the trip.

the nurse told me my spotting is actually my AF coming.. she told me to wait for full bleed then make appt to see Dr Loh and discuss regarding FET..

Does anybody know how much FET cost in KK?
Will we be given HL also after transfer?
 
Fresh, i was sleeping when u posted yest nite coz very tired.

Fresh and orangey, as u know i work in a gynae clinic so i was juz doing my pap smear and also ultrasound and accidentatlly discovered the cyst. I had this cyst b4 when i was taking clomid. Dr loh say this r corpus letum cyst(ovulation cyst) and he thought i took clomid. He say either wait for one more mth or take the BCP to suppress it. He say unlikely to cause any complications to ivf and chances of rupture is zero. Hope everything turns out fine. I will be starting lucrin on 18 june too.

Yes I am going to start Microgyon tonight. You need to take Microgyon also ah? Btw, how's your cyst and what's Dr Loh suggestion?

My buddy is in banana biz (wholesaler) she also say the long ones sold in ntuc eg del monte are cooling ones and to avoid taking. The short ones however are alright.

Drink more water at least 2 litres a day as advised from the nurse to flush out all the hormones you have injected over the months. And also try to take 2-3 egg whites per day for the time being.

i heard from the sisters here tat FET is around $1.5k less than $2K in KKIVF and mc 7 days. Me may be also embarking on FET end of the yr.

oh then not so bad. You are messy with the calculation like how? My protocol is to induce menses using BCP, when menses come, start BCP again on D2 of menses till 21 days. Concurrently on D16, inject lucrin.

thanks.. i'm very very sad with the result.. my DH also very dissapointed... we already had a 5 years old gal thru normal conception but we want at least one more... had miscarriage last two years.. this is my 1st ivf cycle.. very dissapoiting..

Oh I retrieved 20, 10 fertilised, used 2 and frozen 8. Yup it was my 1st cycle. About the MC thing maybe u can check with the nurse cos i've not embark on FET yet leah. Still trying to adjust my mood and prepare myself physically and mentally b4 going for another shot again.

How many frozen embies do you have?

I've abit scared cos Dr loh says i've got traces of blood cysts and i've already gone thro 2 lapro in 2 yrs. Just heard from my friend that an ex colleague of mine who was diagnosed with blood cysts has just gone thro 3 lapro recently. Scared the shit out of me.

I think I've got no chance... maybe Rae will get a positive. Rae, Jia You!

I think for FET, you need to rest about 2-3 months first. For me, I don't think I'll do it so soon. I want to try naturally first and I think I'll give myself half a year to try. I believe I'll have a kid but in good times....

At least you've got a 5 year old daughter which I think is a blessing already.
