This was what I did in my last pregnancy.
- taking Anmum milk or Enfa MaMa
- taking pine nut, brazil nut, cashew nuts
- taking hard boil kampong chicken egg (normal egg also can). 2 times a week, if you are not sick of egg
- Avoid cooling veg. and fruits eg. pineapple, water melon, local chai xin, winter melon & etc
- No squatting or carrying of heavy weights (anything that stresses the abdominal muscle)
- No hot sauna or soaking of lower half body in bathtub
- No intercourse
- Do not stand or sit in a position too long. good to walk a bit to promote circulation
- No raw food and avoid oily and spicy foods as it may cause an upset stomach. High hormone levels cause bloatedness and hence add to discomfort
- No strenuous exercise
- No other medication other than those given by your gynae
Are you on TCM? Like Lina, I continue chinese herbs till to date. If you are not on TCM you may consider chicken essence. No matter what you are eating pls eat in moderation.
