IVF/ICSI Support Group


yaa...I have a daugther who will be turning 3 next year March...tried FET in Oct menses and really really happy to have bfp
 
I know this qn might have been asked before, but for fet at kkivf, how many days of HL were given after transfer?
 
wow so many bfps recently. congrats congrats! really happy for all of u!
to the rest of us still waiting -lets be strong and hopeful, don't give up.
 
I try to make myself laugh everyday like watching just for laughs and other silly shows. Been feeling tired and hungry. Stomach sometimes gt pokey feeling then today headache. Most of the time I on bed rest as my TCM ask me dun walk too much.

Tink we r reading too much into symptoms bah.. I work as per normal no bed rest for me

just curious, for those who are working, how to insert Progesterone pills for the afternoon slot ? cos understand that everytime after inserted, need to lay down for at least 10mins?

I guess you can sit down if cannot lie down. I also didnt really lay down. Just this morning, I went out for breakfast right after inserting.

Hlixian, colettines: how re your girls doing at Tww? I kept having menstrual like cramp and backpain since the transfer. Guess I read too much into the symptoms. Actually I found that tww is the most diff period in this journey.

I also have menses like cramp this morning but it went away after a while. Other than that, I don't have any other symptoms.
Try to stay stress free and happy. I have been a couch potato since ET other than going out for meals.
Agree 2ww is not easy. Are you on leave or back to work?

Hi ringbell, I'm gonna stay home this 2ww other thn going to TCM. I dun want to fall sick or smell any second hand smokes. Taking abit mrr precaution esp my 1st cycle I ate something bad after my ET diarrhea for 2 days.
 
Trigger shot done by doctors sure would be painful. I did it on my own. Little pain cause when I injected very slowly.
So here's the thing- I couldn't contain my excitement so I tested 3 times on 8dp5dt. Got a faint positive. But I'm spotting pink right now. I'm praying it's implantation bleed and that it won't turn red. I doubt I would get any sleep tonight.

If spotting, monitor tonight & tomorrow morning but if it continues tomorrow do consider going to get see if you need some support since its hpt +ve. It cld be just implantation bleeding but better be safe than sorry. To wait till 24th is a long time.

Are you having cramps too? Maybe you can go to KKH o&g now? Dr can check and if need give you add support.
 
Scared to even leave the bed right now. I will go doc first thing in the morning. Thanks ladies. Really appreciate the support.
 
Ladies, this is my first post here. Can I seek your advise? May I ask if anyone is taking Tan Siew Bouy's herbs for their 2WW? I am wondering if it is ok to take during 2WW even though she say it is ok.

I took her herbs during the 2ww and BFP-ed for my second fresh cycle. After the BFP, I continued to take her "an tai yao" until now. I'm in the 3rd trimester.

I took her herbs till er then stop during 2ww though she did asked me continue but I told her my personal perference to stop during 2ww, she OK w tat. Then I bfp n continue w her an tai yao Till wk36+ n have a bb gal last sat..

Meilingg, don't give up! You can check with mschar in the 2014 IVF Mummies Support Group. She also stitched up and currently she's waiting to deliver her baby at week 36.
 


IVF is never an easy journey for people like us. I had my ups and downs. But today, I just wanna share my joy here that I had given birth to my healthy baby girl on 10 Nov 2014 and she's delivered by Dr Tan HH. Though everyday I must say it's tiring, everything is very worthwhile. I love my girl's cries, her smile, her cheekiness (yup! at such young age) and everything about her! :)

Jiayou all the sisters out there! I'm sure you will be like me one day with your bundle of joy in your arms.
