I still worries alot at times and think of the worst and negative things but well I learn to take one step at a time now and let God take good care of the rest. I will be 12 wks tmr and will be doing my Nuchal Fold Scan on next Mon and intend to go back HK on Wed.

I'm a bit worried right now... I don't think I'm physically prepared for the cycle.. I didn't go for acu or take TCM like what most of you suggested bcos I'm really terrified of needles... SO worried that my chances will be very slim..

You 8wks already? Guess I'm 6 and hlf wks. Dr Loh and DH both said can see heartbeats, but I didn't really notice the small blinking dots. But I can see the embies in their indiv sacs. Only did tummy scan, so I was quite surprised can see so clearly. Anyway, IVF so higher chance of getting multiples cos of the no. of embies we trsf in compared to normal TTC.

If really very dry skin, maybe u can buy the cream version of body moisturiser which is thicker than lotion. For me, I think my itch is hormonal cos my skin surface doesn't look dry.

Don't worry abt acu needles. Not painful, just a small prick. You'll get used to it after 1-2 sessions. No harm trying if it can help improve ur ivf chances. I just tell myself to be brave and go thru cos I normally don't like the electrical pulse feeling. But got used to it after a while and even fell asleep once. :p

Hi Petals,

I have not decided whether to come back for the 2nd trimester scan or not. I will go for the new gynae consultation which is recommended by my HK friend when i go back and see how comfortable i'm with her. I have thought of coming back for monthly check-up too but on the other hand i dont want to be too stress up with the travelling..... will play by ear.

Not to worry. I read that at 6wks supposed to be approx 5mm, then 1.25cm at 7weeks. So mine is somewhere in betwn. If u look at the bottom of the scan printout, it shows the approx gestational age of the embies and also each of their EDD based on the size. But it's stated that it's only approx, +- 6days. Your next scan is tmrw? Yah, I think hair growth rate will change too.

Ok, just do what u r comfy with. I think I started I started acu just 2 wks b4 my lucrin started. So not too late for u. My puregon was 250IU for 9 days.

Hi, all, I just start my journey last thur.My hubby and I went to KKH clinic D, the doctor is kelly anyone here ever c her before? she just asked some very general question. Then told me to do two times blood test on 2nd day of my menses, and the other one is on my 21st day. And also I need to do an x-ray check and My hubby need to do a sperm check.
And I just want to get anyone here to help me that did you all go through clinic D first then be arranged to IVF center? Can I choose doctor for my IVF treament? Usually how long the doctor will transfer me to IVF center. And I notice you very ofter mention TPS and AMC, can I know what that stands for? Please forgive my poor English, as I am from Malaysia, and been staying in Sigapore 5 years, but seems there is no improve in my English.

Welcome! you are definitely in the right thread! I'm new here too.. Most of the senior are very friendly and they will give you the support you need.

Similarly, I went to clinic D during first consultation.. However, I saw Dr SF Loh who is the Head and Senior Consultant of KKIVF. If I remembered I met Dr Kelly Loi when I signed my consent papers. But don't worry, Dr Kelly assured me that they all work as a team.. ER is done by Dr Loh. ET will be done by him or any other docs. (Seniors, pls correct me if I'm wrong

Today is my D16 and I just started my lucrin. I thot is was just a normal review but wasn't expecting to start lucrin, so me and hubby got a bit shocked when staff nurse told us it's today. Nonetheless, everything went smoothly. They didn't ask me to do blood test..

Not sure is it because I'm nervous and stressed out or because it's my first taking this medication.. I feel nausea and my head a bit light... It this normal? Any of you gals experience same situation?

Just came back from my 8th week scan. Fetus measures about 19mm. Be seeing doc Loh in another 3 weeks. FTS in 4 weeks time. Any sista knows exactly what to expect during FTS?

To all undergoing IVF...
the days will pass very quickly. So endure and eat whatever you feel like eating now, because we have lots of restrictions now, and no appetite too.

So you've started your Lucrin jab. It'll be over soon. Before you know it, it's time for your puregon jabs. I was also like you when I started my jabs, didn't feel too well, but it's nothing compared to the morning sickness that I'm going through now...

My appointment is next Friday. My FTS is also 4 weeks from now.

Welcome! You can check out this KKIVF website for more info on the staff and the process. It shows the 3 doctors in the IVF team, Dr Loh, Dr Sadhana and Dr Kelly. You can call the IVF centre to check, but I think if yours is Dr Kelly in clinic D, will be the same doc who performs ur ER/ET. Once the doc give u approval to do IVF, they'll trsf u to IVF centre for ur jabs and scans until ER/ET, and u'll be dealing with the nurses mostly. http://www.kkh.com.sg/MedicalSpecialtiesnServices/Centres/KKIVFCentre/

Think diff people have diff side-effects when on lucrin n puregon. If unbearable, better check with the nurses, ok? I didn't have much side-effects.

What's FTS stand for? Also, I got a lot of brochures during my 1st visit. Are u going to do the Thalassaemia test? I even don't remember if I've done it before.
