no wonder FET success, your embryo are very good grade to start with. But i don't get it, you mean more eggs retrieve, then you are charge accordingly? because in kk, no matter how many eggs retrieve or how many for storage, still at the same price.

yup thanks boon boon, i hope she says ok to skydive when i see her on friday , i asked her the last time she said no problem... whaa i waited so long for this....
 
thank u for the consoles. i sort of prepared cos during the 1st scan, the HB was not detected and over the past weeks, it was reali mental testing. i had weekly scan to chk and the result was not favourable. though i said was mentally prepared but still i cried infront of my gynae when he told me we nid to do the clean up. guess there's no 'mental prepared' in such a case.

i shall not upset the mood here. I still believe in IVF and there was oni 1 embroy transfered and my FSH level was high when i did my process. I was still tested +ve. So, all sisters, dun give up hope. I will try again and in HIS time i will be blessed with another child

Jas-You mentioned taking gynera from D2 till D7 (during your last month's menses) and 3 or 4 days later menses will come?? So I thought you have 2 AF reported in a month..

Hope you're alright now... cheer up a bit kay? Just to share with you, before I embarked on this ivf journey, I managed to conceive naturally. But unfortunately, there were no heart beat even at week 8. We had to terminate the pregancy. Though it was just an empty sac and no baby, I couln't help feeling really sad. I cried buckets and thought that everything was so unfair.... sigh.

Went on to do this IVF cycle... and guess the results are the same.... negative. Not too sure what is the next step though...
 
Tomatoes-I think whoever faces this circumstance will act like you whether mentally prepared or not. But I am glad that you have prepare yourself for next try. If you have your own Chinese Senseh remember to call and get their advise, if not I think Dr Zou is good and she know how to enlighten our thought. Take care and remember we need good foods to nourish our body to become healthy.

Boon boon, I am taking gynera from day 2 menses last month till 7th of june... not D7, no wonder u thought i have 2 AF this month

dr normally recommands 2 to 3 mths break in between. It will be good to use this time to tio your body with a little TCM or acupuncture
 
i've got some frozen embies.. but the quality not very good leh... anyone who succeded with FET can share their fet experience? what were your frozen embies grade?
 
Jas-now I am clear...thks. I will try short protocol in June as well but my dosage is high as 500iu..so scare scare
 
Daffodils-if you are doing FET, I think most likely the leave (sick leave) will be shorter. And some girls checked with Dr Zou and she said the first 3-5 days is important. So if you scare they ask u many question, then take your own leave plus the most 2 days MC lo...

Anyway, for fresh cycle you need a longer time like 2-3 months (at least) so by then coming to end year then just plan like going for holiday if you don't want to take HL too many days..
 
Daffodils, I am planning to quit when I embark on my 2nd cycle in Aug/Sept. Though my office knows that I am going for 2nd round I thought it will be less stressful for me. Don't worry if only if your test is -ve on Saturday then take care of yourself first. Prepare your body for the next round and a way will definitely come up when you are embarking on your next round.

I'm so sorry to hear this.. Every step from IVF to confirmed pregnancy is still so unpredictable, until delivery then you will set your heart at ease.

I try my best to do a mini confinement ie. 14 days. My parents weren't around when it happen, and my in laws are not aware of my MC. Everyday, I will cook food like chicken or meat in sesame oil and veg with ginger. Alternate days can boil chicken soup to drink. It is also good to buy black chicken to make chicken essence once a week. I even bought the packet herb to boil for showering. It's not smelly at all. Try also to make red date tea to drink. I am still drinking DOM every night.

Do you want to check with Dr Zou if she can prescribe 3 days herb to flush out the sac without going through D&C, if possible?

You are very brave to try sky diving.. Wanted to do it, but as i get older, really no more guts to try. I don't know during injection stage still can sky dive or not.. as it may cause your heartbeat very fast.. think better check with Dr Thong.

Ist IVF is usually trial and error, so this time your dosage should be adjusted, should be ok.

Do not give up hope yet, as sometime it may be too early to detect your HCG via HPT, and also depending on the brand that you are using. For Care, they always will do another BT for you to confirm the pregnancy. And it does happen to few pp, HPT negative and BT is positive, including myself.

Think you did mention you had your ER but postpone your FET till 2 month later? Why is that so? Due to too many embryos retrieved?

Yes, i tried HPT on D14, but BT on D17 was positive as my HPT wasn't able to detect due to my low HCG level.

I failed both my fresh cycle and FET in CARE, so both negative..

I did my last cycle in KKH, they only take BT.

Dun loss heart, it might be too early to test. some hpt might not be able to detect low hcg level. Do continue to be careful during this 2ww now. k?

It's the same for CARE Paragon. For 12 or less embbies for storage, the cost is like $350. It will be a higher cost if more embbies need to be stored.

Can somebody enlighten me? I will be starting my lucrin on 18th June but I'll be travelling to Taiwan from 26th June - 4th July.
I was just wondering.. how long after you inject Lucrin do you need to go back for vagina scan? I am so afraid that the scan might fall on my travel dates

How come you are taking your lucrin jab so early (D16) since ur menses reported today? What I was told was to take it on D21 and since your menses reported today, ur lucrin jab should be taken on 23 Jun 09. Is there a different protocol? Please share.

I have irregular menses so I am being asked to put on Microgyon. When menses report on D1, starting D2 I have to start taking Microgyon to regulate my cycle so on D16 I have to start with Lucrin. It is slightly different from the normal protocol.

They will be expecting another menses to come.. are you able to prolong your menses by taking the pills? Ask if they can adjust to lengthen the date for you, it's still ok to jab lucrin for 3 weeks before you start your puregon.

Are you taking the one jab or daily jab?

Based on libby's advise, D14 would be 2 Jul wor? how? You may want to tell dr and nurse ur concern. See what they can advise u.

If based on D21 lucrin jab which is 23 Jun, then the scan on D14 would be 6 Jul. Just nice, perfect timing. You want to double check with the nurse or Dr loh?

I'm hoping to go for the 1-jab so I just need to go back after 1 month but prob is I think I heard some lady in the forum mentioning that the 1-jab is out of stock and they are using the old daily lucrin again. So I have to wait for my menses to come before I can start puregon and for the scan?

Usually on D14 of Lucrin jab, you will go scan see if there's any cyst, and thickness of your lining. Puregon will only start after your AF come, accompanied by daily lucrin jab. Hopefully they are able to adjust your AF since you're on the pill, just 3 more days, shd be no prob..

I checked with Sierra. She took the 1-jab lucrin. She says supposed to go back for scan after 2 weeks which is D14 but she was delayed to D21 which is 3 weeks
if can delay I dont mind!

my lucrin was taken on D21. my AF normally will report on D28. I thot my AF will come on D7 from my lucrin jab.

why do u say that AF will come between D14 and D21 from lucrin jab? sorry har... a bit mess up with dates here..

My AF wasn't that regular but wasn't put on pills.. some pp AF will come before D14 Lucrin scan, then they will be able to start puregon earlier.. but for those like myself, AF only after D14 scan, then my puregon will start maybe D23. On D21 scan, they will inform you when to start your jab.

your conversation getting very technical, now im so confused! I'm also under the impression that lucrin shld be taken on D21, and once AF report, D2 will start puregon..ya, i also want to ask, AF will come between D14 and D21 from lucrin jab?

Sorry to confuse.. AF can come anytime between D7 to D21.. so puregon start date will be determined after AF has stopped.
