Ladies,
anyone has any idea about the freezing part of the rest of our embryos I asked earlier? Need to call the hospital if want to continue to store for the next year?

I did get some medication from doc for the nausea problem. But doc said as I am not vomitting, I dont need to take. However, the 24 hours nausea without vomitting alone is already a 'suffering'. So I didnt take the medication yet, coz doc said only take if I really vomit.

singleton is easier for delivery and taking care...so happy for you. Private suite will be a better choice, shorter waiting time and no need to take queue number. They have free drinks machine, somewhere near the information counter. I like to drink milo from the machine.

My mum told me that she was actually worried if I am having twins. She is worried it will be very tough for me to carry the pregnancy as well as the taking care part after delivery(as I plan to take care of baby on my own for at least few years since I have quit my job and I dont plan to have maid) and it is considered high risk pregnancy. Of course she will still be very happy even if I am having twins.
All mothers are forever so caring for own children and cant help to be worried for many things in the children's life.
so now, she doesnt have to worry about how I take care of two babies if having twins.

I am not sure, coz I personally didnt experience any spotting during 2WW, but heard many cases from those mummies that they did experience spotting, some even had slight bleeding during their 2WW. So i guess it is ok if the spotting just lasted for very short while. You dont worry too much as long as it is not accompanied with painful cramps.
But if you have any painful cramps, it will be better to consult your doc then.
Stay positive, ok? It is fine.

Are you intend to change gynae? From what I understand, different hospitals have different practices. Different patients have different proctocals.
Here are the procedures:
May 08 to July 08
- On BCP. Total 42 days.
- Gonal-F injection. Total 10 days.
- Lucrin injection. 2 days before egg collection.
- No ET. I was arranged for FET due to OHSS.
- All embryos frozen.
August 08 to September 08 (FET)
- On BCP again. Less than 28 days.
- Lucrin injection & progynova (tablets)
- ET. After 2 weeks Lucrin injection & progynova.
- In 2ww, i was asked to take progynova, folic acid and duphaston. Proluton jab, once a week.
- Pregnancy test. 17 days after ET.
I personally like the team a lot. They are caring and patience. May be same frequency

I am back from mt ET. I only got 5 out of 8 fetilised and 4 usable emybro. I transfered 2 today and left 2 to be frozen. Hopefully they will implant well. I m using the pregnyl (self inject abt 4 days interval till BT). Can i ask after ET do u feel tight at the abdominal area?
And also i cant do urine test earlier since i m on pregnyl so it will mean false positive.

i also bought many classes of bikram yoga. i got a written memo from the doctor to excuse me from the hot yoga from the start of my ivf until pregnancy test. This way, the classes wont get wasted and you dont have to go for the yoga when you are in doubt. You can freeze it further with another memo stating you are pregnant after your bfp!

Went for abdominal scanning this morning and only 9mm. Is it quite thin? The nurse said minimum is 8mm. Meaning mine is only 1mm more. Have anyone tried TCM to thicken lining during 2ww?

Sue and for benefit of Angel & Zaza too, can walk from AMK MRT to the TCM dr. Hope i can guide clearly. See below pic blue lines hor?
From MRT, exit to main road facing AMK hub then walk towards right under covered walkway till you see a underpass on your right. Walk into the underpass and turn left at the end. Walk up a flight of stairs and come to another covered walkway. Follow the walkway straight. You will pass by Cheng San CC on you right. Walk on straight till you see blk 504. Walk along deck of blk 504 till reach end of blk, cross a mini road and you are at blk 505 liao. The med hall is just 2 shops away. Walk is about 8-10mins.
If dont want to walk can take bus from AMK interchange but i am not sure what number. FYI, i think i said ave 5 in my email cos when we drive will come down ave 5 but the street dir register as ave 8 instead so note hor. Its also along St 53 so bear in mind esp if you wanna take cab. But i think most cabbies know where. Nearby got 2 schools Anderson Sec and Nanyang Poly. HTH.

Comfort, glad you are much better now. Are you given Utrogestan to insert? Ok ma? I am kinda stressed by it dont know whether i m doing correctly or not. 9mm is ok, according to my TCM dr, its ok. Too thick also no good. I am on TCM for this 2ww to hope can aid implantation.

you did a day 2 or 3 transfer? USually it should be accurate 14 days after embryo retreival, provided you dont need pregnyl booster shots. I had false positives due to the pregnyl booster shots during my last BFN cycle when i test at day 12

Further to akachan direction, in case you want to know wat bus to take...Bus no. 265. Take infront of the bus stop at Jubliee. Think is about 2/3 bus stop away. Cant remember but Once u see Nanyang Poly press the bell the bus will turn right and that's the stop. Cross the road and that's the block.
